I will never forget back when these trucks first came out and I pulled up to a local Dodge dealership in my 1992 Plymouth Colt hatchback that I swapped a fully built 4g63t into (that made 409 whp in an 1800 lb car) to check one out. The salesman came out and laughed at my car until I showed him what it was all about, but he offered for me to test drive the Ram. It was a manual trans, and MAN was I in love with it. It was the exact same as this truck and it was the only one they had. It had torque all over the powerband. I was only about 8 or 9 when the first Viper came out and I saw my first RT-10 in red at Rothrock Dodge in Allentown, PA and I was in love. An original RT-10 is my bucket list car, but first I need to own a 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S Quattrovalvole in red or black with the original gold wheels.
I still kept my 92' Mitsubishi Mirage Cyborg-R with a 4g93 NA short block + 4g92 MiVEC oil pump, head, trans+LSD. Tuned it to 210hp on 100 octane pump gas with Haltech Sport 500 standalone..... 900kg - 950kg
When it comes to your question at the end of the video, you should build it to be as fast as you’d like first, before you worry about making it look nice. I think it’d be a bit harder for you to beat on it once it’s all dolled up. Also, by doing things in that order, you only have to make to make it look nice once, rather than refining things every time you need to change something to go faster.

You didn’t just drop 40 lbs off the truck by swapping wheels, you dropped 40lbs of UNSPRUNG WEIGHT off of the truck. Which is WAYYYY more significant than 40lbs of sprung weight.
I used to own a ‘06 quad cab SRT-10…it’s not the fastest car I’ve ever owned, but dammit was that truck an absolute joy to drive. And especially with an upgraded exhaust, the deep bellows of that giant V-10 were just so satisfying to hear when you let it rip.
You should find and buy a gen2 or gen3 dodge viper and do a demon swap, just saying you already have a charger, a challenger and a truck, you are just missing the viper to complete the collection

Opening the tailgate actually has worse aerodynamics. when it's closed air swirls in the bed pushing air over causing less tail drag, an open tailgate causes higher drag off the rear and causes cab drag as well. Removing it makes the tail drag slightly better and reduces weight but still has bad cab drag which kinda negates the weight loss
I remember my 1900tvs supercharger running 215°-225° in traffic on my 07' 5.7L tundra. 550hp/550tq it was so fast. Love the SRT Ram build, been following the whole way
MAKE IT FAST FIRST FOR SUREEEEEE!!!!!! rip the seats and stuff out and other unnecessary weight and get a sick cover/ drag wing for bed of the truck and maybe built trans! BTW you just got a new subscriber. I love how much you put into this video! No dragging it out to be 4 videos, there’s an idea, there’s work being done, there’s troubleshooting and testing then there’s refinement of the final product and then you go and drive it like it should really be driven (on the street and track to really show what it can do) and then you keep us hooked by giving us more plans for the next one! pulling a hellcat/demon swap with a demon swapped vehicle is just too friggin funny. especially when the swaps are both vehicles that typically wouldnt be swapped to these power trains
You should put a drain valve on your ice tank an inch or two off the bottom. That way you dont have to worry about air locking the pump. Keep up the good work love the vids! 👍

the fact that it looks like the truck is trying to snap itself in half between the cab and the bed is insane lol might need a roll cage that connects the the bed for rigidity but i also am not a mechanic. That things awesome.
You should get some fungicide for the cooling tank. I am not sure that is the right spelling, but tap water has way to much crap in it. The other option would be to drain off all of the liquid and only use distilled water with the ice to keep unwanted things out. Loving the series, can't wait to see you get kicked off the track for your 9.5 with no cage!
Finish the performance! I have been watching this build since day 1 and to be honest I have to say it’s the baddest build I have ever seen by a mile! Paint can wait, I mean it’s a truck right?
@5:54 if you sit with the spoiler at your chest and your legs hanging off the tailgate or on the tailgate you can use it as a table, or set up some car show chairs in the bed and use the spoiler as a table, or you can leave the tailgate up and let the spoiler do its work and cause downforce on the back side of the bed so you get traction at a higher rate of speed even though it looks funny and out of place it has a purpose that one actually works...
I think you should redo the highlights, touch up the paint and trim, and in honor of the white scrape you bought it with, give it a white/silver pin strip flame job.
