This was a DIY build of a BYOC kit. (build your own clone). It was a fun fast build and it sounds great especially for it’s size. DIY tremolo pedal build BYOC kit

This was a Build your own clone (BYOC) kit. It was a very fun build that I think sounds great. It maybe took 90mins to put together not counting the painting. The circuit is based on and EA tremolo pedal. For a dyi, it seems pretty close to the level of wampler and some of the other boutique pedals that are discussed on that pedal show. Im excited to add this to my pedalboard.

It's Christmas time! We thought we would make a DIY Brio covered bridge gift. We made it out of oak project boards and made our own track from scrap maple left over from a guitar project on our DIY CNC machine.

This is our attempt at a DIY fuzz tone pedal. Using Fritzing and a home made CNC machine to mill out the circuit board we made the whole thing from scratch. Here's a song that hopefully tips our hat to the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. We also threw in a fat tremolo Gretsch and upright bass for good measure. So like the dumb guys we are, we made a trek up to the top of Love Circle to get a view of the Nashville skyline as our background. The wind, damp and cold made it extremely difficult to lip sync but we tried our best to fake it...
DIY custom guitar effects pedalboard from scrap wood

We used walnut and maple to create a custom DIY guitar effects pedalboard from scrap wood. On the side we mounted an IEC surface mount jack with an on/off switch and a fuse that powers a voodoo labs pedal power 2 along with an audio in and out. It makes a solid no frills medium size board.

Using 16 guage steel from Home Depot we were able to make a cowbell. This scratch build used a few skills that were new to us. We might have made the worst TIG welds on You Tube. It was a fun and simple build with just and angle grinder, hammer and a welder. We did not fear the reaper. more cowbell I gotta have it.

We used some reclaimed wood that had been laying around the studio shop for years. With some left over walnut we were able to keep the cost low.

When you cut plywood ,put painters tape on both sides of the wood before cutting. It reduces the tear a lot.

Use a hair dryer or a heat gun on a low setting moving around the front of the grill and the material will shrink and tighten up nice and snug.
