Great video. Also, if your ProPresenter machine can't handle all of your cameras without bogging down, using the ATEM in tandem with ProPresenter can free up some resources. ProPresenter works the same way, but it only has to process a single video input, while the ATEM can switch which camera is being used for that input.
I'm a big fan and user of BM gear like ATEM, BMPCC... But why not OBS, can't be lower cost. Also NDI with FreeShow (Little buggy in french environment but nice free presenter app)
We currently have two people on Media during a service. One for ProPresenter who controls the slides and one who controls the cameras and sending out the live stream through VMix. If we were to go the ProPresenter route like you had described here, is there a way to still have two people to run slides and cameras so one person doesn't get overwhelmed?
If you're willing to work it out and you guys use a click track already, you can automate the slides with midi then other than monitoring it to make sure it's working no work has to be done
I bought smtav 4k ptz cameras for that cost - HDMI for video and PoE to power cameras and controller into OBS - only running them at 1080 right now, but the downsampling really helps with low light
I think Jake and the team have got completely out of touch over the years as to what budget friendly means. The cost of these “basic” setups are ridiculous
placeholder is basically telling ProPresenter that you don't have a physical screen connected to your computer but to mimic that you do basically. it's not able to be seen by any other device or software though
For people using ProPresenter, with or without the Atem, do you guys have IMAG of your preacher on screen? Or is there anyone who runs graphics in the room and video only to livestream?
Thanks for the video! Question: we are moving in the Propresenter direction. But, we'd likely have 2 people each Sunday (1 person manually running slides, 1 person manually switching between 4 camera angles). Because of this, am I correct in assuming we should do the Propresenter + ATEM solution? otherwise, not sure how we'd be able to switch slides and cameras in Propresenter at the same time.
Can you use a PC for Pro Presenter? The church I attend uses Mac's at the moment but they are several years old and we do not have the $$ to spend on a new one. Building a PC, for us, is looking like the more cost effective route at the moment. Not sure if anyone will see this but I hope someone is able to respond. Thanks.
@@Churchfrontas usual great video and top content But allow me to say sorry i disagree with using propresenter as a budget streaming solution for churches In my country so many churches don't have the ability to fund yearly or monthly apps or software that do stuff in media production or in general and they just need the lowest cost possible or one time cost for streaming ( i came across many use cases for this in my country in Egypt ) Not saying that Propresenter is bad or anything ( i actually love it ) But presenting better budget options for streaming like OBS ( or any similar software ) or streaming directly from the atem mini sometimes can be a possible solution Propresenter is not a budget option for streaming
@@Maf-Dy you don't need to fund it yearly or monthly... you buy ProPresenter and can use it forever. The only difference is that you will only get 12 months of updates, so it's up to you to pay for another 12 months if you want more updates (which is usually unnecessary since most churches don't need ALL the updates)

If you have local network or wifi, Iriun is a great option, the app is available both Android and iOS. For the computer, you can install the same app and set it as webcam. Also you can install OBS as streaming software and get Iriun app as video source. Iriun can run up to 4 cameras by the way for multiple angle shot
I really like this channels videos but 3:30 until you actually start the video with a sponsored segment? Like cmon guys change up the placement strategy

I use Vmix, and that is the way I do it using a Streamdeck to control both the Atem and Vmix

Was wondering if you could review the Yolobox pro or ultra, I was thinking of getting those🤔
I am currently using it in church it’s
I got both and don’t know how to use it

Memorized by the stained glass windows in your building. Are they actual stained/leaded glass? Do you have any info on where they were made?
Real stained glass! No clue who made them but I bet I could find out.

yes. Propresenter + Atem is a good and common workflow
We use Vmix, but this is our workflow as well, and a Streamdeck to control both

Yes propresenter works for both mac and windows

But why Propresenter instead of Wirecast or VMix?
Many small church setups can run presentation and streaming from ProPresenter. No need for additional app.

Has to be connected to the HDMI port.
I will assume so, if the ptz cam can do NDI!

Outdated smartphone + Newtek NDI app + Type-C Ethernet adapter (or powerful gigabit wireless AP) = Ghetto system camera
