Garath , last summer a person I was helping was evicted under the56 day no fault eviction. The cheapest 3 bed property was £1300. The rent allowance was £925 frozen by Rishi in 2019. So hearing it was increasing to the 30th percentile I hoped we could close the £375 per month hole.. But no ! The 30th percentile was set at £1050 still leaving a £250 hole.. There is not a single property on right move in Southampton wider area below £1250, I tried 3. Mile radius of 5 post codes.. the whole system is crooked, Councils are outbidding people for houses on the south coast to house whoever… but vunerable people are being left in absolute poverty trying to find an extra £250-375 after tax, ni, and UC 55% taper deductions

All very well Gareth, but Johnson first proposed ULEZ expansion. You are right though, about the Net Zero, anti-car, Yurt living Labour party, an absolute disaster waiting to happen, anyone who votes them in deserves what they get! Khan and his enclave won't reverse ULEZ its way too much money for TFL and the bandit councils to lose, nothing of course to do with the environment. IMO

Despite the failings of this useless government Gareth Bacon has been a good MP for Orpington, I will vote for him as I am terrified of a Labour government after survivng the two occasians they have ruled over us in my lifetime and I know nothing about the Reform candidate and I don't think they can win here and Labour is too big of a threat to take the chance.

What nonsense is this? The latest ONS statistics have us as no.14 in the export trade tables. Unlike many of our competitors our exports have not yet reached pre-covid levels. The Trans- Pacific Partnership is a joke. Those countries already had trade agreements with us as individual countries and they bought precious little from us because we were not selling much of what they need. At best it is thought that it might yield £1.8 Bn. That is a tiny compared to what we lost because of the incompetent EU exit deal. This is simply more lies from a Government which has allowed our economy to languish and sink into recession. Economic predictions are that interest rates will start rising in the Autumn and at the same time our GDP is set to shrink again. We have the highest level of taxation since the early 1960's. People are much poorer now, in real terms than they were when the Conservatives came into power in 2010. Vote for your lot? This government has been economically exceptionally incompetent. Common sense would suggest that risking your life crossing the Channel in a dinghy is a far greater deterrent to asylum seekers coming to the UK than being sent to the supposedly safe country of Rwanda. In other words, the whole Rwanda policy is utterly pointless and a repulsive waste of taxpayer's money given how much money is needed to repair this country after the state the Tories have left it in. Out of interest, will it be some Tory donor who will be providing the planes that will be used to fly the asylum seekers to Rwanda? (At vastly inflated prices of course.)
