Welcome to Day 3 of the Rise & Shine Yoga Challenge! ☀️
Begin your day on a calm and relaxing note with this 30 minute, slow and gentle yoga flow, which is the perfect full body morning stretch for all levels. (This class can also be practiced in the evening as well)
The class begins laying down on the ground to connect with the breath. We will move into two variations of bridge pose, a gentle supine twist and then engage the core by rocking up into boat pose.
The warm-up continues with rounds of cat/cow, melting heart pose, sphinx, cobra and upward facing dog. Rest in child's pose before moving into the main sequence.
Other postures include low lunge, lizard, downward dog and wide legged forward fold.
The cool down includes yogi squat, butterfly and seated neck rolls. Enjoy a minute of reflection at the end.

This class can also be practiced in the evening or really any time of day. The goal of this challenge is to stay consistent and get on the mat daily. Hope you all enjoy! ❤️

Doing your yoga has given me the energy to finally clean my apartment after months of depression. Can't wait to do it this afternoon.
When I started this my first thought was, "wow I didn't realize how much yoga was doing for my anxiety, until I missed a couple days". I just provides such a balance to the go-go-go attitudes out there, and even fitness and stretching video's are kind of go-go-go. Then I remembered when I was in my early 20s and addicted to cocaine, and if I would miss a couple days I would be like "wow I didn't realize how much this stuff was doing to calm me down and take the edge off until I missed a couple of days", but then I would have to think "well If I can make it a couple of days, well then I should try and go longer and get off of drugs altogether". But, with yoga I don't have to think "well I made it two days without doing it, next time I will try and quit for good". I love that.
Incredible. This helped my migraine more than advil and herbal oils combined.
I'm not a beginner, but I enjoy doing beginner practices from time to time, to get back to the basics☺

I found this channel 6 months ago and I'm glad I did. I found the perfect exercise for my body - low impact yoga. I used to have very bad period cramps but after doing yoga with you, I'm surprised that I have minimal period cramps now. I was also overweight as per my BMI and I lost around 3 kgs in 45 days. Because of my weight, I used to have bad knee pains, which I also don't have any more. Thanks to you Jessica. This changed my life.

I love how your sessions predominantly focus on being slow and chill, rather than lots of standing poses, strength and Sun salutations - they have a place - but your approach is so what my mental health needs. I'm a very "unstretchy" beginner but I love your older 25 Min Yoga Flow which I do regularly since a couple of weeks - and now this variation just feels amazing! Today I’m grateful for my cat who came and flopped down on my mat during Mountain pose🥰
After a long stint of daily yoga I fell out of it and this was such a great way to jump back in. I've always had such a hard time with downward facing dog so it was nice to have that in there as a challenge for myself but not an overwhelming and discouraging amount of time in that pose 😊 Thank you.

I've been following your channel for about a year now and I've absolutely loved it out of all the other ones I've tried because you're so calming and really help your viewers. At first I was nervous to do a practice like this because I usually just do your seated yoga practices and bed yoga because I have POTS and FND so it's more challenging for me to do standing yoga but I decided to give it a try today and I'm so glad I did. It helped me believe in myself more and prove that I can do whatever I tell myself I can do. I love how in your practices you also help us focus on our mental well-being and really find self love in your practices. I'm glad I did this today and I will be doing more standing yoga practices. Hey! ☺️ how it works is you pull up the class you want to take on your phone, and then tap the button in the top right corner with the three dots. Then hit ‘play on computer’ and follow the steps that pop up!
