I had xt3 for 4 years and decided to buy xt4 for ibis and flippy screen , I returned it when i compared the MULTI af , xt3 is capable of focusing on multi on the very thin smoke of a cigarette , on a thin pen that you put in front of a camera (close) , xt4 didnt do that, it just ignored it , same is happening on xh2s whatever the firmware. On xt3 I always filmed in MULTI (models, objects , it focused everytime on what was closer to the camera ) (I know people are saying multi is awful ,but for me it worked and it was a very important thing for me). I also discovered that xh2s is noisier than xt3/xt4 both in photos and videos. (Not by much, but clearly visible, tested with the exact same exposure settings). I recommend xt3 to everyone who wants to get into pro cameras. I had the battery reset on xt3 on multiple cameras , From my experience the issue was the bad batteries, If you wait 3 seconds after turn off the xt3 and switch it will not happend, if you swich battery very fast sometimes it will reset .Great video man :D .
thanks for watching. honestly I have almost no experience using multi af. Used it once on the X-S10, it did not manage to focus on the subject (only one person in frame, 18-55 f2.8) and the whole 17 minute interview clip was out of focus. since then I never used multi again. As for the noise, yes the x-h2s is slightly noisier but its to be expected, as its a stacked sensor they tend to be a bit worse with that.
@@perhat22photo I dont know about xs10 , i only used xt3 xt4 and xh2s. On xt3 all my headshot/model videos were with multi+faceye and never hunted with speed -1 tracking +3.
Been using 2 XT-3’s with battery grips since 2018. The build quality on the XT-3’s are good, & much better than the XT-5, & the latter, does not offer a battery grip. Firmware issues with the XH2-s have dampened my desire to consider upgrading my camera bodies.
Do you find Lightroom not as good for developing you Fuji Raw photos? I do see a difference when I develop using Affinity Photo. I currently have an iPad editing work flow.
unfortunately I don't have the X-T4 with me anymore, but from my experience video quality is completely the same, no real difference as its the exact same sensor and processor.
@@perhat22photo Thanks for the reply. I mean comparing the xt3 and the xt4 to the Xh2-s. What I'm seeing it seems like the dynamic range and quality of the Xh2s just seems a lot better
@@MatthewHatjakes i missread the first comment. X-H2s video quality is definetely much better, flog 2 and gives much better gynamic range, the stacked sensor takes out most of the rolling shutter, and colors are even better as its 4:2:2 10-bit compared to 4:2:0 10 bit on the xt3/4. Still not a huge difference in terms of immage quality but definetely a stepup. For me the biggest upgrade is usability and ease of use when it comes to the body design and speed of the camera.
@@perhat22photo no it doesn’t ? … im sitting here with my XT3 right now :) It’s only on Fujifilm X-H2s, X-H2, X-T5, X-S20, X100VI, and X-T50, as well as “newer” X-Trans IV models-specifically, the X-T4, X-S10, X-E4, and X-T30 II

@@edvard2942 I'll try it out on my x-t3, thanks 🙌

Right video at the right time, I am intent on getting the xt4 wanting the side screen, ibis and longer batteries
nice, glad to hear! I'm sure you will enjoy it.
your videos are great man! even tho i wont buy one of the cameras i enjoyed the video. Your photos are super nice and diverse.
thank you! really means a lot 🙌

i tried capture one for a day, didnt see a big difference so decided to stay in lightroom as I have been using it for 10 years

would love to see a video test side by side xt3/xt4 with the x-h2s. Haven't seen anything like that. Thanks for the video!

Is an upgrade from xt2 to xt3 worth it?
I have never used the X-T2 so I could not really tell. Judging from the specs i would say for video it definitely is, for photos I don't know.
@@perhat22photo I would agree. If you aren't interested in video the X-T2 is just as good for still photography. Some people even prefer it.
XT4 has 2 more film sims “Bleech bypass and Classic Neg”
the T3 has bleach bypass, but you are right about classic neg 🫡
