@@you_cant_see_me_3000 Awesome - Thanks so much for pointing these out, man! 🙏 I’m checking them out now. 👌 I’ve been really impressed with JaysAndKays adapters so far, especially for my GD-350! 🙌
Loved seeing all the strap options. I to have the Vario leather strap Strap for my F91W and I also vouch for it being amazingly supple right out of the packaging. Amazing video. Thank you. 🙏
@@Skyler.Santana Cheers Skyler! 🍻 Oh yeah - Glad you can attest to the comfy quality from Vario! 😎👌 No problem my friend, thanks for your viewership! 🙏
Oh ! F91 and 158 were stunning after the mods - almost as stunning as India’s victory over Aussies in the first BG Trophy match 😉 BTW, a RUclipsr friend of mine was kind enough to feature my 60+ Casio collection in his recent video. I’ll post the link in a comment. You’re welcome to watch it when you’ve time !
Thank you, Sathish! 🙏🤩 Hahaha, can’t argue with that 😜 Ooh, interesting! I can’t wait to see it. 👌 Please note that links to other videos are disabled in the comments, but I can see the link now in moderation 😄
The 3D printed adapters are a nice idea, but I would have preferred the NATO strap split with specific adapters and the “Wings” in place. The “Wings” are not only for comfort, but also take up the concept of the G-Shock 5000/5600 series straps that protect the bottom of the watch in the event of a fall. I bought your same bracelet as the A158 and had the same problem: it improves by using smaller diameter spring bars that facilitate rotation inside the lugs; unfortunately, on the other hand, the hold is precarious and it came off my watch. Anyway, nice transformations, maximum yield minimum expense.
@@deips74 Thanks man - I know what you mean. The wings are important! 👌 (I just watched your short where you showed this build idea, nice one!) Actually, I have done the strategy you suggested with my Gold GD-350, I used adapters and was able to keep the wings (though I did use a single piece NATO, which I threaded under the wings). It was at the end of this video if you are interested in seeing it up close: ruclips.net/video/plMlPUoeo3E/видео.html Interesting!! I did not know about this fall protection functionality. Oh man, sorry to hear that the straps came off. That was a smart idea to try using smaller spring bars to get them to move better! 👌 An idea I am considering is using a tool to file down the edges of the strap, so that it may move more freely. Thanks as always for sharing your feedback and expertise! 🙏
Hi Tim, I've also got the Vario leather strap on a F91w, super comfy and a perfect fit! They also do a great strap for the AE-1200 and AE-1300 in a few different colours. Love all these strap options mate, with appreciation and kind regards 👍
Hi Rik! 👋 Awesome choice, my friend! 👌 I’m so pleased with it. Ooh, nice! One of the Vario straps I did get is for an AE-1200 😉 Can’t wait to install it. Thanks for weighing in, and for your support! 🙏
I love the two-piece NATO-wannabe straps, precisely for their thickness and sturdiness. They will fray over time, but with double the layers, the decay will be slower, and they're really comfortable. Mind you, mine have fixed steel keepers, so they're easy to put on. I neither like or dislike the LF-20 with the adapters. To make something for a Casio with hooded lugs, my plan is to "vario" an off-brand 22mm tapered strap. This could be silicone or leather, if the stitching permits.
@@vaclav_fejt Fascinating! Thanks for weighing in with this perspective, man. 🙏 I hadn’t looked at it like that, but you’re right - there’s advantages to the thickness! 👌 Awesome idea for a mod, by the way! Would love to see that 👀
Funny how you got the silver F91. I bought the military green one today 😂 great minds think alike. Thinking about putting a nato on it but I'm not sure. Still looking for different band options.
These all look terrible and more expensive than the watch itself. There are ali replaceable bands of original design for every watch and in different colors so... and they are resin so you can actually use the watch in wet. Love my F91w! Use it for manual work to save my automatic. I found calculator strap in 18mm... that one with holes... from back to the future. My F91 is gonna look alien.
@@OG_CHARLIE_B Oh yeah, so happy it was out for a decent price! 🤩 There is a brighter silver colour than this ‘gun metal’ one as I call it too. 👌 Awesome, man! 🙌 The green one is dope too. 🔥 No worries if you’re considering doing a NATO, I’d recommend an 18mm without any adapters for the comfiest and cleanest look, like what I’ve done with my Casio Bumblebee (Same size as F91): ruclips.net/video/nFu3CAIZPtk/видео.html
@@Stanjara Hi Igor, there’s no way the NATO straps I’ve been getting are more expensive than the watch itself! 😁 The appearance is subjective of course. 👌 But the comfort is pretty nice, too 🤩 Nice one - Sounds like a cool strap option! 👏
When a strap is double $ than a watch. 😆I've ordered a canvas one from Temu, for my F-91W. It costed me $3, and it's just perfect. Vario straps are pricey and rather an overkill, at least for most of Casio digital watches. Imo, a leather strap on F-91W just doesn't suit well. Canvas would be much better for that sporty look. A-158W is a great match. LF-20W is an oddball... canvas is no fit there. And that G-shock... shouldn't those bull bars touch the glass?
@@damyr Yeah it’s definitely an investment! 👌 Nice one, yeah I have found very affordable straps on AliExpress too. Cool idea to use one on the A158W! The GD-350 has quite a raised bezel for protection, so I doubt the bull bars would be able to make contact 😁
