    Formula 409 is recommended as a cost effective way to kill ringworm spores (fungal) in homes that you can buy easily in stores (as opposed to something like accelerated hydrogen peroxide type of cleaners used by vets, shelters, etc..) It's said to kill the spores with a certain dwell time due to the .3% ammonium chloride active ingredient that's higher than other products (percent). I think the surface has to remain wet for 10-15 minutes to be effective.

    • @FieldOfFocus
      @FieldOfFocus  3 месяца назад

      I do not have the ability to test the ringwork spores, so I cannot speak for that but I am impressed with the tests I conducted! Thanks for watching and commenting!

    I'm glad you tested 409, I do think the odor is strong, but I like the results. LA awesome is a good degreaser as well, I find the scent isn't as strong but I'm not sure about it's antibacterial effects.

      @@FieldOfFocusHi, yes I have watched that video it was great, I believe in that video there was a 6 minute wait time after spraying the vinegar. I typically spray and wipe so im not sure if that method kills bacteria.

    Thanks I enjoy your bacteria videos - very informative.
    I live across from a neighborhood bar, I like the owner. I quite all alcohol drinking 1 year ago. All good. I'd like to see more in contact with the bar so I'm thinking of offering cleaning and sanitation services.
    Is there some not too hard or expensive way for me to do these bacteria tests in the bar area, bar table, seats and bathrooms? Can I do this in my own home testing or do I need a lab?
    Thanks keep up the great work.
    Oh, one more thing - I live in a Chicago urban areas where thousands of "Migrants" are being let off, dumped here, some of the migrant shelters have had measles outbreaks and now TB. Do you have any sanitation, TB prevention suggestions for regular folks, my neighbors and I to guard against infection from these unvaccinated migrants who are living in unsanitary over crowded shelters? Thanks.

      Hi there! Most city or state department of public health have standards and requirements for cleaning. So the bar would have to follow those standards that the department of health requires. As for prevention of diseases that are prevalent in an area I think the best thing to do is wash hands with soap and water before eating or after being in public places, also taking off your shoes when you enter your home. If you have been exposed to TB or measles then call your medical care provider for advice. Thank you for watching and commenting!

    Have you tested the antimicrobial door mats that have the .99% silver / some use both silver and copper.. their is one with thevwet saniter side and one side for drying. I wonder if it stops shoes or feet/,paw tracking bacteria on floor around the house

      @FieldOfFocus right l. I'm crossing my fingers with high hopes they do. But it would be nice to see your results as those shoes and paws do a great job of litering the house it would seem.
