    In this video I tested Spic and Span to see how well it removes bacteria from my bathroom and kitchen floor. I used sterile swabs and Petri dishes to test for bacteria.

    It’s interesting how scents like that can bring back memories! I enjoy that. I still think of my Grandparents when I smell Pine Sol, Irish spring soap and Avon skin-so-soft. ☺

      @katiel3457 SSS works great as a mosquitoe repellent, I can't use those with Deet in them. It's safe for kids too.

    Spic n Span ROCKS! I used it on both my kitchen/bathroom sinks and toilet. It killed the odors. Once the odors are killed, so is the bacteria. I like to use it as a secondary clean after scrubbing with Comet, etc. Great stuff!

    Hi! It would be cool if you had some sort of rating system or a spreadsheet of products that worked best to worst, and maybe like their prices too?! I know that would be a lot of work, but that would be very cool and helpful. I appreciate your videos and all the work that you do. It’s nice to have some actual test and data on products. Greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks for bringing this product to my attention! I must have missed when they released this Advanced Clean version. The only thing is, since it was diluted in the bucket, I don't think the bacteria was removed using the diluted solution itself, it seems more of a combination of the warm soapy water, followed by the scrubbing action and the absorbing action of the microfiber. Good to know though, will definitely give it shot for cleaning the bathroom sinks and toilets undiluted. I think It would also be a good test if you were to evenly spray the test areas with the undiluted product without any other cleaning action, just let it sit for 10 minutes, then check to see if the bacteria was killed. You could do the same test with the diluted solution to see if it still has bacteria killing power. Thanks!

    I use spic and span and love it. Good to know it's doing a good job. 🙂 I have what may be a silly question, but why do you divide your sample section in two? It's still the same floor and you aren't really doing anything different in each square. Just curious.

    • @FieldOfFocus
      @FieldOfFocus  4 месяца назад +1

      Not a silly question at all! I test in two spots in each room just for sample size. I do more testing off camera also. But with a floor being so big there can be variation in bacteria, more so than the sink drain where I can swab the entire thing for my sample, so I tested two locations per room. Thank you for watching and commenting!
