Try a test on some SK ammo. I have 2 rpr's and a vudoo that LOVE it
yes its all i use now.
Try it in 17wsm
Something you said hit a nerve. No such thing as too much scope for an accurate .22 Reason being most 22 scopes aren't worth a crap, the reticle/crosshair is usually thicker than what you are aiming at. People shoot their 22's way more than anything else because the ammo is affordable. Seeing a Tikka or CZ with giant scopes takes you back at first till you have one.
i have a 7-35x56 on my vudoo. i get it.
NOT CROCKS!!!!!!? 🤣
CROCKS!!!!!!!!!
i hope its time to do that again but put a barrel tuner on it and tune each round , then show the comparison. i was able to shrink my moa by 50% with a tuner . but i dont know which ammo would do best if tuned properly. you probably dont need most of the obscure brands but the 10 most popular brands . not sure about every type from each manufacturer that would take a long time and alot of money! but anything you can do especially for less expensive ammo! can we call the rpr a good rifle to compete against the fancy expensive rifles just by adding a tuner?
Stop making excuses for design flaws in the barrel manufacturing process.
stop being a complete douche bag.
Nice 👍🏼 🎯 💯 🔥 💨
Does no one read the owners manual? It specifically says not to shoot Stingers. The casing is longer than other .22lr and can get stuck in the chamber.
HAHAAHAH you're only about 7 years behind you fucking retard and no, no one reads the owners manuals on guns. go back to your fudd cave.
What rifles and manufacture in any caliper can shoot a group of .20 and .10 at 50 and 100 yards. Is there a .22LR rifle that can shoot a group of .10?
Learned a lot from this video. Thanks
thats my goal! glad i could help sir.
What magwell?
Nice
Apakah saya bisa membeli amunisi 22Lr dari anda?

This video makes me feel really good about my stock RPR, with cci SV my groups look very similar to yours with the shaw barrel!
yes, love the RPRF. it got a lot of hate in the beginning but people quickly changed their tone once they realized how much more they'd have to spend on a rifle with similar accuracy and options
Did you say 11 pounds 5 ounces trigger pull??
yes. i figured normal thinkers would know its 11.5 oz though. sorry for the confusion
Please forgive my beating a dead horse but I was actually thinking 1 lb 15 oz!
@@haroldwilliams6219 its been so long since i've filmed this i can't even remember now what i meant to say. but i think its pretty obvious its not 11 pounds
I'm wanting one. I have a Ruger Long-Range Rimfire Target (apparently kinda rare) and feel it needs 'company' in the safe.
those long range rimfire rugers suck get rid of that trash and get the b14r
My RPR likes Eley ammo best, CCI Blazer was surprising but not match quality.
you cannot ever go wrong with blazer LOL. stay away from eley its become trash.
Any advantage with the steel barrel compared to the carbon ? I shoot lefty also. any advice would be appreciated
depends on what you want to do really. if you're in to shooting some type of NRL with obstacles i say go with the steel the added weight will help you stay a little bit more planted in the obstacles. if you're hucking it around the woods hunting i say go with the carbon version, its significantly lighter. BUT both shoot equally well.
Ordered mine here in the UK yesterday, should have it by Wednesday
you're going to love it.
I’ve got the same rifle with the KRG Bravo stock and Leupold 4.5x14 LRT glass. You don’t mention anything about it in your video so I’m kind of guessing that you may not have experimented with torque settings for the action screws. The instructions that came with the stock specify 65 inch pounds but I’m almost positive that’s if the stock is being used with the Tika T3X Rifles. I started with 20 inch pounds, fired (5) five round groups at 5 inch pound increments up to 65 inch pounds and the sweet spot on my rifle is 40 inch pounds. With that torque setting and Eley 40gr Match I’m consistently getting 1 to 1.25 minutes at 50 yards (that’s with an AAC Aviator can).
i put them to what the factory recommends for the tightenss. its funny to me how people will rest the accuracy in the hands of the "action screw torque settings." but it doesn't make a BIT of difference. none, zero. stop fiddling with it.
Which is more accurate between the carbon and the steel barreled ? 🤔
its really a toss up. depending how you want to use it if you're gonna shoot NRL type matches go with the steel since its heavier and will help on obstacles, if you're gonna be hucking it around the woods go with the carbon version since its lighter. both shoot extremely well
Okay so here is my question for can you put this on a standard AR-15 lower I have a multi-cal PSA lower it’s the whole reason why I bought it yes the A2 stock sucks even with the pad on it so besides having to get a new stock do I have to buy a new lower as well or can it fit on my current lower?
sure can. standard ar15 size magwell, nothing is different in the lower
Appreciate it!
appreciate YOU
Should’ve got the magnum!! Lots of info. Thanks!
