What a beautiful video and such good advise . Iam a grandmother and I don’t have good wisdom to pass on thanks to your videos I can learn and relearn ancient wisdom sitting away from my country .
Thanks for a sensitive and practical presentation for those of us living out of India--also appreciate your special points at the end for the emotional well-being.
Very informative as always. Rujuta and team - request you to do videos on baby and toddlers food plans and food habits. So that they start healthy, eat healthy and stay healthy. often parents offer unhealthy and packaged baby foods due to lack of planning, time and awareness. Rujuta is the only one who can enlighten us on whats the best food plan we can offer a baby. May be a small series would be appreciated. Thanks a tonn!!
Feels like this video made for me specially . After leaving India am suffering from gut heath and end up having skin problems and thyroid and depression. Dr dont understand anything in london and just doing blood test every visits and every month. So finally I started doing self medication few days back , I started taking pre and pro biotic and digest enzyme and zinc and magnesium and sopplery elm finally after 4 years to struggle i can see enormous diff in my overal heath and mental health and strong gut bacteria. My skin is much better and my mood .
Thanks for sharing this ….we live in Netherlands Europe …would love to know more for Indian people living in Europe…u spoke same like Rujuta… All the best to Rujuta n her team … I follow all ur videos n follow ur diet plans
Great tips. Thankyou. Pls advise about kids born or being brought up abroad. Their gut bacteria may be more skewed than ours who moved away at 30 years?
One question- what would be your guidance for Southern Hemisphere countries? E.g I live in Australia and on makarsankranti here it is summer and quite hot, so making gud ki roti or til gud is not really good since it is not winters here, what can be a workaround for this? Ofcourse we can make in smaller quantities just for Prasad but then again we don’t tend to make ot gud roti in winters and then I feel we miss out on some good recipes from our traditional cuisine
Mam aap aluminium me mana karte ho cooking but presure cooker to aluminium kay hote hai .....and pls make video on men's health for cholesterol ..heart liver .. thyroid thanks
How to reduce the serving size? Even if one does, hunger kicks back in sometime and then we end up eating junk. Specially in case of vegetarians, where one can't feel as full for longer with proteins as non vegetarians can.
Please put a video of vegetarians or jains going abroad. Big cities have some options. But if you are traveling or going to out of the way places it's very challenging
Mostly 80% Indian household (working women) they make food in bulk and freeze it Then during week just reheat and serve Also they use frozen rotis 😖 But certainly such working women hardly get time to cook especially in morning Its not as easy as it sounds
Not 80 but at least 30% cook & freeze it but at least this is better than buying take outs. These days you get so many ladies making fresh chapathi s & selling look for them source it out! You get homemade ladoos , tiffin service etc b/w i live in Australia..i know its not easy but you have to plan it out, try to pre prep like making coconut masala for the curry, base gravy for North Indian, knead the dough a day before. We dont eat chapathi everyday so i alternate with 5 grain kichadi, rice, millets, pav bhaji, misal pav, pasta with veggies, there is endless choice actually ☺️ …. Hope you got some ideas dear
In these Indian households if the responsibilities of cooking is distributed evenly on both men and women the amount of healthy/fresh food will increase
Anybody from Andaman n Nicobar islands?? Here even raw milk is so highly priced n highly adulterated dat i have stopped consuming milk at all...,, 😞😞 Veggies too .. feeling so depressed at times... Missing Bangalore diversity
The working time begins by 7-7:30am so it’s hands to make fresh foods. Isliye have to make and keep fridge for bf and lunch. So is it ok to take oats/muesli/cornflakes and bf daily?? That what easier and quick to make
Now a days , in Indians grocery stores ragi flakes, different varieties of millet( kodo, foxtail etc) flakes are available . U can try them with milk instead of packaged cereals with sugar and preservatives. Poha with milk and jaggery is good alternative . Keep batters ( idli, dosa) ready .
If that's practical for you do it. Rather than eat packaged cereals or consuming takeouts. Even rujuta had posted she eats night time bhakri in the morning. Also make sure you don't store stuff in plastic in fridge
Hey all! I hope you guys are doing great. I have a request if you guys could approve. Kindly make a detailed video on Collegen and biotin supilment as nowadays it is burning topic. Like the pros and cons and what if we stop talking the suppliments etc.
Absolutely useless information, what has this got to do with NRI , when I saw NRI 5 points I was pretty excited , food eating according to staying here , some tips regarding on say easy healthy cooking or good healthy food buying from here . I don’t need advice for how to live here … staying for a long time out of India most of them know what to do or not do . I know what I have to buy from my local here or Patel bros …. Totally waste video…
Staying in Africa and we get maids for everything so our problem is sitting inside house watching TV and emotional eating as we missing our Indian outing lifestyle
What a beautiful video and such good advise .

Very true about serving size...been here for very long but never use plastic to warm up and I never freeze my food. Very good video..
As u talked about meal preparation.. Things like making tomato paste etc. and keeping in the fridge is healthy?
Great tips. Thankyou. Pls advise about kids born or being brought up abroad. Their gut bacteria may be more skewed than ours who moved away at 30 years?
The last few points were really eye openers. Stop worrying too much and look after yourselves.
I have a question. So ice cream and juices should be kept outside? Won’t it melt?
Amazing Naghma. Mau and I are sending you all the love from here!

Have a banana as a filler in a mid meals or as a breakfast and drink milk in the night to avoid eating at midnight
