Hey everyone, thank you so much for watching! Please consider subscribing to the channel. I've been day dreaming about these characters having a different outcome because they were so likeable and well written. Although I would've loved to see more stories with these characters, there's always that possibility that they could've been ruined in future films. I'm working on the Patreon where you'll be able to access The Clone Wars episodes for free. I won't have all 130+ episodes, but I will have the ones ranked highest and fan favorites available. I'll give you more updates on that soon. Thank you all so much! May the force be with you :)
So go watch the Andor series then. There is even a season 2 on its way. Gilroy is the common denominator for both of them, so I usually give the credit for the success of Andor and Rogue One to him. I wouldn't recommend any of the other Disney stuff but The Clone Wars is definitely the correct starting point for it. I prefer the miniseries from 2003, myself.
You can definitely see more with some of these characters, particularly Cassian, Mon Mothma and Saw Guerera on the live action TV series Andor. Season 1 is out on Disney+, Season 2 expected sometime middle of next year. It is some of the best Star Wars in the Disney Era. Like Rogue One, it's gritty with great characters and dialogue. Highly recommend and I'd love to see your reaction to it.
When you realize, the sacrifice Rogue One made for a glimpse of Hope for the Rebellion... That last scene with Vader and Leia linking this movie to the original trilogy is just beautiful.
In the rebel attack to Scarif, the Red Five pilot died trying to enter in the base. The rebellion chose later a new red five pilot... Luke Skywalker as we witnesses in episode IV and the following. For me, this is one of the best Star Wars films ever. The whole film is incredible: complex characters, narration... and the last fifteen minutes a brutal rollercoaster. Darth Vader here show us how terrific, cruel and evil he could be.
The show Andor is about Cassian before Rogue One, and is some of the very best Star Wars content, in my opinion. The show is gritty, gripping, and really amazing. So many great characters. Such great writing and dialog. Definitely worth watching.
Darth Vader´s dark tower it´s in Mustafar. The same planet where Obi Wan defeated him leaving limbless and burned. Those angry memories helped him to become stronger.
Chirrut's walk through blaster fire to the master switch and his chanting of "I am one with the force..." is echoed in my mind when i watch 3P0 and R2 calmly stroll across the hallway full of laser bolts in the opening of A New Hope. His Spirit lives on!
lol your face when vader is coming out of the bacta chamber is priceless!! this movie give so much more weight to the importance of the plans in ep.4. i would recommend watching obi wan series, while ep3 is still fresh in your head, then maybe mando series for pure badass.
@wyndonpendergraft He did for one guy. If he used the Force to knock everyone to the wall, then we would have seen that and be would have gotten the plans. Instead, he took his time to do an unnecessary dramatic entry and slowly walked in with no sense of urgency. He's incompetent.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story- Thank you very much for such a fun reaction to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Jessie! I'm happy you enjoyed this movie! I absolutely love this movie!!! And I consider it to be one of my absolute favorites out of all the Star Wars movies, tied of course with the Original Trilogy movies, which are set within the same time period in which Rogue One is also set. I love how this movie brilliantly shows us why this movie ends when and where it does, just where Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope begins. I absolutely love this movie's overall theme of hope. "Rebellions are built on hope", as is spoken by first Cassian to Jyn early on within this movie, then much later by Jyn to the Rebel Alliance and Council. Too true. I absolutely love, love, love just how brilliantly and beautifully this movie connects to Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, and love that this movie is set directly before the events of A New Hope. If you carefully read the Star Wars scroll at the beginning of A New Hope when you might watch A New Hope again, the scroll explains that a small band of rebels fights against the Empire to get the Death Star plans for the Rebel Alliance so they can destroy the Death Star. These words from this scroll, is where this whole overarching idea for this movie comes from. This is the story that Rogue One's director, Gareth Edwards, and its writer, Tony Gilroy, wanted to tell. And it is absolutely phenomenal! Because without this small band of rebels going against the Alliance Council's orders... Without their sacrifices... Not only would the original trilogy be unable to exist, but the Rebellion would have failed, and the entire Rebellion would have all likely been killed, or the Rebellion would have disbanded and would have given up their fight against the Empire. Like the Rebel Council discuss in their meeting near the end of this movie. Most of them were ready to quit their fight, except for a few, including Mon Mothma (the red haired lady in white robes at the head of the Council) and Bail Organa (Princess Leia's adopted father). And the Empire tragically would have won. Each member of Rogue One are heroes by their own merits because they bring hope back to the Rebellion, and fight and die to make sure that the Alliance do not give up their fight against the Empire like they want to out of fear of the Empire's strength and power. Rogue One sacrifice everything, including their very lives. These rebels most certainly deserve to have a movie that honors them. I love that this movie has been created so that it can introduce us to a new group of Rebels within the Alliance who are all striving to find any information about the Empire that will help them to prevent the Empire's deadly plans to take over the entire Galaxy. I absolutely love this movie's overall story arcs for each of its characters and the movie's overall plot. Especially in regards to the rebels and how they enlist Jyn Erso to help them find her father, the lead designer and builder of the Death Star, forced to do so against his will. I really love that Galen Erso creates a trap within the Death Star, which is what allows for Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia to defeat the Empire in their big battle in A New Hope. Most of all… I love how this small group of rebels within the Alliance goes against word of the Council when they refuse to rise against the Empire out of fear, as this band that comes to be known as Rogue One, invades the Imperial base where the plans for the Death Star are hidden. Unfortunately and tragically, each member of Rogue One dies, including each of our main characters, who sacrifice everything for the Alliance so that they could cripple the Empire. And don't they ever succeed!! I absolutely love it!!! I know that there are a lot of Star Wars fans out there who have said they can't connect much, or if at all, with these characters because they are only in this one movie, and because they are unknown to us before this movie was created. However, I do connect to them. I can absolutely connect with each of them. Especially Cassian and Jyn. I love each of them, because I admire their bravery for fighting against the Empire against all odds, as well as their own side to do what's right. And I just really, love their characters so much! As for the new and main characters... I really enjoy Jyn Erso, Chirrut, Baze, Bodhi, and even Saw Guerra very much. And I enjoy a number of all the other new characters created for this movie, as well as love seeing a number of old beloved characters from the original and prequel trilogies such as Darth Vader, Bail Organa (Leia's adopted father who was introduced to us back in Episode II: The Attack of the Clones and mostly in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith), Princess