Dude I’m so happy for you!!! I was following you and felt so bad about your horrible time with rim x. I bought the exact rifle. I followed Mike bush’s break in procedure. I was getting similar groups. The fit and finish was exceptionally good. I took a chance and glass bedded the greyboe stock. I think it does shoot better!!! Congrats. I really want to send it to lapua testing. Thank you for posting the ammo results. Helps me so much. Again congrats and welcome back !!!
@@coreyd1474 I’ve just bedded every rifle I have. I didn’t for a long time. It shot so well. But I was watching the bench rest Vudoo. They bed. When testing I really believe my groups were smaller. 100 yes of course
Congratulations on the new rifle. I will never forget when a old gunsmith told me with custom rifles comes custom problems. Like you I have gotten so frustrated with high end guns not working correctly. Anyhow I’m glad you moved on and it worked out.
Honestly can’t say. I’ve been working out of town for the past several months and haven’t had a chance to shoot it. I bought the barreled action that has a 20” Kukri profile, a MDT XRS chassis, trigger tech special 2 stage and a leupold mark 5HD 5-25. I’ll get it put together and shoot it Xmas weekend and I’ll let you know.

Hey Corey, glad to see you back. My B14R is working out really well, just ordered a Triggertech Special for it but for now I can’t think of any more changes I’ll make with it. Some of my buddies sit down behind it shooting the KYL targets and can’t believe how well it shoots. It is a work in progress finding ammo it likes but it’s very forgiving as long as you stay away from the higher velocity stuff. My favorite so far is the GECO match and you can’t find it anymore. Thanks for the videos
having owned and shot both i would save the money and buy the bergara IF you are on a budget. if not the vudoo hands down. its been 100% for me through several matches.
Glad to hear your new Vudoo is working well for you; it's a good shooter, congratulations. I remember the problems you had with the RmX and didn't blame you for being upset with it.
thank you! i am very pleased with it so far! only one complaint as of yet. the 15 round aluminum mags dont feed when up againts a barricade. but the 10 round mags do. other than that it runs perfect.
@@coreyd1474 Isn't that an Area 419 ARCA rail with a fixed barricade stop in front of your rifle in the still picture? Wouldn't that help with keeping your magazine away from a barricade?
@@Sagittariustoo it is but it doesn't extend down very far. the problem you run in to is its not the barricade itself that pushed on the mag its more of your support bag.

@@coreyd1474 I've ways been trying to find which ammo shoots the best with cheapest ammo. Did you ever have a Tika T1x ? That was my first bolt gun after doing lots deciding between CZ AND THAT. yea me too. really curious to see if it stays true to its moa rating. but like i said in the video going to be tough finding a nice day. its 730 a here now and already super windy
well to be honest thats not exactly apples to apples. the cz is great in its own right i shoot with a lot of people who have some flavor of cz and they're pretty good. but if you can spend the money the vudoo is most definitely on another level. which model you going to go with?
@@coreyd1474 were talking cz 457 which I think is a great bang for buck but….. they shoot lights out for sure but I want something diff then my friends have
GREAT question, thank you. there is no doubt the quality/accuracy is better with the vudoo. but the real question is is it 1.5x the money better? the answer is absolutely not. if you are in anyway on the fence between the two and money is an issue, save the money and go with the bergara and invest the extra saved money in accessories and ammo. if money is no object go with the vudoo. simple as that.
Glad to see you back! Do you still have the Rim-X? I got a Vudoo 360 because of the horror stories I've heard about Rim-X. About the only ammo that gave me any issue was Eley Match. It would occasionally get stuck in the chamber on hot days and one time I dropped 5-10 spots at a match of 90 people because of it. Found out if I clean the chamber pretty much after every match it wouldn't stick. Other than Eley Match being a pain in my ass and getting the mag height right(my fault for getting a barreled action) it's been a champ. Also check out bullet central and sign up for the notify when in-stock. Their prices are fair and they ship quick.
thank you! no way i couldn't take the headache so i parted it out and sold it. i have had and have seen others have issue with eley as well. mostly it not going off when its stuck by the firing pin. even 10x, which should never happen given the price. i stick to flavors of sk for that reason.
eh thats a tough question. vandalia range and armory has a fairly large selection. but if i'm buying a gun its usually either off the internet or vances on cleveland avenue in columbus.
i don't have it i sold it to a guy i know. i mean they don't really compare. the action on the tikka was nice and it shot pretty well but thats about it. two totally different animals. if you're money conscience definitely go with the tikka for sure.
@@crowestuff if you want my total honest option NO 22 should cost more than 1k. the added features you get and the added accuracy in NO way is worth 4x the price of the tikka. my only two gripes with the tikka is its god awful factory stock and after so many rounds the extraction system wears out. having said that my vudoo is rock solid. shoots well and has no issues. if you want to flex for the gram buy a vudoo. if you want to have money in your bank account keep the tikka LOL
