I absolutely love how that came out. I love that you stained the neck & fretboard and made a matching wood cavity plate for the back..... and of course Stainless Steel Frets!
stunning guitar. out of all the ones I've seen built on youtube, that is in my top 10 faves atm. I would dearly love a Nashville telecaster like that. in all honesty. out of all the guitars I've seen built. that's the first one I've really wanted.
Wow, that was awesome. A whirlwind of possible techniques for achieving this kind of build, and then watching all that flame maple come to life was just exhilarating. Great stuff, beautiful build.

That is a lot of work to put into a nice carved top. I am simply blown away on how you went about it with the holes and then chiseling the top. Just nuts! That is a beautiful guitar all around and probably one of the best I’ve seen you do tele wise. I like the fact you used true oil on this one. I use either true oil or wipe on poly on kits I build due to ease and I like the look. Kinda more natural in a way. Excellent, excellent work!!
Cutting that belly carve on the band saw takes some ballz!

Cool video! Dig sending the guitar through the sander at that angle and your truss rod routing jig. Heck the radius jig for the router was cool too!

Nice method on the drilled start to contours, might have to try that on a future build instead of router steps!

Those finish colors worked out great and the body & neck looked absolutely stunning. But man, that flame maple you got there is the stuff dreams are made of!... Let me tell you, the unthinkable things I would do to have a garage full of it in 8/4. Another work of art my man!

@@bigdguitars You are much to kind and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the offer. Waiting on the weather to break a bit so I can begin setting up shop in the garage. I will certainly hit you up once I'm equipped to store/stock material. I'm not even equipped yet to begin resawing & processing any material. I've found some figured curly locally (Central Ohio), but it is nowhere near close to what you have there. I will be in touch in the not to distant future for certain. You rock my man.

Man, some of the comments... The cool thing about building “Custom” Guitars, is that you get to make it into whatever you want. There is no Right or Wrong way of doing. Outstanding job brother!! I’ve literally lost count of how many of your videos I’ve watched and haven’t walked away from one yet where I wasn’t blown away and or learned something. Thanks to you for your time and RUclips for this platform to teach with. I do have a question for ya, I’ve seen you do this carve top as well a Les Paul carve, what are the thicknesses of timber that you start with for the body and the maple top?

Would love to have something similar done, would go for a different body style but the grain on the wood is perfect for me.

Now that is one beautiful guitar. I thought fret boards had to be hard like rosewood though, but all I know comes from your channel as well as stumac and rosa string works.