Leia, Governor Tarkin (first introduced to us in Episode IV: A New Hope), R2-D2 and C3-PO, and Mon Mothma (first introduced to us in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi). However, my overall favorite of the new characters are absolutely Cassian Andor, the intelligence officer who brings the Alliance news of the "planet killer" and who fights alongside Jyn to steal the plans, as well as K-2S0. I love what little we learn about why Cassian is a fighter within the Alliance, as he reveals to Jyn he has been in this fight since he was six years old, after he too has lost everything. You can see that he is a rebel with a fragile heart. A rebel who is forced to do unspeakable things on behalf of the Alliance in order to help take down the Empire and save the galaxy. Unspeakable things including assassinations, among other things. And we can see from this movie from the emotions we see on Cassian's face throughout this movie, that he hates himself for having to kill in order to collect the information he's collected over the years for the Rebellion. Which is what Chirrut's line he says while they're imprisoned by Saw Guerra's men, about how he senses Cassian carries his prison around with him wherever he goes, means. Chirrut's most certainly right. Cassian has had to commit the heinous acts out of necessity. And he carries the burden of guilt around with him constantly. Guilt that he can't shake off. And it's heartbreaking. I love the complexities within his character. I wish we could have learned more about Cassian Andor in this movie, and how he came to work with K-2S0. Thankfully, we now have his own spinoff show, titled... Andor, so that we can learn so much more about him. And I absolutely love it!! I love Mexican actor... Diego Luna, who plays Cassian Andor as well. I have seen him in a number of movies including The Terminal, Open Range, Criminal, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, the remake of an 80's movie... Flatliners, Elysium, The Book of Life, and Vampires: Los Muertos. He's an absolutely fantastic, brilliant actor in a number of movies I've seen him in! And now he even has his own show where he has taken up the role of Cassian Andor once more! Once again, he is absolutely phenomenal!! :) Jyn Erso of course is also amazing, as the daughter of Galen Erso and the newest rebel after the death of her father. I love her determination to avenge her father and mother, and to complete the mission her father had set out to do, for him. In regards to Cassian's and Jyn's relationship... They never are romantically involved, mostly because they never had the chance to grow that much closer than they had before they are both tragically killed in the ending of this movie, by the Death Star itself. Quite the poetic ending for them both. However, Cassian and Jyn most definitely come to feel a very deep respect for one another, and they grow close in such a short amount of time. I would have loved to see them survive, if only just so we could have had the chance to see their relationship/friendship, and possible romance evolve. But with this being said... Their deaths are heartbreaking and beautiful. I love their final moments when Cassian comes back to save Jyn in spite of having been severely injured a short time earlier, when he shoots Director Krennic before he can kill her, and so that Jyn won't become a murderer by having to kill him. A murderer in all the ways he himself has become in the name of the Rebellion. Though he is most certainly not a monster. He's much like John Reese in Person of Interest, as they both fight and are willing to do the ugly things that comes with fighting a war against the real enemies in their worlds. I think this is why I love Cassian so much, because he is just like John Reese in Person of Interest. Also... I love the brief moments between Cassian and Jyn in the ending as they look into each other's eyes, and I love how Cassian reaches out to take Jyn's hand as the blast from the Death Star is approaching them, as Cassian tells Jyn that her father would be proud of her. Such a beautiful and heartbreaking moment, as they finally embrace one another and are killed by the blast from the Death Star. So heartbreaking, and yet so beautiful and heartfelt.
Man I would love it if there were some bloopers where the actors are improvising and Anakin is just throwing zingers, and we just see the actors break character and just start to laugh 😂
It may have already been said, but that slap you love so much from K2SO was actually improvised by the actor playing him (Alan Tudak) and it caught Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) by such surprise that he had to cover his mouth....because he was smiling and laughing.
Now we need the rest of the new movies ❤ don’t let people saying they are bad make u not react to them have ur own opinion DONT LISTEN TO THE GATE KEEPERS
To me, this is for sure one of the greatest Star Wars films ever made!! It has so much in it to enjoy, a great story line, enough action in it, new characters to enjoy, plus some original characters, plus the ultimate character, Vader!! Great reaction bro.
When Mon Mothma asks Bail Organa about the hidden jedi, it´s referring to Obi Wan Kenobi. And when he said "I would trust her with my life" he is talking about Princess Leia, his adoptive daughter. He arranged the plan to bring the plans to Obi Wan through Leia.
Your reaction was well worth the wait! There were moments where I got chills watching along with you. You make being a reactor so much fun. For me, Rogue One is absolute perfection from the cast, the director, the script, and the composer. K-2S0 is such a gem of a character. Alan Tudyk was marvelous in the role, which he performed via motion capture on stilts. The droid’s sarcasm is reminiscent of HK-47 from the Knights of the Old Republic game. Several of K2’s lines were improvised by Tudyk. Also improvised was Donnie Yen's, "Are you kidding me? I'm blind!" Darth Vader’s castle was an idea that stretched all the way back to the earliest draft of The Empire Strikes Back. It was beyond cool to finally see it realized on screen. Marvel's Darth Vader comic book series goes into more detail for the reason why he chose to build the structure on Mustafar. I haven’t read the other comments, so I hope I’m not repeating anything someone else has said. This particular Star Wars movie had extensive reshoots that rivaled those for Attack of the Clones. Indeed, the now iconic Darth Vader hallway scene was a last-minute addition. Originally, Jyn and Cassian’s fight to transmit the Death Star plans was a longer sequence in which they had to reach a second tower. Although the deleted sequences have never been released, some of these scenes are preserved in the Rogue One trailers, along with a cut shot of Darth Vader aboard the Death Star. Gareth Edwards initially believed Lucasfilm and Disney would not allow him to show the true horrors of war by killing off this story’s heroes. Much to his surprise, however, he was given the green light to do so. Seeing Rogue One in the movie theatre was an incredible experience. Although the CGI recreation of Peter Cushing has come under fire of late, there was an audible gasp from the audience when Grand Moff Tarkin first appeared. With the film being released shortly after Carrie Fisher’s passing, seeing Leia again at the end left me in tears. Carrie was shown the clip before her death, and she was delighted. Thank you again for the wonderful reaction! PS I think you will really enjoy the Andor TV series.
It's so weird you say that because that's exactly what popped into my head while watching that moment. I'm glad you enjoyed the reactions, and thank you so much for watching and commenting! :)
The hallway scene with Darth Vader is my very favorite moment in the whole Star Wars saga. Interestingly, the rebel who pulls the lever to launch the ship is none other than director Gareth Edwards himself.
This film is basically the story of the crawl at the beginning of episode IV. I consider this the best of all the Star Wars films, even "The Empire Strikes Back"!
