I bought simple Canvas strap from AliExpress. It came in packaging of 2. One color was bright Orange and other black. Ended up using Orange strap as it gives good color contrast. 😊

Just so everyone knows: If you buy a thin nato/zulu you can squeeze it through it just takes some time and effort. Thin nylon straps are lighter and more comfortable anyways. Also it looks better in my opinion without the adapters (cheaper too). You have to remove the pins and smoosh the strap in and then push the pins back in.

A timely video. I commented on your last video I bought F91W and the strap was way too short. I have ordered the adapters, but I opted for regular Heimdallr nylon strap from Aliexpress. Someone recommended Jay and Kay's, but they cost more than the watch, which to me defeats the purpose of this type of watch. Although an argument could be made that these cheaper mods still drive the cost up to the point it's more practical to just by a slightly more expensive model to begin with. I justified the extra expense by saying I have a non-useful watch that will be made useful for a minor amount of money. I am considering hydro-modding it as well, but I am not sure. The F91w is probably my favorite watch, looks great on that blue nato. I agree they can be a bit bulky on such a light, small watch so I like what you've done there. You can get single pass nato straps which also work well as they're generally thinner. Great video mate, hope all's well 👍

Great timing for this video as I was just looking into modding my Gshock DW-6900 with strap adapters. Looks like this will be a very similar process and equipment. Nice video!

I think you'll find you get better results in removing the pins by keeping the frequency of your hammer to less than 10 hits a second. Patience is its own reward! That aside, I like the look of the F91W on the Nato. I've started watching your channel recently, and you've inspired me to try modding some of my cheap Casios. I think I'll have a go at the SKX case mod for the Royale. It feels strange buying a case that costs 4x the price of the watch, but watch collecting isn't exactly a rational hobby. Cheers!

I am not a fan of NATO straps because they go under the back of the watch, it is not comfortable for me. But I have to say that you did a good job (as usual) and the adapters match perfectly.

As some have pointed out, with the adapters folded backwards to accommodate the strap behind, it raises the watch quite far off the wrist. Didn't bother with adaptors and just put on two piece canvas strap, with quick release. It looks much better than on a NATO. NATO strap is just too bulky for this tiny watch.
Great question! 👌 I believe the Lug Width of a Casio Royale is also 18mm, so this adapter should fit too. As the person below said, a 2-piece strap would be a good idea to ensure the watch isn't raised so high! 🙏

Also you can cut off the second pass/excess strap completely to reduce the bulk. I’ve done this on several watches. 👌🏼😎
