There is an indicator light to show that the device has power. Other than that you can see the preview through OBS or whichever streaming platform you prefer. If you use something like an ATEM Mini with a monitor or have an IP Controller, you can see your previews there as well.
I've used a powered and un-powered USB hub with 3 cheap capture devices in the past with no problems into OBS and utilised Touch Portal installed on the Laptop and my phone for a wire free remote operation. Recently purchased a Yolobox Pro for a more mobile solution to streaming, although it still has a few issues that the developers need to work on, for it to replace OBS altogether when out and about.
That’s pretty interesting! I’ll have to look more into that. There weren’t any issues with cameras losing signal? I think I’ll run a test this week! Thanks for the feedback…
SMTAV 30x Camera is NOT an 1 inch sensor camera! It's only 1/2.7. One 1 inch PTZ camera is about $10k today (see Panasonic PTZ AW-UE150). For that reason it's very bad in low light situation and also cheap.
I stand corrected. Thank you for pointing this out. I looked back on their Amazon listing and it now says “It is equipped with a Panasonic 1/2.7" CMOS and a Tamron zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F1.8”.
Hi, do you have a video on how you set this us with the joystick remote? We are currently using one Avipas camera that USB directly to an IMac computer in which we use an online streaming service called Streamyard. How much will buying alter our setup?
Hey Damon - not at this moment. I’m going to get that going soon. I’m still in the process of switching everything over. It’s been an odd time at our church and we actually paused livestreaming for a while. I was reassigned to other tasks. Everything I’ve found on RUclips about this setup seems to be missing some details. As far as the controller altering your setup…. You would be hooking the camera and controller up to your network. If don’t already have a 1GB POE network switch, you’ll need to get one ($60). You also need some Ethernet cable. I would recommend Cat6/Cat6A because it has a larger conductor size than Cat5E cable. You’ll be adding a wire to your PTZ but then you can get rid of the power supply on your PTZ. You would essentially be hooking your controller and camera up to your POE switch/network. If you have someone that is familiar with IT / Networking, that would help you.
We have been using a similar system with two smtav. One of these cameras was defective. Shipping back to China was ~$500. However, Amazon strode in waved the fee and the company replaced the unit. We have been using both for many years and will probably purchase another. I agree this is a good quality dependable camera. Just as in your case with use multiple canon camcorders with the pro chip when higher quality is needed. It’s hard to be the canon. We tied all the video camera streams and ProPresenter into a roland v-1hd to display a matrix of videos on a screen for the operator. We use an Behringer x32 sound board, a Dell computer for ProPresenter and another Dell with a Elgato hd capture card. I have used many remote control products and as you said. Splashtop is a good choice. The more expensive business version is need so you need to transfer files smoothly between devices. Sound we have gone down a similar path. We transmitt video over cat6 cable to eight large led panels in the church. We started when SDI was to expensive for us. SDI May be a future upgrade. We upgraded our lighting system to full color led lighting. This makes a tremendous difference in the quality of our video. Our website is fairviewUMCdanville.org. Best wishes. There is a great need to help churches of modest funding and technical support develop a system that is stable, easy to use and the non technical people can operate. I will follow your progress. Good luck. Ricl😢
Man! You took the time to comment on this video and it totally got passed up with other notifications. 10 months later? That’s absolutely unacceptable! I’m sorry!! Lighting is our next major upgrade! Your system sounds awesome! I’m going to check out your website here in a bit! I appreciate you very much!
If it feels easy to you then by all means. Budget may be a factor for you as well. However I will send you all of the plug in play stuff that you could have done. It is more efficient. You did say someone said you needed a switcher and that would make it a more seamless work space. My wife and I set stuff like this up for church’s on a regular basis that is our ministry. She calls it media evangelism. I’ll send a list of stuff.
@@elijahbunting8119 true! But this is an older video and we do have some equipment updates. I’d love to have you send the list over man! That would be great! I appreciate the input brother!
Great video! Thank you for taking the time to explain things most other folks don't touch on.
You're very welcome!! Much appreciated!
How do I make sure if the camera is working when I come into church to set things up, like how did you put it on preview before going live stream.

Very good video, I think the effect of ADKIDO PTZ CAMERA is also very good, try
We would love to review it!

Not that I noticed, It got a bit confusing as OBS saw them all by the same name. Hope it works for you.

@@RevisionMedia I understand. Many churches are experiencing odd times. Be encouraged. Our best days are ahead of us.
Stream yard is a great space there is an until it’s out a monthly fee that is a great alternative that we have been researching for our clients.