Also, if you would like to get to know Rebel Hero, Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, a bit more than the man we get to know here within Rogue One: A Star Wars Story... There is a fairly new Star Wars show that's come out on Disney Plus, titled... Andor. A show that is dedicated to Cassian Andor. So far, only season one has been released, and there are a total of twelve episodes for this season. Season two will be coming out as well, with twelve more episodes, which will be released sometime next year. Andor has so far been a phenomenal show, that holds true to what we love about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and we get to know who Cassian Andor is, and who he was back before he ever joined the Rebellion. If you're interested in watching it, and if you ever can find time to add a new show to your other movies you are reacting to for us, I would absolutely love to see you come to react to this incredible show!! I highly, highly recommend it! Andor for me, is by far the best out of all the Star Wars shows released on Disney Plus. I absolutely love it!! :) Heidi
Yeah, I recommended Andor too. Andy and Stellan brought some of the best performances in the whole franchise. And Luthen in particular is almost as interesting and complex as good old Sheevy himself. Absolutely brilliant.
Great film, and you should definitely check out the prequel series Andor. Cassian’s backstory is complex and moving. The gritty realism comes with excellent writing too.
I'll definitely be checking out the Andor series :) I think my first series might be the Obi Wan series, but I'll have to check the list again and get that organized. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
This movie has some extremely subtle references to the animated series, Star Wars: Rebels. Assuming your Star Wars journey will continue for a long time, that show is what you'll watch after you're done with the Clone Wars. Personally, I think the Clone Wars is better overall, but Rebels has better specific moments in it, and I know you'll enjoy it too
The destruction they witness of the death star is only because of the single reactor firing. When they use all power to destroy a whole planet it's more instantaneous, like a balloon pop. I loved your reaction to galens message to jyn. You seem to do the same thing I do when I watch movies. You put yourself in the position of the characters, which makes you feel the scene more emotionally. Great stuff man!
Jesse, the interesting thing is: Just before this film was released, there was a prequel novel called, Catalyst, that took place during the years of the tail end of The Clone Wars, then during the height of The Galactic Empire...it depicts the characters of Galen, Lyra, Krennic, Jyn, and some of the characters from The PT and The OT (inc. the flashbacks in this movie). Lyra is a Force-sensitive; though, she can only feel its existence, not wield it. She revered The Jedi, and met Yoda once, when she was 8 years old, on Coruscant, and he confirmed her connection to The Force. She knew there was something OFF about The Clone Wars, The Jedi Purge, and the creation of The Empire. Director Orson Krennic shows up in multiple SW projects, inc. The Bad Batch (Animated) and Andor (live-action) The planet, Jedha, known as The Pilgrim Moon, has a long history in The SWU...The High Republic Era (so far, depicted in books, comics, Animation, and video games) has significant events that take place on the planet. Great reaction, Jesse. May The Force Be With You.
The Deathstar when firing on Jedha city is only using a single reactor shot. In the original New Hope when it destroyed Allderaan it used all 8 reactors to destroy the entire planet. Finally showing its maximum potential.
At some point, I'm going to make a ranking video of my favorite characters, and I'm sure a few from this film will rank highly. Such amazing characters, that made a huge impact in just one film
Concerning Saw Gerrera... First, the accent Mon Mothma was using made it sound like "Saul"... (legacy character...rebel lady in white robes is a Senator and sympathizer as well, turned rebel leader after the Senate was disbanded in A New Hope... she's the one that led the rebel briefing in Return of the Jedi). Saw Gerrera was first introduced in the animated The Clone Wars series, season 5, along with his sister Steela. They werenlocal rebels trying to free their planet from the Separatists (droid armies in the prequel trilogy). Obiwan and Anakin teamed up with them to help them, but during it Steela got dead. Saw was always an extremist and a bit paranoid... Steela was the brains and tactician and politician. Blaming the Jedi for Steela's death, Saw never really sided with the Republic. After the Republic became the Empire, Saw continued his fight against the Republic and without Steela's cool-headed wisdom became more and more paranoid and more and more extreme. Rogue One's depiction of Saw and his band was true to form.
Man, the Andor show is soooo good dude. After season 2 comes out is gonna be the greatest Star Wars content. It's supposed to go right into this movie.
Never saw the point of it though. Why did we need to know more about this dude? Just another waste of a show to do. Not everything and every character need to have their backstory explored.
@@devontehuntley6274 I agree with the sentiment. I wish they did new stories too, but that definitely doesn’t mean the show is pointless. Andor is HBO level epic and it explores how ruthless the empire is. Plus, it’s doing to Rogue One what clone wars did to the prequels, elevating it and fleshing it out.
Your reaction was worth the wait!! Very honest and emotional. Made me tear up all over again. You'll have to check out Andor, season one. Cassian back story Very gritty and darker.
Thank you so much Joel! I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend! I had to watch it again yesterday and enjoyed it even more :) I'm definitely putting Andor on my list of tv series to check out. Thanks for the recommendation!
