Mate, I've been strongly considering it as my van is a euro 5 emissions (65 plate) and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it runs like a dream, and I live bang in the middle of the new zone. But how far do you go? Every day could easily rack up to over £500 in fines, after about a month I could be in for well over 10k with TFL... and as much as I'm sure some will be militant, but I'll be on my own with those fines.
Motorists will simply cover their number plates or fit clone plates of Khans private range rovers. Overload the courts with petty incidents and we win.

If it's about emissions why is a new Ford Mustang Mach 1 5,000cc (18-20 mpg) compatible. A 17yr old 50cc moped (150 mpg) is a high pollution vehicle and doesn't comply. It's about the Age not emissions.

Last month (June 2023) I caught a TFL 280 Bus from Sutton to St Georges hospital, the old diesel double decker chugged away stopping frequently to pick up passengers as buses do, the bus was making good progress, unfortunately it appeared to be too good as 2 stops before our final destination the driver announced that he’d been told by his TFL controller to “park up” for 5 minutes to “ even out the service schedule” So he waited at the stop……. Diesel engine chugging away for 5 unnecessary minutes…… the unfortunate people waiting at the Stop for other buses had to breath in this unnecessary pollution …….I bet these old diesel vehicles aren’t ULEZ compliant ….. and I bet All non compliant TFL vehicles are exempt from the forthcoming charge …. At StGeorges the 280 terminates so the bus could quite easily have continued and parked up there for the 5 mins… If this happens once every day to each TFL bus then how much cleaner would the London Air be and how much Fuel would TFL save No doubt if TFL review the procedure they will ignore the facts and findings and say it was “A one off event and the driver was at fault”
ULEZ can be stopped easily on the grounds of discrimination. You can not claim that you are helping the environment with ULEZ and then give exemptions for certain groups on religious grounds. This would be blatant discrimination against those who don't practice mainstream religion. Khan is granting exemptions for all those going to a place of worship.

Porsche intends to sell their Petrol cars for the foreseeable future. We do NOT need to adopt EV's they are a failure, there are 500 on a ship in the North Sea alight now. There were nearly 4000 cars on that ship which might soon sink, they are all lost.

Surely a judge would agree that his immediate sacking is just as fair as the decision made by another judge, who decided to allow him to continue with his ULEZ tax expansion and ruin the lives and businesses of many of those who voted him in.
