what we need to understand is that the conflict of Israel and Palestine is not a religious conflict, its what they want the masses to think. it's imperialism a colonial state who is taking land from natives and bringing settlers from 'the whole world.

I don't follow all the policy choices of Pelosi (or most others) but I would say that equation is not accurate, because Chomsky wholeheartedly tries to be equitable while most politicians are exactly that: politicians. But in this world where might makes right playing the role of a do-gooder bent on fairness may be indeed a death sentence. So he wouldn't survive as a politician, and the lone nation that plays fair in a cheating game would lose.