@jessebatres6895 that's awesome buddy! I love it! I had to watch reaction again 😂 Thanks for being honest, emotional, and transparent. We need more of that now. I'm preparing for hurricane milton. In Naples Florida. But your reactions are are distraction from the destruction that's coming. 😥😞
As for the appearances from the characters we've loved since the original Star Wars movies... I am pleasantly surprised that we get to see so many. And sadly, a number of the actors who played some of them have passed away since the original movies. Now tragically including James Earl Jones, the incredible voice of Darth Vader. And Princess Leia makes a very brief appearance in the very end as Carrie Fisher offers her voice for a single line and word... "Hope". Sadly, Carrie Fisher died the very year this movie was released in theaters in 2016, just a few weeks after it is released in theaters. The night after Christmas. However, I love that through CGI, we are able to see Leia just as she was back in 1977. Another character from A New Hope we see here in Rogue One, whose actor also passed away long ago, is Governor Tarkin played by Peter Cushing. We see Governor Tarkin's role in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. But from this movie and A New Hope, we see that his character was very essential to the building of the Death Star, so it makes sense that this movie's creators would find a way to make Tarkin a part of this movie as well. As for bringing Governor Tarkin back to life again despite his original actor having passed on... He too was all done through CGI and voiced by a different actor who was able to mimic Peter Cushing's voice, given that Cushing had died not long after the original Star Wars back in 1977. His CG-I isn't the greatest, but I still really love his overall character for being the snake and villain that he is, and I love seeing him brought back for this movie. We also get to see a brief cameo appearance from both R2-D2 and C3-P0, which I love. And I absolutely love that Mon Mothma, the Alliance Council's leader and Senator wearing all white from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (played by a different actress back then) is brought back. In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Mon Mothma is played by actress, Genevieve O'Reilly, and in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, she is played by Caroline Blakiston. And we also see Leia's adopted father, Senator Bail Organa from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, as he too is a member of the Alliance Council. I love seeing them again!! And another moment I love... I really love the brief scene between Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, as they talk about enlisting Obi Wan Kenobi, first introduced to us back in the Prequels Trilogy starting in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, for their battle ahead, and knowing the one person he absolutely trusts to seek Obi Wan out is his own daughter, Leia. Bail also talks to Mon Mothma about needing to return home so he can warn his people of the threat of the Empire. Home to Alderaan, which is tragically the planet that is destroyed in A New Hope. And because we know this, we know that Bail Organa is sadly killed as well. And last but not least... We have Darth Vader himself. I absolutely love seeing him brought back for this movie! And wow!!!! I especially love the moment when he steps onto the Alliance ship during the major space battle in the end, then completely wipes out the soldiers in order to try to get back the plans before the Alliance can use them to destroy all of the Empire's hard work. This scene is absolutely gut wrenching, amazing, and so dark. I love it! Even though my stomach twists in knots as Vader kills all of these good men. It's tragic, and just an amazing scene. I also love getting to see the lava planet where Vader resides on, shown in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith... Mustafar. Overall... I absolutely love this movie and its incredible characters!! And once again, I am so grateful to you for your reaction for it. So, thank you once again, my dear friend! Sincerely, Heidi
As a fan since 1977 (16 years old), I had to wait a very long time until another Star Wars film of this quality was released in cinemas. Those who expected these typical happy endings were fortunately disappointed. No one who suddenly reappears in an obscure way. Dead is death and that is what war is called. To everyone who was of the opinion that Anakin is somehow still your dear, nice Prince Charming and was certainly forced into his actions, you should now slowly realize that that was/is a massive mistake. This is Darth Vader in its purest form. The only thing missing are invitations from the Nazis and the KGB. It had to be a Disney Film coming to save the reputation An excellent film with excellent actors
Thanks, Jesse! 💥 When you get around to the ANDOR series, you'll reach new heights of character development for at least four characters you saw in this movie (plus a minor one from A NEW HOPE)... maybe a sixth or more judging by teasers for Season 2.
Team Jedi forever ♾️ ✌🏽💪🏽👍💯 this was a great reaction long live the rebel alliance I study the force in real life it’s real May the force be with you 🌘
Your reaction to Tarkin was pretty good. Yes, it did look odd. Peter Cushing was YEARS dead by this, so thats a cgi overlay over another actor... and it was a bit off.
A couple of things - yes, another great reason to watch your reactions: the surprise entrance of Vader in all his glory: emerging as a shadow that engulfs Krennic, and then walking across the room getting bigger as he comes. As if that wasn't awesome enough, the corridor scene had the audience going nuts for getting what we have aways really wanted: Vader unleashed. ... as a special treat that not everyone notices at first, when Vader is tearing strips off Krennic, he is totally doing it in Anakin's sassy snark. So it reminds you of who it is that is IN the suit. "MY APOLOGIES!" is something you could imagine Anakin saying! - Cassian's cynical droid is a reprogrammed Imperial security droid. You see another on Jedda and they have the imperial symbol on their arms - the two thugs on Jedda who run into the heroes are the same guys from Episode 4 who try and scare Luke - the one that Obi Wan pulls a saber on. They EVEN use the same dialogue "we're wanted men!" - Red Leader and Gold Leader in the Scarif orbit battle are the same guys from episode 4 - Something else that not everyone notices. Both times that the Death Star fires in this film, you see Tarkin give the order 'single reactor only' - and it's still deadly. That isn't a full test, because in episode 4 you might remember Tarkin giving the order to blow up Alderaan, and the controllers acknowledge 'commence _binary_ ignition' - I liked that you noticed that the Scarif facility was beautiful, and the beach scenes were filmed in the Maldives. Yet another example of the empire confiscating anything that is beautiful and turning it ugly. Also, you were correct about the walkers - what we have seen before are troop transporters, but these are cargo transports (you can see the big palates loaded into the bodies of the walkers from the side) - gotta love Ben Mendelson (fellow Aussie!) as Krennic. I absolutely love when he walks into the Scarif base and orders everything up for inspection. When they look at him blankly, Krennic (who has had a really terrible few days) is all like "get STARTED!" and everyone jumps to attention! - Once again, non-memory-wiped R2 REALLY has seen everything!
@@andymiller6661 That isn't something I was trying to suggest, so if the emphasis is yours (which it looks like it is), I am happy to read your reasons why
@gasaholic47 He did everything but that. Unnecessary dramatic entry. Spinning a guy on the ceiling. Etc. Instead of just moving with a sense of urgency and using the Force to knock everyone to the ground or floor
If you're gonna watch all this disney stuff, I would also suggest you reading the Star Wars Expanded Universe material that disney destroyed or erased just to make films like this. Check out the story from the Star Wars: Dark Forces game and the rest of the DF storyline in order to see how the Death Star plans were really stolen and delivered to the Rebel Alliance. There's a whole lot of Star Wars Expanded Universe material (superior material, if you ask me) out there that disney just wiped their asses with, espeically since they didn't create it in any way shape or form, that wipes the floor with their poor man's copy stuff. Don't just settle for what disney gives you with the "star wars" name, lazily taped on it.
Through watching all your Star Wars films reaction videos... I was waiting for you to watch THIS ONE. It truly is tied with EMPIRE for the best Star Wars film of all time. Now I can't wait for you to watch the next best thing.... The Mandalorian - Seasons 1& 2. Those two seasons of that show were Star Wars glory and in some ways totally different from Rogue One because The Mandalorian is a lot of FUN and very cool. You will completely enjoy that show and the many hours of entertainment it provides.
