- 5 things for a better menopause (By Somya Gupta from my team)
1. Start your day with fig and walnut (within 15 mins of waking up)
2. Do not skip breakfast (have a hot, homemade breakfast)
3. Include a millet for lunch (atleast 3-4 times a week)
4. Have a traditional ladoo - rajgeera, aliv or rava naral
5. Have rice for dinner

3. Include a millet at lunch (jowar, bajra, kuttu, ragi); no mixed millets.
4. Bring back the laddoos.(Eg: Rajgira chikki/laddoo, Aliv laddoo, Rava coconut laddoo). Stop laddoo in case of excessive bleeding; have handful of makhana or cashew.
5. Have rice with legumes for dinner.
Note: Do not be part of any diet or exercise program.

hi , i am going through peri menopause . From Bangalore. i am 47. I have extreme mood swings. Its terrible actually. Another thing is that i have some kind of back pain always. I do yoga and I am able to but i still have this pain always. also i guess i might have osteoporosis as I also feel my toes are getting folded and stuck for a while unless i get up and shake my legs. Breast size also has gone a bit smaller. again something to upset me. Vagina on one side, I feel is a little numb and this issue was together with constipation.

Good point. Perfectly fine to do it. It won't lose any nutritional value. On the other hand it will become more easy to digest.
