Where do you guys find the time to be great musicians, songwriters and carpenters??? As advanced as you guys are on your musical instruments & vocals it seems like to have come that far it would've consumed every waking hour...and now I see you're also great with woodwork and electronics...??? I'm impressed!
Way cool. Love the finish. It really brought out the grain in the wood. All of the chrome gives an industrial look to it, like it was a machine, which isn’t too far from the intended use.
Very, Very interestig work. What a fine and fantastic chambered guitar you've made. And finally i found you have installed the really good tremolo "Stets Bar Pro",very, very effective (expensive, but is the best). Congratulations.
Beautiful job! I have a stetsbar tremolo on a Firebird (kinda industrial looking but it STAYS IN TUNE) My only suggestion for future tele builds would be to countersink the control plate. It looks great when the plate is flush with the body.
Ian Curtis You were the second person that mentioned that. And I agree. I think I need to plan ahead a little better on the next build. It seems like once it comes off the CNC machine it’s hard to center it back up.Thank you for watching and thanks for the comment.
bel servizio, sull'artigianato, complimenti , e bel suono della chitarra è sempre una emozione, veder nascere uno strumento musicale. grazie , ciao. siete dei veri artisti.
Spalted maple has an interesting look to it. Everything looks really good. Thanks for sharing, we can see how much work is actually involved in building a guitar. 🤟
It was until they put that hunk of metal junk for a trem system on it. That wrecked it for me. Still.... impressive work. The guys have incredible skills, and talent. I wish I had that skill. Um. And their equipment. LOL
This is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen. I personally love wooden like guitars and instruments in general, as wood is an amazing material and has to show up in the final art. Congratulations on the very good job!
The woods of this guitar are amazing ! I thinks the metal parts that are mostly chromed could have been brass to match the wood and look extraordinary .
@@helmuttdvm No, the skill in guitar building is in the knowledge of the wood and the shaping and contouring of the body and neck. He made a slab guitar, that feels, plays, and sounds like every $150 tele at the guitar supermarket.
Absolute killer tele guys👍 I wish I’d seen the stetsbar top mount trem system before I’d cavity cut mine to fit a supervee maverick tele trem system... doh!!!!! Even with the humbuckers your tele has a great stinging wirey tone. Brilliant🎸

Not bad for a couple of dirty rotten jack plates. It definitely sounded funnier in my mind. Great video and an awesome guitar! You just found a new subscriber.
I like chambering on a tele. I prefer the thinline style though. If your going to go through the trouble of chambering , why not tune it for an F- hole in the upper bout.
its alright, you not hurting anyone, indulge, hell you might create something no one has ever heard before,i really like the one you just created, lucky you
Really like this, I might want even more off, I hurt my back when I was 30 & My 74 Les Paul & 73 Strats were too damn heavy, killed my back, I like your approach. I've got 2 extra Strat bodies I'd like to run through a planer & then chamber & cap after like this. Thanks for the inspiration, sounds great too, I loved a Tele deluxe I had with humbuckers.
@@themassacoustics264 I mean, if nothing important is there, it's prob no big deal. It just seemed like a lot of stuff was there so I'm like NOOOOOO! This is a gorgeous and well made guitar! That said, the only change I would suggest would be to do two individual channels through the main body instead of the individual chambers, and then you can do F-holes (another great Jersey insult) and make it a semi-hollow body Tele. Just my two cents though...
7:20, I was thinking exactly that. There is a process whereby you can plate nickel or chrome without a tank. It uses an electrode that is made of soft material and is immersed in an electrolyte. Look for it on RUclips. It was one of the restoration videos. It does a beautiful job.
@@themassacoustics264 This is the video that I saw: ruclips.net/video/9ULUw5gtzj4/видео.html This is the part where he explains the plating process. You can do this.
If the pickup wires are shielded, you already have a noise reduction path, yes? I mean, all EMR will hit the shielding first and travel to ground, right? So, is it even necessary to shield the control cavity? Just asking. thx.
@@andreapiseri8521 I just wonder if shielding it really helps. I have some unshielded monitors in my little studio and I haven't tried some A/B test but I do get a weird hum when I face my monitors and big screen TV then if I turn 90 deg left or right, it's gone. ? weird.

Hey that's pretty respectable work for a couple of jack plates...
Beautiful guitar. I’ve always liked the idea of a chambered Tele myself and that one turned out great.
You pilot holes do awesome work! Sounds amazing, looks amazing. Great job Jack Plates!!
These Jack plates are brilliant Luthiers.

Or should I say
It eluded me
But then, down came a tree
By more than a breeze
Dutch Elm Disease
I went to the workshop to ponder and had an idea
Ran out in the yard to find beetles devouring that tree
Oh wow wow woweee
I took it inside
made it some tea
(that confused Betty Lee)
I chopped up the wood
sawed, planed and squeezed
Isn't it good
Dutch Elm Disease
Betty Lee knitted mittens while I carefully crafted a top
To adorn that ol' Tele with chambers and 'buckers and pots
That turned out quite nice