I think this movie really puts the “war” in star wars. Shootouts, infiltration, explosions. Risk, sacrifices, death. Explores all the different views and perspectives in a galaxy-wide conflict. Has great characters and great dialogue. Absolutely love this one
Ah, dammit... I can't add a reply to my initial post.... here's part 2: 33:30 - Have you ever heard of a "Dyson Sphere"? While the Death Star IS impressive from an engineering standpoint, a Dyson Sphere is even MORE impressive. It's basically similar to the Death Star (without the destructive potential), where an inhabitable structure is built literally around a star, at the distance of the "habitable zone" (basically, where Earth and Mars are around our sun (called Sol). It collects the radiated energy given off by the star it surrounds, and can power the entire construct. The Star Trek: Next Generation episode titled "Relics" touched on that topic. But just imagine the amount of resources and time it would take to build such a thing! It's the kind of thing that blows your mind even trying to conceive of it. 36:55 - "Stay in the canyon! Keep it low!"... There is a mission in Rogue Squadron (the video game, available on Steam) where you approach an Imperial base and have to traverse such a place. While it's not dark and raining in that mission, it's still damned difficult to make it all the way there. Also, that is one of my favorite Star Wars flight-simulation games, ever. Highly recommend it! 38:15 - K2 just "dry-snitching" on Cassian.... ;) 40:50 - Just so you know what kind of bastards the Empire employs at it's upper levels... we give you THIS scene. 41:00 - Also, You're right, Cassian couldn't pull the trigger and kill Galen. "All is as The Force wills it." 44:30 - I'm going to say this as the scene begins: BOTH of them are right. Jin knows that Cassian didn't tell her everything of why they came to Eadu, but Cassian also DID disobey his orders to kill her father. Do you remember what Obi-Wan said in Episode VI? "You're going to find that many of the truths we cling do depend greatly on our own point of view." That line is CENTRAL to all of Star Wars, and especially so in their most recent show, "The Acolyte". So, before you watch that, I want you to remember that. No spoilers, but I thought the show was amazing, but as I tell everyone, "Don't listen to the hate, watch it and make up your own mind". It got a lot of backlash, but personally, I think it's because a lot of people simply didn't understand it like I did. But back to the movie.... 45:00 - Also, the "Andor" series (I mentioned in my first comment) shows Cassian's backstory. Season 1 is an absolute BANGER of a show, and I can't wait to see season 2. Not really a spoiler: Season 1 (aside from his "childhood" flashbacks, takes place 5 years prior to this movie and Episode IV. Season 2 will cover the 4 years between season 1 and this movie/Episode IV. But if season 2 is as good as season 1, we're in for a TREAT! I'll discuss the "format" of the show (without spoilers) at the end of my comments. But you have GOT to see it! 45:25 - Okay, I'll talk about this, because it's only covered in the comics..... This is Vader's Castle on Mustafar. It was designed by a long dead Sithlord named "Momin" (a REALLY twisted evil bastard), who's psychic imprint was left in a mask that he once used. The story itself is canon, but never shown on screen. It was built where Vader lost his duel with Obi-Wan in Episode III, but also has a very strong connection to the Dark Side of The Force. It contains a bacta tank (as we first saw in Episode V, when Luke was recovering from the Wampa attack), which relieves the pain in Vader's skin. However, because he has so much "dead flesh", the affect of the bacta is minimal. Aside from his "royal guards" (the guys in red), he has a "caretaker" (the cloaked guy that announces Krennic's arrival). But here, we see Vader "disassembled" from both his suit and robotic limbs. 45:50 - Also, the "Vader" we see here isn't actually Hayden Christiansen.... but a prop built from his "body-cast" for Episode III. Looks damned good, doesn't it. 46:40 - Also, THIS particular Vader suit was built to be identical to the one used in Episode IV, because of the time it took place (days before). They took GREAT care in replicating Vader's helmet especially to match the one in A New Hope for another actor. 37:40 - Vader got "dad jokes", before even knowing he was actually a dad.... ;) Also, seeing Vader on screen made the entire theater go NUTS when that door opened. Not that we were expecting "more".... but we were happy as Hell that even got THIS appearance. 49:30 - Cassian is spitting facts here. "We've all done terrible things for the rebellion." (and they have) but it was for a cause they believed in (Remember..... "A certain point of view"). 50:25 - While I think of it.... "Rogue One" is technically a "retcon" for Luke's fighter group in Empire Strikes Back. When (not "IF", but WHEN) you watch that movie again, notice that Luke is "Rogue Leader", and the next in line is "Rogue Two". The spot of "Rogue One" is left open in honour of THIS team that's going to Scariff. THIS is something I've been waiting to tell you since you started this journey. So I'm glad we finally got to this point. =D Also, it should be obvious that this movie is about "sacrifice", and those "anonymous" people who contribute and sacrifice for the greater good. The ones who are truly heroes, but whose names are not remembered. As in our own histories of war, many people sacrificed everything (including their lives) to ensure that others could experience freedom, while the "leaders" are the ones celebrated. But without those who actually sacrificed everything, those leaders would not be celebrated. Also, also, the scene right behind that one, where Bail Organa is talking to Mon Mothma about returning to Alderaan... that is where he would meet his end. He was there, along with Leia's adoptive mother when the planet was destroyed. 51:00 - Here starts the 3rd act of the movie..... and let me tell you.... we had NO clue what we were in for in the theaters on first watch.... but it gets even BETTER from here on out. 56:00 - RIGHT before this man gets to Senator Mon Mothma, you can see a droid (astromech, like R2, but an older model) with an "orange" head in the background. VERY minor spoiler: That is C1-10P, also known as "Chopper". Of all of the droids in Star Wars, HE is my absolute FAVORITE! Once you watch the animated series', you'll understand WHY he is my favorite droid in all of Star Wars. You may choose a different "favorite" droid, and that's fine..... but I would rather have Chopper in my house than any other droid out there. 56:25 - And yes, this tiny cameo got a round of applause in theaters. 57:15 - No, it's just the perspective. Instead of seeing the AT-ATs from the air, you're seeing them from the ground, which of course shows just how huge those things are. (dammit.... gonna need another Reply to finish this out)
