Ahsoka Tano is a Togruta. Their montrals and lekku are a part of them, not a hat or hair. 😅 The montrals (horned protrusions on top of their head) enhance their senses, heightening perception.

If you like Ewan McGregor, I will suggest some of my favorite movies with him, as he is one of my favorite actors.. First of all, my favorite movie of all time : Moulin Rouge. It came out just before Attack of The Clones. It's a musical with Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman as leads. They both have beautiful voices and the movie is amazing. The director is Baz Luhrmann so it's completely crazy but many people adore this movie, including me. Don't watch the trailer though, cause it doesn't show at all what the movie is about. Plus, if you watch it, you will see a nice easter egg in the Clone Wars in a future season. The Impossible with Ewan, Tom Holland (his very first movie) and Naomie Watts. It came out in 2012 and it's a true story about the 2004 boxing day tsunami. Prepare the tissus. Trainspotting. It came out in 1996 and is one of Ewan's most praised movie. It's about drug addiction. Big Fish from Tim Burton : came out in 2003. I'd say it's a typical Tim Burton movie. The Island with Scarlett Johansson and Sean Bean. Came out in 2005. Don't watch the trailer to not spoil yourself !! It's from Michael Bay so it's all action but I love Scarlett as well so it's a movie with both lead actors I love, it has a special place in my heart. Down with Love, came out in 2003, with Renée Zellweger. It's a romantic comedy, it's very original and it's very funny. I love you Phillip Morris, came out in 2009. It's a true story, about Steven Russel (Jim Carrey), a con man, who falls in love with Phillip Morris (Ewan) in prison. It's funny.

I love your reactions, Jesse! I'm so glad to be here for your intro to Ahsoka. I think you'll enjoy her journey. My vote for the sequel movies: Yes! So many who react to Star Wars ignore those because of how it divided the fans. I say, watch and form your own opinion. Like or not, YOURS is one I'd love to hear! Also, if I may make a request for some future merch. You totally need to make a shirt that says "NICE," and under that, a smaller "nice-nice-nice." I applaud in agreement every time you say that! When Anakin and Padme got married, they exchanged R2 and 3PO with each other as wedding gifts.

Yoda being aware of Anakin's attachment issues is in reference to what happened in the second film. Anakin told Obi-Wan and Yoda about his mother dying (not the massacre), and Yoda did sense Anakin's emotions when she died, so he knows Anakin needs some help. Anakin hypothetically training/raising Ahsoka, then her being Knighted and becoming independent would allow Anakin to experience a natural form of letting go, like a parent, and how to cope with that.

Great reaction, Man. I saw this in the theaters, in August 2008, and, it was fun to watch. I'd do it again, if I could. BTW: Rotta The Hutt will live for quite some time...he will be appearing for the first time in live-action in, The Mandalorian & Grogu. My hope is he's got a better disposition that his Father, considering 2 Jedi saved his life, when he was just a Huttlet.

You'll notice that, as time goes on, the animation just keeps getting better and better. 7:10 - Ahsoka is, I believe, about 14 here. Ironically, the same age Padme was when she met Anakin for the first time. 7:45 - They are called "Laku". Basically, "head tails". All Togruta (her species) have them. They are part of her head, like the "head tails" that Twi'leks have, but a little different. 10:10 - Yoda actually has an "ulterior motive" by pairing Ahsoka up with Anakin. Sooner or later, every teacher must "let go" of their student and allow them to progress on their own. Yoda wants Anakin to learn to "let go" of those he is attached to, which is something Anakin has always struggled with. Yoda and Obi-Wan both strongly suspect that Anakin is in a relationship with Padme at this point in time. While it's not openly discussed, both of them realize that Anakin's attachment COULD leave him vulnerable to the Dark Side. But, if Anakin can adapt to teaching Ahsoka, and himself learn to "let her go" when she's advanced enough in her training.... he may be able to cope better should something happen to Padme. 15:30 - Jesse, what I'm about to say could be considered a "VERY MINOR" spoiler, but it's more "real-life fandom" related than anything else. Ahsoka wasn't very well liked when first introduced. However, she had to overcome failures and go from being that "annoying kid sister" kind of character, in order to grow into one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars. It's a character development that was very well earned, which is why she is pretty much universally loved by almost every SW fan that watched her grow over time. I was actually "late" to watch the series, as I was under the impression that the animated shows were "for kids". Boy was **I** ever wrong on that! I do have to admit that, of all the animated shows, "Rebels" is my personal favorite. But I will still watch Clone Wars and The Bad Batch anytime I can. Also, just a "name drop"... but C1-10P (aka "Chopper") is my favorite droid in all of Star Wars. Bar none. 19:40 - And there it is. Yoda straight up saying it out loud. 26:10 - Heh... you were a bit busy trying to make sure you got her name right ("Ah-Soak-Uh" is how it's pronounced), that I'm not sure you missed Anakin's nick-name for her...... "Snips", which is short for "Snippy". 38:00 - I just remembered something I don't think I mentioned before: Anakin's "Clone group" is called the 501st Legion. A name was used to create a Cosplay Organization that buys their own sets of armour, goes to conventions and even does a lot of charity work. They also do appearances at theaters whenever a new Star Wars movie opens in theaters. You can Google the group, and find out ahead of time when/where some of them will be appearing. They are actually quite meticulous with making sure that their armour is "movie accurate", no matter what kind it is (Stormtrooper (any version), Clone Trooper (any version), Mandalorian, Darth Vader, Imperial Officers, whatever). I subscribe to follow your Clone Wars journey. I just finished watching it for the first time and I'm not ready to let go yet. It was awesome. Obi-Wan has always been my favorite character and I love him even more now. And I also loved Anakin and Ahsoka in this serie. Both were amazing characters. There are tons of other greats characters but I won't spoil it for you. I can't wait for you to experience it.

It's funny you said "do as i say not as i do" because that's exactly what Obi-Wan tells Anakin about his way of teaching in a future episode.

FYI, it's fine if like calling Obi-Wan Kenobi "Ben" in your reactions. Just know that "Ben" is the alias name he uses during his years on Tatooine leading up to the "A New Hope" movie. Again, your choice to call him whatever, just know it's not his real name at all. 😉

The Clone Wars is essentially the last piece of the George Lucas canon, as it was the final thing he worked on before the Disney buyout.

Ventress' mind trick on Rex failed, so he used it as an opening to warn Anakin. Ventress: "You will contact Skywalker now." Rex: "I will contact Skywalker now. Anakin, where are you?" Anakin: "That doesn't sound like Rex... Ventress!"

Ahsoka Tano is one of my all-time favorite sci-fi characters. (though I don't consider the live-action stuff canon) I thought she was cute and spunky in this movie. She does get some much-needed experience and humbling as time goes on.

Best way to explain the Ventress situation: The Republic believes Dooku is lying about Sidious, and think he is the Sith Master. Training Ventress as his Apprentice allows Dooku to make the Republic believe their theory is correct. When talking with Sidious, Dooku treats Ventress as merely an assassin, though Sidious knows the truth but does nothing since Ventress isn't a threat.

When the war began, Anakin was partnered with Rex amongst the Clones, following Obi-Wan's orders. Anakin and Rex soon became partners in crime on the battlefield, thus Anakin appointed Rex as Captain once Anakin was Knighted and placed in charge of the 501st. Best image to picture is Padawan Anakin, a small glove under his sleeve covering his cybernetic hand, and Rex as a normal Clone Trooper, but with some blue stripes on his armor.

The Clone War itself takes place over 3 years. The beginning of the series takes place just a few months into the war, so Anakin's hair is starting to grow out since he was recently Knighted.
