It should be noted that the Eone Bradley has been around for a while. This is an homage to that. I have nothing against homages, but some people prefer to own and support brands the made the original design. And Eone does advertise the Bradley as being able to feel the time by touch. And the Bradley also has the hours and minutes inverted. That post from Reddit is correct. When you look at the hand stack of a watch, the hour hand is on the bottom. So for these watches, they "just" extended the hour hand and shortened the minute hand and stuck magnets on the end of them. It's similar to one hand watches like Luch and Slow. They just extend the hour hand out to the edge.

One thing to be careful of is trusting that an old watch is water resistant. I bought a dead and dirty G (from Buyee of course), pulled the back off to change the battery and found the seal pinched. I was either going to clean it or do the battery first and it was just luck that I didn't soak the module. Great looking watch and amazing price.

Love mine. it's a budget G shock. The one bug is the date format, what morons think placing the month then day is correct. In the English language, it's A B, then C, alphabetical order, etc, and day, month, year. The day is always most common, followed by month then year. At the very least, give the option to choose.

Very cool watch, I've actually been looking at similar ones for some time. To be honest though, the inverted minutes and hour tracks would really throw me off, which I think would make this more of a novelty watch that you wear occasionally, just for the fun of it, kind of like my all wooden watch. That said, I think I'd still buy it just to have something unique and special to wear on occasion. If you're interested, I'd appreciate a long term update after a few months. I'm curious how the balls and tracks hold up to dirt and grime accumulating after extended use (like the gross soap residue that builds up on the inside of my watch straps). I think the “minutes - hours” inversion is intentional and not some kind of design engineering problem. Inside (I would be curious to see it open) there will be something similar to hands or magnetic plates. I assume that the spheres are not made of stainless steel otherwise they would not be magnetic, what are they made of or covered with? Nice review, detailed.

Super interesting watch! I like it but I'm sure it'll take some time to get my head around the minute/hour track being the opposite way around! The silicone strap would be my preferred option. Great review as always Tim, hope all's well mate 👍

The first company which realized this concept is Magneto (Germany). You can google "Magneto Watch". So, all other companies (mostly Chinese) are practically copies. However, with the real Magneto watches, the structure of minute/hour balls (hands) is the same as in conventional watches - the minute ball is outer one, the hour ball is within the inner circle. Btw, even tho the concept is unique and kinda cool, they could include some kind of glass protection over the dial, to keep the dirt out. And a better water resistance would definitely be more useful... 3ATM is just splash resistant.