57:23 - Oh, YEAH! Here we go! THIS is where the 3rd act REALLY gets hot! I had chills and goosebumps when the rebel fleet showed up! Also, the footage of Red Leader and Gold Leader were unused footage filmed in 1975 for A New Hope, added in here to connect the movies together. 59:26 - Have you ever played "Star Wars: Squadrons"? It's a much newer game than Rogue Squadron, and is a pure flight simulator. I bought a flight stick to use with the game, but I gotta tell you, it's easy to get disoriented in space. I love the game, as you can play as both the Empire and Rebellion.... and it's multi-player... but I'm not good enough at it to go against other people. Rogue Squadron was released on the N64, and is much easier to fly. But still a challenge. I recommend both of those games if you're into that kind of thing. 1:00:00 - This is actually very reminiscent of the game "Shadows of the Empire" (which takes place between Episodes V and VI). But there are a some of levels where it's an FPS, and others that are flight sims. Another banger of a game that came out in the 90s. 1:02:00 - Yeah, THIS is where we first get an inkling of what is about to happen. There was a gasp when K2 was killed off. But it was only the start.... 1:04:10 - Chirrut is using the Force to cloud the aim of the Death Troopers, that's why they can't hit him. 1:04:50 - THE "Bro-mance" we didn't know we needed, Chirrut and Maze. 1:06:30 - Exactly. The unsung heroes. The nameless, faceless people who gave up their lives to defeat an oppressor. But also, remember: "From a certain point of view". To the Empire, they were still considered "terrorists".... 1:07:40 - Exactly. People just "doing a job for a paycheck" in order to support their families. Not inherently evil, just serving the current government in power. Doing what they have to in order to survive until tomorrow. 1:09:05 - NGL, there was a collective, "OH SHIT!" said in theaters when the Death Star came out of hyperspace..... 1:09:45 - And another "OH SHIT!" when that star destroyer appeared out of nowhere. Because we kinda knew what that meant..... but even then, we were NOT prepared for what was about to happen. 1:10:33 - Fun fact: The original "data card" used in Episode IV was lost decades ago, so they had to reproduce on for this scene. They used nothing but "on screen" references from the original movie, and did such a good job of recreating it, that we were all kinda shocked at this "fun fact". 1:10:40 - Also, I've been on a cruise ship during a hurricane, and heard the ship creak like that. It was kinda disconcerting experiencing it in real life... so I can only imagine the fear that went through these people's mind hearing that in a space ship.... But also...... the second we heard that breathing in the theater... we KNEW what that meant, and everyone in the theater I was in lost their MINDS when he ignited his lightsaber! Also, also, I'm going to type this before actually watching your reaction to this scene..... because I want to watch it in all its glory. But this scene wasn't in the original script. IIRC, the movie was a month or so before release, and someone had the idea to give Vader one final "bad-ass" scene. It was sent up the chain of command at Lucasfilm, approved, written, and filmed within a couple of weeks, since the sets hadn't been torn down yet. It was inserted "last minute" and actually became "THE" scene that everyone talked about for months after the movie was released. This was Vader at the height of his power. THIS was the Vader we all wanted to see, and did they ever deliver! 1:11:24 - Yeah, that was pretty much the reaction of everyone in the theater I was in. You nailed it! 1:11:52 - Also, another "body double" for Carrie Fisher, with her face digitally added and her actual voice used from Episode IV saying, "Hope". But yeah, this leads RIGHT into Episode IV..... and now you know why I can't watch one without the other. Also, there IS a very short "edit" on YT where someone put the ending of Rogue One and the start of ANH together. About the "Andor" series; Cassian's story is told... with "flashbacks" and "current day" kinda mixed together in the first several episodes. Something that sets the series apart from others, is that each "part" is told in "trilogies".... with each story arc, there's the "set up", the "details", then the "payoff". In some ways, it mirrors the Book of Boba Fett series in that regard. But if you liked this movie (which you obviously did), you'll also like the Andor series. It's just as "gritty" and "dark". With that said, I still recommend going in "timeline order".... because each thing earlier in the timeline adds context to what is shown later on. But if you're going to just do the movies for now, watch the "Solo: A Star Wars Story" next.... as it was the next one released (aside from the Sequel Trilogy).... it's what I like to call "a fun, but not necessarily NEEDED" movie. It's a lot of "fan service", but I really did enjoy it. The guy that they got to play a younger Lando was PERFECTLY cast (not to say that other characters weren't). But I think you should start at the beginning of the timeline, and even with rewatches, take it all in. I'll definitely watch along with you, and comment on how things tie together.
Probably other people commenting this, but you've gotta consider checking out the show Andor. Season 2 is coming out soonish. Season 1 is 12 episodes long and probably the single-best Disney-era Star Wars content, let alone some of the best Star Wars content in general. It provides a look at the bureaucracy and scale of the Empire and the birth of the Rebellion unlike anything we've seen before. It's a direct prequel to Rogue One and features a lot of the same cast, with more reappearing in season 2.
Thank you so much Letha!!! I really appreciate your support and can't express how much your kind words mean to me :) I have a small goal of 5k by end of year, but we'll see how it goes ❤
@@jessebatres6895 You are so very welcome! And I'll send some ppl this way. I Mod 5 channels and I'll give you some shout outs! I see you making it to 10K by the end of the year maybe more! ˙❥˙
@@Letha-Mae Wow! Thank you Letha! I like to think I stay motivated, but you just gave me some added boost! :) Really grateful to have you and so many other other wonderful people on this journey with me
Awesome reaction dude!!! You can see more stories with one of these characters. The series Andor tells a prequel story for Cassian Andor. The series has a slightly different vibe but it is a good one!!! I recommend you check out The Mandalorian series and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. I love both of them. 😁🤩😍 May the Force Be with You.
This isn't to say that I didn't enjoy this video or anything--it's awesome and I'm glad you watched this movie--but I'm the most excited for the Clone Wars 😅 It's my favorite piece of Star Wars media by a lot and I'm so ready to see you start the journey through the series
When the deathstar blew up, there definitely were ‘good’ people being forced to do the empires work, but the most disturbing thing is I believe there were at least 150 children from the imperial academy on board
Oh man! So many feelings just flowed in right now after reading your comment. It hurts even more to find out about the 150 children on board. So many times I would cheer and scream when a star destroyer would be destroyed, but in that moment for some reason Galen Erso shot into my head like a lightning bolt and I couldn't help but just watch with so many mixed feelings. We often only think about the heads of evil forces calling the shots, but forget about all the possible good people that are forced into following orders or would face severe consequences. (possible death most of the time)
What this film does better than any of the sequels is that it has a solid premise that is already rooted in the lore of the original trilogy. Even though we know the eventual outcome, it’s still quite gripping at times. What I didn’t care for was the Tarkin and Leia CGI and the tentacle monsters. The deepfakes were not needed as they could have simply recast their parts like they did Mon Mothma (the rebel alliance leader) and as for the tentacle monster, I didn’t know that I needed to see hentai in my Star Wars movie but shoutout to Disney. Overall though, a solid entry and IMO a level above any of the sequel trilogy.
That is potentially the most bad A moment Vader has ever had on screen. That was the frightening boogeyman from my nightmares in 1977 after having watched, read, and consumed all things Star Wars I could lay my hands on that summer.
This was such a good reaction I really loved seeing you react to rogue one I’m a Star Wars fanatic and Jedi fanatic react to more Star Wars please ✌🏽💪🏽💯👍
I can't wait till you check out the sequel trilogy. A lot of people talk crap, and they're not quite as great as the ones you've seen, but they are still a pretty dang good continuing of the story with some legacy characters.
