  • Sadiq Khan is riding roughshod over outer London's objections to ULEZ expansion, installing cameras and signs without boroughs' consent. He needs to go. Watch my question to the Transport Secretary today.

Parliament needs to remove local authorities' ability to levy charges and fines for anything. These should be set at a national level, not by local politicians and council executives to raise money for their own wastage and grotesque salaries.

So what he is saying is that the Mayor of London has Carte Blanches to do what he wants within his term, but the people only have once every 4 years at the Ballot Box to say get lost. Can't he be recalled like an MP can ? If not why not, if he is acting against the majority of the people as a little Dictator. There needs to be a mechanism of recall for every MP, Mayor, Councillor. They are responsible to the people, not themselves.

Sir please demand the house have the power to Vito bills that ignore public votes on the subject by ignoring councils or rouge mps , for to long now the image of mps has been deeply tarnished on all sides of the house, the house is a actively looking to show the government is working for the public, but not only with the economy and rising bilks, no one wants ulez but it’s being ignored, thus subject on ulez and pay per mile and 15 min citys that everyone us against is being ignored, it is vital that we and the house challage the london assembly power on this subject, to remain silent will impact hugely government to get elected in boroughs already we have reports of locals uprising up north freezing out councils that ignore people’s concerns over ulez and surveillance cameras with audio capability being installed against the will of the people. No one got a say on 2030 it was dictatorship that forces it on us , that is severely damaging the economy, as well as the ability to run businesses to set up for the expanded ulez shouldn’t be more than central london but it’s going beyond that to pay per mile levels without any change in law that is required and voted on my the public as it will impact poth the right to anonymity, give up the right to not be tracked by a government, and more worrying these camera are setup for facial recognition which is illegal in the U.K. and has been changed by multiple privacy lobbyists And amnesty International. This is being force though by Kahn who knows these rule are being broken so we must have the public have there say the same way we did with being part of the European Union in clear text that is legally binding
