DIY guitar stand made from scratch out of baltic birch plywood. - Хобби
"..how much do you need, then plus one more".....that was so inspired me. I will keep this words tightly!
Poor ol'' polly people always wiping stuff on her😂😂😂😂
When you cut plywood ,put painters tape on both sides of the wood before cutting. It reduces the tear a lot.
If you build one, you have G.A.S. (guitar acquisition syndrome). Nice build, I (like many) have subbed because you combine our 2 favorite passions... Building things and music.
How tf have I never seen this channel before?! How long have I been missing out on Sam and Dean building stuff and playing music between hunting trips?
You guys crack me up! "Hey, y'all going to the glue, screw and tap?" :)
Now we have to buy more guitars. I like that! Thanks for the video!
6:50 I've found taping the baltic birch on the cut line drastically reduces or eliminates this tear out. An extra step, yes, but a lot less wood filler needed
nice design by the way!
Beautiful! One thing you can add is some padding for the neck supports. I like to use 1/2" wide latigo leather strap. Cut a piece 6" long and glue it into each U shaped cutout to cradle the edges of the necks on those fine gee-tawrs.
I make mine from antique mahogany nothing but the best for my Martin guitars
😊 could you please provide a blue print for measurements ?? or is it available somewhere already ?? !! 😊
Glad to subscribe, you have combined my two loves - woodworking and playing guitar! Look forward to more video's.
🧡
You guys did a nice job on this. Looks good. Pretty dang cool.
You did a nice job, but A little time taken to to clamp your finished lumber inside of some protective plywood would have stopped all out you chipping and breakout.
Huntsville, AL is Rocket City. You must be thinking about Dothan
Having 6 places for guitars would give me something to shoot for. Only need 5 more. Sometimes if you use masking tape to line the cut you can avoid tear out along the edges.
I guess we're going to have to build you a few huh? comin na comin na yeah!
your made it very beautiful. Can you please
tell me the measurement of the stand as i want to build one too.
That is Baltic Birch. Good stiff.
Where can I get the plans
Would love to see you guys build a whamola bass! Les Claypool style. I'd buy one at sweetwater but seems like no one build them 😔
Corey Martin I’ve been thinking about building a bass but not sure of the style yet. I’m going to check it out. Cheers!
I was interested in making a stand for guitars with cases. Any ideas? Thanks
Did you have to make/purchase the routing template first? Or is it something you re-use?
Any plans?
Where can i find the measurements of that mall?
How far are the guitar holes/slots spaced apart?
Thanks for watching. The holes are about 2.5 inches in diameter(63mm) with about an 1.5 inches between each hole(38mm).
Any chance you have plans that I could download for this?
I don't have any plans, I was kinda just winging it. I might be able to get you some measurements. Are there any dimensions in particular that you need to know?
@@themassacoustics264 Hello, I am thinking of building one of these and I would like to know the size of the Hole Cutter you used for the guitar Neck holder bit. Also, How long that piece of wood is (How wide the overall project is). Thanks.
@@thesundaycarpenter2514 thanks for watching. the hole size is 2.5 inches (63ish mm) the overall length is about 27 inches. I made the right side a little longer to make space for a J200.
ahhh....you dont know good beer....ta daaaaa
Also the width of the bottom of the side pieces before you cut the design....and the angle on the front of these pieces....about 30 degrees??
Mny thx
Dennis let me know if you can watch this video. I just made this for you a few minutes ago , I hope it helps ruclips.net/video/JtwBZvAie2U/видео.html
Nah, the amount of guitars you need is double of what you have.
I really like the Woodglut plans.