"Your Highness. The transmissions we received. What is it that they've sent us?" "Hope." RIP Carrie Fisher. 😢 The ONLY Disney era Star Wars movie worth a damn. The rest are utter garbage. Rogue One gets better every time I watch it. Fun Fact: Alan Tudyk plays the droid K-2SO through motion capture technology. Tudyk previously played the robot character Sonny in I, Robot (2004). Red Gold Leaders Fact: Gareth Edwards and his creative team discovered some old film canisters while rummaging around the Lucasfilm warehouses. When he asked what they were, an employee said they were old Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) footage. The discovery led to the inclusion of unused material featuring Red Leader (Drewe Henley) and Gold Leader (Angus MacInnes) in this movie. Attention To Detail Fact: Darth Vader's appearance in this film is meticulously patterned after his look in the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). While Vader's chest plate is uncovered in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi (1983), his costume initially had his Sith robes draped over his shield, as well as red lenses in the eye holes of the mask. Considering this film takes place mere days before the original film, the costume designers recreated Vader's look down to the last detail. This movie was made with love by actual Star Wars fans.
Crazy, after watching a few od your Star Wars reactions I was going to mention this movie. My order, Empie Strikes back, Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, Roque One.....the rest is average at best.
Best Star Wars flick since the unspecialized first and second films! (Jedi was always too much of “a puppet show kiddy fair” for me.) So… Still waiting for your reaction to the entire, 5 film (YES… FIVE!) Indiana Jones series! Thanks, & best to you!
@@jessebatres6895 Awesomeness! I really hope that you enjoy them for what they are. Homage to the bee movies made in the Times in which these films are set. People take them all to seriously, just sit back, and enjoy the adventure! I look forward to your reactions. Be well. :-)
@@jessebatres6895 Sweet! One could imagine what they could do in relation in 2106, but I think we'll all be Star Wars-ed out long by then, if not the end of this decade. I don't see how you could make a sequel to this. The story's characters are all dead and the sequel is basically the original Star Wars movie which happens immediately after this. :P A different rendition? Nah, I think they did this story justice here with no need to "improve" on it. While I consider this to be Disney's best SW movie date, I'm iffy on it because of how close it is to the main saga it's almost like you have to watch this after watching Episode III instead of just going from that to IV. But I guess it's there if you want to know more Death Star backstory than it being a requirement to watch/care if you're just sticking with the main saga storylines. Ugh, a bizarre and complicated franchise this has become since 2015 and only gotten worse each year. -_-
@@devontehuntley6274 I agree, I think this story needs to be untouched and there shouldn’t be any kind of remake in the future. Fortunately, I don’t think anyone would even think about going that route with this. It’s heartbreaking that all these amazing characters died, but I’m glad it prevents writers from screwing them up later down the road. Just one awesome and captivating story! :)
@@jessebatres6895 Well they did do the Andor show, which they didn't screw up Andor but going a prequel route is a way for them to continue anyone here really, but even that show I found to be pointless to do because why do we need to know more about him? Not really needed. Just another excuse for Disney to milk this franchise for what it's worth, a habit they need to KICK already. All they needed to do was the damn sequel trilogy and finish out the Clone Wars series, not do anything else. I swear with some tweaks to this and shifting this to after Episode VI, this is what we should have gotten with The Force Awakens if they cared to be original with it. About four years ago, I wrote a fan script tweaking this story too to be like an Episode VII and prequel to TFA which also would have had tweaks along with The Last Jedi which would have concluded things (ignoring Rise of Skywalker altogether). I had Andor, Jyn, and Bodhi survive, renamed Andor Jake Skywalker and had him be Luke's son, Senator Organa was replaced with Han, the Death Star was the Starkiller Base, and Tarkin and Vader were replaced with Hux and Ren, etc. and so on. The Rogue One redo came out good, but I've since discarded the whole project finding no interest to really continue it.
If you like the grittiness and intrigue of this film then you'll probably enjoy the Disney+ 12 ep TV series ANDOR. It's main character is the Cassian in this film and is the story about how Cassian became a rebel leading up to the events in this film. 😀
19:55 Since you obviously didn't remember him, that was the guy who threatened Luke in Episode 4 in the Cantina scene. And his big head buddy got his arm chopped off by Obi-Wan
By the way, if you want to see more of Saw, you'll see some more of his moments in Clone Wars if you keep watching!
The correct order of the Star Wars story is 4,5,1,2,6,3,R

He can even see the lava bank where Obiwan defeated him in revenge of the sith.
Chirrut's walk through blaster fire to the master switch and his chanting of "I am one with the force..." is echoed in my mind when i watch 3P0 and R2 calmly stroll across the hallway full of laser bolts in the opening of A New Hope. His Spirit lives on!
Chirrut is played by Donnie Yen. He played Ip Man, he was also in John Wick 4.
lol your face when vader is coming out of the bacta chamber is priceless!! this movie give so much more weight to the importance of the plans in ep.4. i would recommend watching obi wan series, while ep3 is still fresh in your head, then maybe mando series for pure badass.
The fact that Vader literally held that door in the hallway closed with the Force is crazy.
He should have used that Force ability of his to knock the rebels to the ground or walls
@@andymiller6661 I mean he did, tho
Jyn Erso of course is also amazing, as the daughter of Galen Erso and the newest rebel after the death of her father.
47:45 classic Anakin, always kinda get a pun in somehow 😂😂
Man I would love it if there were some bloopers where the actors are improvising and Anakin is just throwing zingers, and we just see the actors break character and just start to laugh 😂
It may have already been said, but that slap you love so much from K2SO was actually improvised by the actor playing him (Alan Tudak) and it caught Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) by such surprise that he had to cover his mouth....because he was smiling and laughing.
Best ending ever
A beautiful and bittersweet ending
I like the Andor series too.
Now we need the rest of the new movies ❤ don’t let people saying they are bad make u not react to them have ur own opinion DONT LISTEN TO THE GATE KEEPERS
My favourite Rogue One fact: When the director was giving his name at a cafe, he said, "It's Gareth" & the cup came back with Scariff written on it 😂
To me, this is for sure one of the greatest Star Wars films ever made!!
It's? Sheesh, have some respect
Awesome reaction dude !!! 😃👍
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
I'm blind!"
Darth Vader’s castle was an idea that stretched all the way back to the earliest draft of The Empire Strikes Back.
Great reaction sir!
Galen getting to see Jyn one last time is similar to Shmi seeing Anakin right before she dies.
You like Vader being incompetent?
