Is this a poorly thought-out hype? Is it a bad idea to fill your watch with silicone oil? The oil has good di-electric properties, meaning that it is an excellent current insulator. And in your watch there is a 1.5-3V battery that is now surrounded by silicone oil. Silicone oil will settle between the contact surfaces for the battery. The result...very poor contact? I'm just asking: is this a good idea?

Apparently the alarm volume is actually dependent on the water resistance level, less water resistance means a louder alarm and vice versa.

What is the best point to use? Acrylic water oil.

Does it matter that the lacquer you spray on at the end is also on the case around the G-Shock logo? Did you do something after you sprayed the lacquer on? Is that alcohol or nail polish remover you used to remove the excess white paint?

I love the look of the F91w but I have conflicted feelings since its so small for my 7.25 inch wrist. Also no timer, that would be so good! The reason I wear normal watches especially solar/MB6 models is because I want to set it and forget it. I an iWatch and had to charge it twice a day due to so many notifications and all kinds of other things. Gave up on it but did love the option to leave my phone at home!

i dont see anything wrong with it considering casio makes other watches that are smaller anyway like the a168 and thats a classic.

I have a dumb question... What multiband does is setting my time or just keeping it accurate, like, if I go from Chile to the UK, will it auto-set or I will need to set it and then it will be just accurate AF?

This may be a dumb question, but I live in Chile and the hour is hugely different to any of the places atennas are placed. Synchronizing to them wouldn't leave me using their time instead of mine?

I use the F-91w and had to use the alarm for a few days when I broke my phone. I was worried about it not waking me up, but it did. It's louder than you would think from that tiny watch. Oh, just remember the bell is the hourly chime and the little waves are the alarm. The first day I turned them both on and woke up on time, but the 2nd day I only had the bell on thinking that was the alarm and was nearly late for work. Also, just wanted to add I have the Casio calculator watch too, and just realized the battery is at least 5 years old, and that's how long they claim it lasts. I bought it in September 2019, actually used it as a calculator at work for about a year because the work one was always dirty, so 1 year of calculator use, and about 4 years minimum of sitting around and the time is only off by 2 minutes and is still on daylight savings time. Damn, Casio really does make great watches for cheap. it's unreal how good they are for the cost.

I love Casio watches. My other budget friendly favorite watch is Armitron sport watches. They are good quality like Casio. They come with a lot of features and durability. Plus they make good looking watches as well. Including another budget watch that I like is George watches from Walmart. I have quite a few of those in my collection and are fairly decent for the price. Only thing with those is the sports watches are made good and they have lasted me for a while. It’s the dress watches are to be made very cheaply and ended up just tossing those away after a few months. They did come apart. Or just quit working.

Excellent result. In my opinion more comfortable to wear.

You mentioned when you put it on your wrist it’s either too big or the next hole it’s tight. What I do is I put a self adhesive pad either rubber or like the soft side Velcro pad on the back side of the watch and it gives the adjustment a half of an adjustment to make it more comfortable and meets in the middle. Also if a watch case digs into your skin, it raises it a bit and you can’t feel the edge of the watch and keeps it more breathable for your wrist. And the good thing is it’s hidden and can’t see it and I usually get them at Walmart or the Dollar Tree. You get like 6-8 in a package.
