The reimagined artwork looks incredible, especially for 'Roll the Bones' with the little boy sitting on top of the dice! "Show Don't Tell" was on the radio a couple of days ago and it's still a dang great song! The 'Presto' album holds up well.

Nice video and box set. Thank you. I’m only missing Roll The Bones and Counterparts from the 2015 Analog Production QRP pressings. 😢. Hoping that these would get individual releases also. This 180 and 200 gram thing is a bit of a marketing ploy to me. It’s more about the mastering and pressing quality, but those heavier records do feel nicer in hand from the thiner flimzy ones.

I'm with you on The Spider's Lullabye and Killing the Dragon are underrated gems! Also real nice score with those sealed WASP cassettes.

In my opinion Presto and Counterparts is two of Rush's greatest albums. They are definitely two of my personal favorites. Great box set Darcy take care brother.🙂🍻🤘

Hi Darcy!!! had no idea about this new Rush boxset, but i think it's a must have to any diehard fan...... i don't know how they do it, but all of their latest anniversary reissues are near perfect, very well done, cool packaging and extras too, like those alternative artwork covers. This must be the standard to any future special edition done by any "important" band..... cheers and be well

Great video as always, Darcy! With Judas Priest, Saxon, Accept, DragonForce, and Accuser all releasing new albums here in 2024, it's been a fantastic year. And I think 2025 has a chance to be even better! The ones I'm most looking forward to are new ones from Death Angel, Testament, Exodus, Sodom, Destruction, Dream Theater, and Candlemass. Also, Blitz has said that Overkill will spend the first half of the year writing their 21st album and will likely record the album during the back half of the year, so we will likely see it in early 2026.

I’m very pleased with this boxset. I have original Presto and Roll the Bones. But I have been looking for Counterparts and Test for Echo as they are incredibly expensive. The new vinyl sounds amazing. As good or better than the originals. The biggest surprise to me was how much I enjoyed Test for Echo because it was always one of my least favorite Rush albums. Very happy!

I got one from the rhino website a few weeks ago. Possibly was going to get a second box but they just sold out 😢😢

Hello Darcy 👋 nice unboxing and review video 👍 very complete and well done 👌. I also have recently started a vinyl collection of Rush legacy, listening more deeply their music. The 40th anniversary releases of their main albums are very good editions, even if the super deluxe boxsets are mostly expensive. Well I bought the 5 LP boxset of Moving Pictures and I’m waiting for the super deluxe boxset of Permanent Waves from USA 😁🤙. Great stuff ! I just received my boxset of those 4 albums from Rhino and I enjoy it fully like you. Even if I would appreciate a few pages book with it, of some informations and photos, and that the illustration artwork would be directly printed on the box rather than a glued sheet. Whatever it’s a wonderful boxset and nice new artworks, plus the enjoyable music on vinyl 🤘. I consider Rush and Dream Theater as the two greatest progressive metal/hard rock bands. By the way Rhino also released a similar boxset of the 4 first DT albums a few months ago (also in my collection 😁😅). Two others volumes are planned for 2025. Thanks for your super channel 👌. I grew up near Cleveland, Rush was huge! 2 of the best things to come from Canada is Rush and this channel.

Power Windows to Roll the Bones was myleast favorite period of Rush i really disliked the synth years,they grew on me eventually though.Still never missed a show since 79

I´m more like a 70s Rush guy, I could never get into their 80 records. They got better again in the 90s and 2000s. BUT: For some strange reason "Counterparts" is my fave Rush album of all time. Those reissues of "Presto" and "Roll the Bones" look like the original pressings, same inners and same center lables. I had those two on vinyl but sold them not too long ago. Trust me, I got a good price for those, hahaha... For the whole week I had "All the World´s a Stage" on in the car, that will be changed tomorrow to Scorpions "Tokio Tapes".

Rush was a part of my life, bought the original vinyl from Rush the debut and later some on cd. That box looks awesome! Their performance on Pinkpop in Holland was unforgettable. So good to hear your enthousiasme about these boxes. Love Canadian bands, in those days Rush, Triumph, Max Webster, Goddo. Last week I saw Mystery a progrock band and they were so good!

Great video showcasing one of the greatest bands ever. I was on the fence as you know, but now I’m just about convinced. lol. Prints look great, I have originals of presto and bones, inserts are the same I’m 99% sure but the center labels aren’t. I don’t have counterparts or test for echo. . Really pissed, ordered mine from Rush Backstage, arrived yesterday here in the Uk, but Test for Echo has the first disc duplicated (no disc 2 sides C & D) I contacted them, but because it’s sold out, they can only offer a refund 😔

Like you say mate… every year has been a good year for Metal… especially in the last decade imo. There’s quite a few releases you showed there… that I still haven’t picked up… I just can’t keep up with them all Darcy, lol. Good to see you brother🤘🏻

Very nice boxset. Unfortunately it is not released in Europe as far as I know. So it is not available to order at any of my usual stores, if it was I would have had it by now. I’ve got an OG of Presto pressed in Germany. Innersleve looks the same, but center ring is the orange Atlantic one. Take care!🤘

King Diamond has been way too long. Totally ridiculous!!! Saw the new W.A.S.P tour. It was😊 amazing hearing that whole first album. I was in heaven!!

I've drastically cut down on buying albums prices were the main reasons. Love Accusser. Destruction just released a 12" single on vinyl. Primal Fear always a must buy. New Brainstorm coming. I have that King Diamond my one and only. Loved Ballistic, Sadistic. We need those re-issues. Herman the great. That Armored Saint is hard to find now, especially 1st pressing. I thought I read Todd is coming out with new one in 25. Well done.

Great ranking Darcy. Piece of mind is also my favourite, and it was the first one I bought on release day, 10 years old. I try to pick up everything they reissue and was really looking forward to a 40th anniversary of Piece Of Mind. I was quite disappointed when they chose to only release a Anniversary Art Book. It’s a nice book, don’t get me wrong, but I’m one of those fans who wants a deluxe version of a vinyl or cd or boxset of both. More happy with the 40th anniversary release of Powerslave. Take care!🤘
