    Hello thanks for your videos good information. I have a couple of questions.
    #1 how well would these type of cameras work where instead of using a presentation on your OBS computer to stream as a camera instead you zoomed into the TV or projector that was showing the presentation to the audience, Then you used that camera as your presentation source. I'm thinking of a situation where your presentation software is on a different computer than your streaming software.
    #2 and unrelated to this. Can you provide info on the TV's you have on stage? why you chose TV's over projector, what type (model QLED etc) of TV's and how big are they? and #3 how did you run wires to them from your av booth. Did you used HDMI base t , HDMI over ip, sdi something else. Asking all these because I'm in a small venue and we are looking to add TV's or projectors soon. Our venue is probably similar size maybe even small than yours. Our auditorium is probably 50 feet deep. Thanks!!

    Sorry, can you just run the ethernet of the POE injector you show here directly into the laptop instead if into router? I don't see the need to involve Gig switch if running one camera over one laptop and then streaming from that laptop via WiFi?

    Brilliant video. Normally you need to add a delay of the audio in ATEM as the camera is adding a delay on the picture. Not hard.

    I have two Avkans PTZ NDI cameras plus an Avkans Joystick Controller (which you have reviewed). However, I also have an ATEM Mini Pro which requires HDMI input from cameras. Is there any way I can combine all of these for livestreaming? Seems that I need NDI decoders from the NDI source to the ATEM.

    I'm setting up a livestream system for my church. I have a Video Switcher with 7 video in and 7 video out. My question is how do I connect NDI LAN Cable to that Video Switcher which has only SDI or HDMI port ?

  • @MartinEduardoPerezGomez

    Crucial question, I'm new to this.
    Can all this configuration be done offline? That is, I don't need to be connected to an internet network and only do it within a local network using nothing more than the POE switch?
    I want to do this configuration in rural areas where there is no internet connection, either wifi or Ethernet network, but I am interested in using the POE protocol for its practicality.
    Is that possible? The video would only be recorded locally using a capture device such as OBS.
    Another question, can I use one controller and use different PTZ cameras of different brands or do I need to have the cameras of the same brand as the controller?
    Thank you very much, I hope you can help me.

    Say you want to run outputs to other monitors or TVs, etc. via NDI from some program... do you run those feeds from the POE switch and then convert to SDI/HDMI?

    A question if you don't mind... doing a simple set up... ptz camera, computer (w/audio sources), and router/internet. Those are the only three connections to the switch. Is there any advantage to a managed switch? Planning on poe to power the camera, (may be obvious, but...). Use is to be for Zoom meetings. Thanks

    • @Foundery
      @Foundery  2 года назад +1

      If it’s a gigabit switch then no advantage at all. Keep it simple it’ll work great.

    I don’t use Ethernet for my pc I use my phone as a personal hotspot and USB tether to the pc so it is a wired connection rather than WiFi. Would I be able to use the usb connection instead of Ethernet to stream the camera to OBS or does it literally just have to be over Ethernet 🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @Foundery

      Ive not tried it but I suspect no. The usb has pretty limited functions on most of these cameras.

    Will definitely be reaching out with questions on how to get the PTZ connected to the PC ideally I don't want the encoder to be on the PC is there an alternative not sure if something like the elgato or a BMD splinter will help ..sorry super new at this Church tech and Livestream setup stuff. Will be using OBs for live streaming and video psalm for projector scripture

    • @Foundery
      @Foundery  2 года назад

      If I understand, you want to get video from your PTZ into your computer running OBS. That's doable using the HDMI or SDI output on the camera to a capture device that is then hooked up to your computer. There are all sorts of less expensive USB versions that work like the one below. If your computer is newer and has Thunderbolt ports the BlackMagic Recorder will do the job very well on either SDI or HDMI. OBS will then see it like any other USB video source like your Webcam.

      Black Magic Recorder: amzn.to/3yyZFwb

    Hi, are you using your M1 MacBook Pro or a Windows Laptop with dedicated GPU in this particular demonstration, lastly which do you recommend using in a church livestream purpose using OBS + WebEx.
    Thank you in advance.

    • @JeremyWilliamScott
      @JeremyWilliamScott Год назад +1

      Yes, I'm using my M1 MacBook pro. I also tried it on an older "gaming" windows laptop and it worked well. I'm personally a Mac guy, so if you can afford it any version of the new Mac Studio would work great. Otherwise, any windows laptop marketed for "gaming" will have the dedicated graphics you need.

    HI! I'm a little new to puters, but 60 years ago, I got me a HP calculator. Dog had an accident on it, but, let's not get sidetracked. I am a gonna git me some NDI, cause you seem honest. So, the NDI is like a liquid, that goes down that wire, with electricity in it? I gotcha there, but then, I get a little confused, because my son (he's 50 now, not the brightest kid) bough me a mouse, and then he told me to get a puter. So, is the mouse enough? Also, I'm on a fixed income, so can you give me a discount on this NDI? Now, let me tell ya what I'm fixing to stream. My grandson, he's 23, he told me that while he goes to church, he live streams pipple falling asleep. And, well, I am going to pay pipple in my church, to fall asleep, I'm a gonna stream that, and tell the people who understand how to watch a stream, that if they pay me money, I will wake the people up, tell everyone their name and where they live, and blackmail 'em! I've always been gud at bizness, cause I worked in a store, as a cashier, until my drinking problems.
    So, whaddya tink?