Why? if i'm getting anything in 22 mag it'll just be 17 HMR instead.
@@coreyd1474 in the woods I just love the magnum man. It’s got the penetration and the knockdown. The 17 is good but it always just blows up on impact. Even if the impact is a leaf. 22 mags where it’s at brother. But what I was really getting at is this gun in particular groups great with the wmr barrel at 100 yards. The LR is a toy for kids
@@southernplumber7373 LOL its a toy for adults too. i can shoot steel with my vudoo accurately at 600+. but i love the magnum too as well. haven't had one in some time though.
22lr is harder to find in my area anything is good for me. 🤘 very cool most common thing I find is a brand “fiocchi”
where do you live?
I own 10 CZs and never had one shoot that bad. That’s why I own so many.
glad you enjoy them.
Corey - I have the opportunity to get this rifle with a $220 vortex optic and Magpul bipod for about $900 after tax and FFL. Yay, or nay? I’ve been after one of these rifle but they haven’t been produced in quite sometime.
i mean if you're just gonna go out and have fun with it that doesn't seem like too bad of a deal espeically if you've really wanted one!
I have several CZ and they all shoot great. Those are probably the worst groups I’ve seen out of a CZ. Have you tried again maybe after you got used to the gun? Mine all do really well with subsonic ammo. I use RWS subsonic and CCI Subsonics mostly.
i have seen several shoot just as poorly but overall you're right, they're usually much better. still love cz
Aquila was always hit and miss with whatever I tried it in. It would shoot really tight groups but would throw fliers every 10 rounds or so. Every box, every batch, every gun. I don't know what the issue was but they always did it. They burn dirty too, lots more fouling and unburnt powder. Which is no big deal if they shot well. I want to love them but they just don't have the consistency down.
and you forgot to add you can always smell when someone is shooting aquila. no matter how poorly it shoots it always smells the best lol
@@coreyd1474 You are right, they do have a distinct smell. The WD40 of rimfire ammunition, haha.
@@TheKajunkat its refreshing
This thing looks🔥 nice vid bro👌 my only question is what brand light is that on the side? Thanks for the video
thats an old surefire. its terrible i only use it now for an IR illuminator
Have exact set up for both rifles. I agree with the Shaw on the RPR. The stock barrel is fine. But for the 10/22 I love that Shaw. Also have a Kidd 18” fluted SS that I think is a touch more accurate but idk
i think kidd makes some really good stuff. but the price reflects it for sure.
You would of impressed me it you were doing this at a 100 yards ...Your right your accessory can very from one manufacturer to another ..
sorry i couldn't impress you. i'll do better next time :0
Miss the 22lr content, That being said, If you buy another suppressor, Maybe lean towards a .30 Cal Multi caliber as a dedicated 22lr can. I know, I hear it now… but in my experience, after shooting rental 22lr dedicated cans for years at the range, with only fair results, I finally settled on a Griffin Optimus 9. I only run it on our CZ 457s and B14r. There’s basically no difference in sound, My Optimus comes with a .22 Cal end cap. Dead quiet with Subs, No impact shifts, and for whatever reason, my 16.5” HB 457s with the Optimus shoots SK Match .200-240 groups consistently with the on and off .160s Just a tip. I think the larger baffles help?
i currently have the 3 22 cal cans and a nomad L and a sierra 5 in xeno. the nomad is dedicated to my tikka t3x tac a1 and the sierra 5 is currently on the jp.
Thanks for the videos. Having watched quite a few CZ 457 Varmint + ammo videos on RUclips, I can only conclude that your test results (and with that, your rifle) are an exception to the rule and most probably not indicative of the precision & accuracy of the CZ 457 as a whole.
sorry i missed your comment i apologize. i wouldn't go that far. i have seen many with rifles that persom the same as this BUT i have seen way more that are true to CZ rimfire quality. loved everythng about this except for the accurace. the action is one of if not the best on the market for this price range.
