Hey Aj.. I've been a follower since covid first struck.. Hehe.. my question though is, I've been volunteering at my church for 7 years now and when I was starting the only job was sound mixing and displaying lyrics and bible verses on the screens. Since covid, my work increased tenfold. how do I go about requesting for compensation now since I am required to be there every 4 days in a week? I am an Adventist and our service goes for upto 12 hours every Saturday.
@@AJaytheCEO Hi AJ! I have been trying to connect the PTZ controller to the church camera for the past few months and would like some assistance. I’ve watched plenty of videos, but for some reason I haven’t succeeded. God Bless and I hope to hear back soon🙏🏾
Thk u AJay, our church needs a big upgrade , I guess I’m the tech guy so from what I’ve seen so far about the latest greatest is the ip PTZ cameras and controller,, we have a pov switch in the sound room already just need to run Ethernet to each camera that we are gonna run, point being your video helped me,, Thk you again !
Great video. The pre- install process makes everything go easier one you get too the site. I am using just about the same gear in my installs. I am sending my clients to your site for the training videos. Great work!!
Thanks for a great video again; the mockup is great to see how "simply" things go together - the software is another issue. Good luck on the install and your upcoming break (finally got last week's Friday episode viewed.)
Can you show us a multiple camera install? I guess I'm looking for a way to capture the entire church. Meaning the pastor musicians and of course the congregation but at different times. Or do you have a video for that? I love these cameras so preferably using them. Excellent training by the way.
Great video! Can you do a video on the recommended settings of the PTZ Camera? Like the shutter speeds, white balance etc…. Or if you already have one direct me to it. Thank you!
I have 2 PTZ cameras, the joystick and Atem Mini. I want to set this up at my church. We have the M1 Mac Mini at church and I use Ecamm Live to stream. I know I’ll need the long cables to place connect the cameras in the church. Are the camera plugged into the ATEM mini separately or are they connected to each other? I’m trying to teach myself how it is connected so I can share with my pastor. He’s great at installing but he’s not a tech person. I need to be sure o have everything I need.
AJay, do you have an existing video on how you are using the 2 wireless cameras to show your work in progress (the mini action action camera and the larger one) ... thanks in advance!
This was fun to watch! Is your "action cam" a Go Pro? It's so small! :) Would you show how to record a stream using a similar setup? Thank you! Well done.
Very informative But I have a Challenge using this in my Church, we have two PTZ cam and a normal sony Hd camera. I don't know which equipments I'd need to do the connection cause we would be using them for live streaming.
I don't understand your question. Everything in this video covers the equipment you would need and even adding the camcorder, you just need an HDMI cable long enough to connect it to the ATEM along with the PTZs
Hey Ajay! I'm installing 3 of these cameras for the first time pretty soon. Do the cameras NEED an HDMI cable to a video switcher, or can it all be controlled through POE? I don't have a video switcher in my case, but wondering if it's easier or necessary to do it that way
The HDMI has nothing to do with control. The HDMI is only for video. The Poe connection gives power, network access and control. If you do not have a video switched or capture device to accept the HDMI then you can get video over the network too but traditionally it is Allie and requires you to delay your audio to keep it in sync with the video
@@AJaytheCEO got it. Is there a certain brand and length of HDMI cable that you go for? Have you ever used HDMI extenders using ethernet cable and had success?
Many cameras will do NDI, which is video over the network. If you're using that, you don't need HDMI to the camera, but you need a switcher or software that can ingest NDI - like OBS or ProPresenter. I don't think any ATEM Mini switchers support NDI. There is a slight delay - maybe 10~50ms, so HDMI or SDI is still better if it's available. If you're just using OBS, NDI should be fine. You can delay audio to match. I've used up to 50' regular HDMI cables, but would never recommend that. He uses a fiber optic HDMI which is far more reliable. Yes, you can get Cat-6 extenders for HDMI and they do work, but also not something recommended. If you have a long-distance run and just need 1080p60, I'd recommend switching to SDI. RG6 cable is cheap and BNC isn't too difficult to crimp. You'll still spend a bit on SDI converters if it's not built into your camera. We went with an SDI capture card instead and I'm about to request a PTZ camera which will eliminate the converters we're using. I've watched a few of AJ's videos - just trying to find the right low-budget camera.

Hi Ajay - Need your help with an issue I have come across. I don't get no Audio in my Live Stream using the Atem Extreme Iso. I have set my Audio to Line for Mic 1 as advised in this Video. My Audio is coming from the Mixer. I have come out from Group 1 2, which are 1/4 inch output From a Yamaha MGX12SU mixer. So it's two 1/4 inch outputs on the Mixer and the other end of the cable is a 3.5mm jack, which plugs into the Atem. All the channels on the Mixer are on but I get no sound, when I turn the Mic1 to Microphone from line on the Atem I get sound to my output screen. Any ideas what it could be that's causing me getting no Audio? When using Line on the Atem?
Thanks AJay for the video. I have purchased and installed 2ptzoptics move4k, POE switch, ptzoptics controller, bmd atem mini, monitor and windows pc running OBS. Ran into two problems. Using POE and fiber hdmi I don't get video to OBS or the monitor connected to atem. Checked source and Display ends of cable. Have camera video system set to 0 no video and tried 2, no video as well. Guessing frame rates aren't compatible? Only way I have been able to stream using NDI. Would like to go through atem. Please Help!
Can you confirm you are getting anything from the ATEM with the computer, does it show up with software installed? Also change ATEM from auto resolution to 1080p60
@@AJaytheCEO Thanks for getting back to me. In OBS, under OBS the capture device Blackmagic Atem is visible. When I select that source, video feed is not showing. Thank you I will try changing auto resolution.
