This is one of those videos that you have to wonder why people down vote. Is it jealousy? It has to be jealousy. The guy has made a beautiful guitar out of some crap wood and has done a absolutely masterful job. Don't listen to the downvoters or the negative trolls. Do what you love to do and that's all that matters
Actually you can make electric guitar out of almost any type of wood and it does not make that much of a difference in tone. If you have tools for every specific part on the guitar it is not that hard to build an electric guitar.
@@lukasberger1997 I'm almost in the assembly stage of building my first electric guitar! it's an old piece of reclaimed barn wood. the process has been challenging, but RUclips has been an amazing resource!! I bought a neck as I don't feel like I need to overwhelm my self on my 1st build, but that's going to be a challenge in the future!
A nice looking guitar. Interesting backstory of where the wood came from, making the 12th fret inlay extra cool. Bravo and well done. Enjoyed the video. Watching it was time well spent. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm not sure what some of you think he had great tools . I've been a woodworker for almost 40 yrs. And have seen videos of guys making guitars with dedicated tools and machines, he is doing this with some old tools, granted old but reliable. My only gripe is I wouldn't use that reclaimed wood. Your putting alot of work into the guitar but if you didnt watch the video you'd think it was someone's old guitar. I love wood with character. Great work dude.
That is an amazing looking and sounding guitar. This is something I have always wanted to do but lack the tools and the skills to make it happen. That's why I enjoy watching videos like this one. To watch someone take reclaimed wood and turn it into such a wonderful looking guitar never gets boring.
Yeah dude !!! Good choice the Telecaster for your project. I have a Telecaster. Perfect guitar. Robust, polyvalent and what about is style. First solid body in guitar history
What a beautiful, satisfying undertaking. Just lovely. I have to say, the reclaimed wood is both beautiful and heartwarming. Just watched another build, and when the guy pulled out these big planks of ebony it made me sad as hell. I could just see the rare and precious trees that were felled to supply that industry. I've been to Africa and seen the dwindling, depleted forests, as big trucks haul more and more rare tree trunks down the road for foreign export. Keep it up, mate.
I was planning a scratch build and realized I was in over my head. I bought a parts kit and made a guitar that way instead. I learned so much from materials needed to the final set up, including fret dressing. Now I'm back to planning that scratch build. Parts kit was a great learning experience.
Thank You for the great inspiration for building these good guitars... It is clear that, you have all necessary tools, equipment and many years of experience in woodworking. Additionally, the body design is really amazing...
I think I want to try that. I wonder if harbor freight had the tools. This guy really knows his stuff. I think the real may come into play with setting the intonation.
Bonjour un très bon travail comment peux couter une guitare fait par vos soins merci 🙏 j’adore le rendue des trois couleurs merci pour se pertage 👍👍👍👍🙋🏻♂️

Great video, but I was kind of skipping around... until around 11:30, that is. Oh YEAH... "Rumble." That's clearly one of the best guitar instrumentals.
Very cool I’ve been wanting to learn guitar but might be too at I’m 62 now also wood worker Loved watching you build the Guitar do you like the solid body or hallow body better Thanks for sharing
Where was this guitar built? Is the facility open to the public or is this your own private shop? It would be great to have access to such a wonderful array of tools! And beautiful work!

The craftsmanship and the tools make really a difference. this man is skilled to make from scrap the best instrument.
I can't get over the grain in that neck and headstock. The back of the guitar was beautiful as well. Well done! Fine work.

The tools and their use astound me-gorgeous hunk of wood telecaste rwith a sweet little heart on the side-front.

You could buy a kit guitar! As far as I know all you need is a soughter. I think guitar fetish is supposed to have some good ones.
Yeah dude !!! Good choice the Telecaster for your project. I have a Telecaster. Perfect guitar. Robust, polyvalent and what about is style. First solid body in guitar history

Great bro!!!!!!
I haven't made one yet but I like the idea of the arrows on your template...assuming for the direction of the router to reduce chances of tearout?
Hello Dan. On 4:20 is some kind of fretboard radius jig?. Can you show us more? Guitar looks great.
Good job 👍☺
Belo trabalho, guitarra lindíssima. Good work
Very cool I’ve been wanting to learn guitar but might be too at I’m 62 now also wood worker

Do you sell guitars you make. This guitar sounds great. Sounds vintage beautiful tone.
Thanks! Yes, I do. Check out Strackwoodworking.com
beautiful work, man! may I ask why the lack of a thrust rod?
It has one. It's a wheel adjust truss rod at the neck heel.
truss rod
Where was this guitar built? Is the facility open to the public or is this your own private shop? It would be great to have access to such a wonderful array of tools! And beautiful work!
Thanks! I work out of my own shop. I’ve been acquiring tools and machines for the last 25 years.
Very crazy.....

A guitarra é Feita de madeira né?
How does this pine build compare to a denser "normal" wood built telecaster sound like irl?
There should be a sound sample at the end, huh? Probably sounds like a telecaster, but with a strattier headstock.
Demais essa Tele!!! Linda! Parabéns!!! Qual Preço de uma igual a essa?
Nice build! I what song was that about 14 minutes into your video?