I know this is a 4 year old video but wanted to chime in. A few guys in our town (very small) started putting rimfire shoots. I thought it would be fun, which it is but I got to watch that I don't go down a rabbit hole with it lol. I have a habit of spiraling out of control with projects. Anyways, I watched a bunch of reviews on 22 rimfires. I didn't have a lot of money to spend so I settled on a Savage Mark II. 275 bucks out the door. 16inch bull barrel. It will shoot sub moa groups all day with SK match and SK Long Range. But sub moa isn't quite good enough. It may do better with some 35 dollar a box ammo but I'm not paying that much. So I came across a Ruger Precision. If I didn't get such a good deal and was easy to get my money back out of it I would of been extremely ticked. It isn't half the gun that the Savage is. Not no where near as accurate and had a lot of issues with failure to feed and eject. So I sold it and ordered the cheapest CZ457 I could find. It's an American suppressor ready with black nylon stock model for $530 It isn't pretty but man it can shoot. It took about 3 boxes of shells for it to start breaking in. By the 4th box it was shooting one hole groups. One group was incredibly small at .285 inches. That's 5 shots at 50 yards. I also shot two flys that were walking around on the target. Best part is that it was the cheaper SK Standard plus ammo. The only issue I've had is failure to fully eject. I gave the bolt a good cleaning and lubricating but haven't had the chance to take it back out to try it. Hopefully that issue will go away. It's also the pencil thin threaded barrel. I figured it would heat up quick and start shooting all over the place but it never really got hot. So I'm hoping I can be a little more competitive since the barrel will drop me down in the standard class from the outlaw class. I can't justify several thousand dollar rifles to enter a competition where you might win 10 bucks a round.
always love the savages. they always shoot well
Great video man ! Do you still own this rifle ? Have you tried Norma Tac22 ammo ? Thanks for sharing
i have but not in this one.
@@coreyd1474 my Bergara BMR Carbon absolutely loves it. I just ordered a B14r the other day and I’m hoping it shoots as well.
@@SigCross solid chance it'll shoot just as well if not better the b14r is the best 22 for the money ill keep saying it.
Well my new B14r really likes the Tac-22 as well. I’m getting 1” groups on average at 100 yards. I’m sure with more practice I’ll get even better. Really love the B14r.
@@SigCross i don't even get tired of saying it. its teh best 22 for the money. not even close
I also own a CZ 457 and it is funny to see that my cheap Savage B22 shots better with cci standard. I have to make more tests thanks for the video it is great you are presenting the truth of these rifles.
hey man don't sleep on the b22 that thing can be a shooter. if they get the magazine issue fixed where it takes huge chunks out of the bullet when its fed they it would be even better.
@@coreyd1474 does your Cz 457 has treading for a suppressor my Cz it has and I notice after testing that my accuracy declines when I left the protector cap on my barrel usually it comes lose after a few shoots and my grouping goes quite random.
@@eduardochacon4347 no the barrel is not threaded
457 varmint and pro iirc are the only ones with bull barrels the other models have thin barrels
alright
Is 1/2 @50 yards = 1/2 moa or 1 moa? I was under the impression that moa is measured at 100yards?
lawd have mercy all these years later and you people are still commenting this LOL 1/2 inch at 50 yards is considered moa for 22

my last 556 can from paperwork filed to pickup was 13 hours
So your complaint is about an aftermarket trigger? That has nothing to do with the gun. That’s no psa’s fault bud
ok BUD, boss hass, chief.
Interesting video, thanks for posting it.
thanks for the feedback!
Is this at 50 or 100?
JFC the older the comments the dumber you people get
@coreyd1474 you like baby gravy huh? Instead of being a turd, you could post 50, or 100. But nope. You doubled down on being a turd. Makes total sence.
BCA isn’t an upgrade. Jk I shot sub moa at 100 with a bca 16” heavy Federal fusion 120 grain
until they heat up then they're shit.
I tried about 25 different types out of my 457. I must admit I was hoping for better also but my results weren't quite so bad. I imagine you sold it by now.
oh you better not say that out loud. the CZ fan bois will be all over you. hitting you with a barrage of comments about action torque screw settings and how you just suck as a shooter LOL
America has never been great.MAGA Make America Germany Again

Didn't notice... but were Armscor 22LR ammo available for testing? Standard, subsonic, or HV?
i don't think i had any
I know this is an old post now so don't know if anyone has commented on it but the "flyers" you are getting - other than if it was a cold bore shot, is probably due to change of bullet lube. If you go from a parafin wax type to an oil based type you might want a round or three befoe it settles back down.. wish we could get this sort of assortment here in the UK, its abismal here. The gun trade should be ashamed of themselves.
the availability has come back here but prices have not came back down. nor will the ever
U do fouling shots in between groups? U shot a cloverleaf on that Eley stuff. I bet the lube they put on their boolits coated ur barrel and then the group tightened after. Fouling shots matter
back then not really but the more i learned about it yes. going from like ammo from lets say sk std plus to cx you won't need many maybe ~5 since they're pretty similar but going from a non coated bullet to something like cx you're gonna want ~10-15 fouling rounds yes.