This film is basically the story of the crawl at the beginning of episode IV. I consider this the best of all the Star Wars films, even "The Empire Strikes Back"!
@@cyrilmauras4247 no not the best original trilogy is best
Heidi

Personally, I think the Clone Wars is better overall, but Rebels has better specific moments in it, and I know you'll enjoy it too
Vader is evil, may have cruel intentions, but why is he so damn cool. Love the Vader character. Solo and Vader are my favs, with Yoda of course.
This is one of my favorite Star Wars films
The Deathstar when firing on Jedha city is only using a single reactor shot. In the original New Hope when it destroyed Allderaan it used all 8 reactors to destroy the entire planet. Finally showing its maximum potential.
Great movie with many interesting characters, my fave being Chirrut.

@@joelc.3683 the most boring of the not so star wars
Sincerely,
Heidi
1994 is not long after 1977?

Your reaction to Tarkin was pretty good. Yes, it did look odd. Peter Cushing was YEARS dead by this, so thats a cgi overlay over another actor... and it was a bit off.
A couple of things
- yes, another great reason to watch your reactions: the surprise entrance of Vader in all his glory: emerging as a shadow that engulfs Krennic, and then walking across the room getting bigger as he comes.
You see another on Jedda and they have the imperial symbol on their arms
- the two thugs on Jedda who run into the heroes are the same guys from Episode 4 who try and scare Luke - the one that Obi Wan pulls a saber on. They EVEN use the same dialogue "we're wanted men!"
- Red Leader and Gold Leader in the Scarif orbit battle are the same guys from episode 4
- Something else that not everyone notices. Both times that the Death Star fires in this film, you see Tarkin give the order 'single reactor only' - and it's still deadly. That isn't a full test, because in episode 4 you might remember Tarkin giving the order to blow up Alderaan, and the controllers acknowledge 'commence _binary_ ignition'
- I liked that you noticed that the Scarif facility was beautiful, and the beach scenes were filmed in the Maldives. Yet another example of the empire confiscating anything that is beautiful and turning it ugly. Also, you were correct about the walkers - what we have seen before are troop transporters, but these are cargo transports (you can see the big palates loaded into the bodies of the walkers from the side)
- gotta love Ben Mendelson (fellow Aussie!) as Krennic.

Man, your reactions are insane! You need to urgently watch Andor after this. That's the best Rogue One vibe.
great reaction man
Ah, dammit... I can't add a reply to my initial post.... here's part 2:
33:30 - Have you ever heard of a "Dyson Sphere"?
38:15 - K2 just "dry-snitching" on Cassian.... ;)
40:50 - Just so you know what kind of bastards the Empire employs at it's upper levels... we give you THIS scene.
41:00 - Also, You're right, Cassian couldn't pull the trigger and kill Galen. "All is as The Force wills it."
44:30 - I'm going to say this as the scene begins: BOTH of them are right.
Also, it should be obvious that this movie is about "sacrifice", and those "anonymous" people who contribute and sacrifice for the greater good.
Best looking, best acted, amazing story. Best Star Wars movie.

May the Force Be with You.
(possible death most of the time)
When do the movies state that?
You gotta LOVE K2SO
59:50 you will enjoy "Midway" (2019)
The technology on cgi deep fake has gotten much better.
Yet still a bad movie.
Other than them getting the plans, we don't know the outcome
That is potentially the most bad A moment Vader has ever had on screen. That was the frightening boogeyman from my nightmares in 1977 after having watched, read, and consumed all things Star Wars I could lay my hands on that summer.
Vader being incompetent is badass?
Rest in Peace James Earl Jones
Watching your reaction was way too fun. Andor is a truly phenomenal prequel of sorts to this that I would love to see you react to as well. 💖
@@kaygee2121 the boring not so star wars
I only watch the Darth Vader hallway scene, and that's it...😂😂😂
To watch his incompetence?
This was such a good reaction I really loved seeing you react to rogue one I’m a Star Wars fanatic and Jedi fanatic react to more Star Wars please ✌🏽💪🏽💯👍
I can't wait till you check out the sequel trilogy. A lot of people talk crap, and they're not quite as great as the ones you've seen, but they are still a pretty dang good continuing of the story with some legacy characters.
"Your Highness. The transmissions we received. What is it that they've sent us?"
"Hope."
RIP Carrie Fisher. 😢
The ONLY Disney era Star Wars movie worth a damn.
Yet still a bad movie
You NEED to watch the Obi-Wan Kenobi series... PLEASE! You will love it.
Now you need to do reaction videos to first season of TV show "Andor."
Yet another powerful reaction to one of the best Star Wars productions ever! Loving all your shows, Jesse. Keep 'em coming!
History is made by Rogue One's. History tends to remember the Luke Skywalker's.
(Jedi was always too much of “a puppet show kiddy fair” for me.)
So… Still waiting for your reaction to the entire, 5 film (YES… FIVE!) Indiana Jones series!
Thanks, & best to you!
I watched it again yesterday, SO GOOD!!!
And I'll be picking back up Indiana Jones after October :) Excited to see the rest of his adventures!
@@jessebatres6895 Awesomeness! I really hope that you enjoy them for what they are. Homage to the bee movies made in the Times in which these films are set. People take them all to seriously, just sit back, and enjoy the adventure! I look forward to your reactions. Be well. :-)
ANDOR THE BEST Star wars series
I think you should delv into the series as well
Goated cap 🧢
I suggest Obi One series
Fix the year in title. We're like over eighty years behind there. :P
LOL! Just fixed it. Maybe the give us a sequel or different rendition of this story in 80+ years 😂 Thanks for looking out :)
Hey man, ease up on Saw.
It's hard to find a good stylist in the Outer Rim territories. 🤣🤣😂
ANDOR FOR MORE!
Is the final trilogy as good as the others?.....no. Is the final trilogy worth watching?......yes.
Despite the criticism of the last episodes, Disney HIT THIS OUT OF THE PARK! 😊
Rogue One and the Andor series are the only good things to come out of Disney Star Wars.
There's no movie called Rouge One.
@@andymiller6661 satisfied?
@@mfournier8033 No.
The only Disney starwars movie i would gladly watch over and over again.
'Star Wars' over 3/4 of the screen is annoying. You won't get a copyright strike as long as you don't show the entire movie.
If you like the grittiness and intrigue of this film then you'll probably enjoy the Disney+ 12 ep TV series ANDOR. It's main character is the Cassian in this film and is the story about how Cassian became a rebel leading up to the events in this film. 😀
Jesse are you planning on reacting to the Obi-Wan Kenobi series? It is a very, very good series.
