Gareth, you said it yourself by implication. The Police haven’t been responding to reported crimes for years. So people have given up bothering to report. I’ll qualify this by saying that in my opinion the police have been -unable- to respond. If resourced well enough, and unhampered by paperwork and revenue generation activity, they would respond to everything.
If the government hadn't continually stripped money from services, and destroyed people's futures then they'd be less antisocial behaviour. As there would be a decent future for the youth!!!
It's not the quantity of the police, It's the quality of the police i'am more concerned about. They don't seem to be made of the right stuff and seem to make up the law as they see fit. It does not help that they are lead by inept senior officers at the very top.
