I'm a fellow mft user myself and I love using my little hybrid camera.. But having said that, the video samples you showed us are just amazing.. Especially the montage sequence at the end.. And that soundtrack went so well with it..!
Im glad it did too! Thank you! It's a lot of fun putting together these videos and I definitely like to actually live up to the term "cinematic", a term I feel most youtubers really dont live up to ;)
Ok. Never, EVER have I reached the end of a review for any piece of equipment of any kind, and wanted to watch it again immediately. You got talent my friend, hope to see you move on to even bigger things!
Thank you for this lovely video-supremely executed, wonderfully narrated, and hugely inspiring. I absolutely love how thoughtful your channel is and the editing is truly superb.
dude.. This is definitely the best video from a channel under 10k subscribers, that i have seen this year. Hands down.. really ;) Congrats! I can see you took your time with it.. and it shows. I am a photographer, rather than a videographer (which i reluctantly have been exploring) and i must say your shots (on both areas of expertise) are really good. I would name the open-doors train shot @1min as one of my favourites. The 6:56mins shot of the man/woman on the brightly-lit underpass_ great shot! Most of your Architecture & street shots are really really good. You've got a nice aesthetic sense, as i find your approach to colour-saturation NOT over the top..as a lot of ppl, out there.. specially RUclipsrs ..tend to have. It seems unbelievable that you've only got 9.9k subscribers. Really solid video man, with conceptual & cinematic stuff, lenses-AF performance testing/footage.. and sth tangible to say _ "I only need this ONE camera." -> and yes.. it is the Fujifilm X-T3. Hell,.. Fuji should be paying you.. hehe.. The woman walking with the wheeled luggage against the fog background is really good, and my video favourite is the footage by dawn, on the boat&harbour.. specially the frame where you got the fish. The last frame is also good, zooming out, with the mics and miscellaneous gear, in the foreground. ;) What about the music. Did you do that yourself.. did you get it from a service.. Pretty swell, too ! (PS: The slow-motion frames with the elevator doors opening is under fluorescent lights, and sensor banding is severe, though. ) PPS : Subbed, evidently..
Loving this channel. I use to be a Fuji xt3 shooter and moved onto Sony a7rIV. Though I wouldn't say it was a bad switch as a landscape photographer. It definitely wasn't the right one for me. I miss Fuji, the dials, the COLORS!!! everything about it and constantly reminding me how fun it is to have that camera in hand. Glad to see a really well put together channel promote Fuji. With that said, I've been trying to sell all my Sony gear and hopefully soon return back to Fuji.
It always feel good to hear some love for Fuji APSC gear. Been using Fuji gear for over 4 1/2 years and continue to enjoy using all that I have. Thank you for posting this video - greatly enjoyed it.
This is the best produced review of a camera I’ve ever seen 👏👏👏 I had a chance to try out the XT3 a few weeks ago and I agree with you, it’s probably one of the best camera available
I have got an X-T3 recently, I am blown away by the build quality, ergonomics and images from it. Still getting used to it and the way it works in specific areas like BKT and which film simulations do what. But it is an amazing piece of kit!
Absolutely blown away by your images!! Got the X-T3 just before the summer and it's by far the best and most satisfying digital camera I've used. Great video!
Fantastic images you start showing from 0:50 !!! Those neon light colors and how each of the scenes looks so cinematic! They could be stills from a near-future cyberpunk movie! Keep up the great content!!
Great footage and review. I have the X-T3 for almost a year, but lost inspiration to go shoot on the X-T3. Your review just lit the fire to my creativity and I’m heading out to do some creative work on the T3. Thanks!!!
Damn.. that B roll was nearly a movie trailer. You have the senses dude! The shots, the tones and the score. Captured me right within the first 5 seconds.. I already own and love the X-T3, but, more than glad RUclips recommended this. You've got my sub dear sir.
That was an incredible review. Great cinematography and editing. I was considering replacing my Sony a6300 with another Sony, but this makes me reconsider. Although a whole system change can be very costly. Keep up the great work!
You know what, I don’t really care about XT3. I’m here for your amazing photography and cinematography. Best photography channel in my option and you deserve more audience. Keep up the great work! That said, any thoughts on the upcoming X-Pro 3.
hahahah This comment is awesome! Thank you! I really want to try and broaden this channel out to more than just gear but Im having a hard time figuring out how to do it while maintaining the moody sci-fi style. I think the X-Pro 3 is going to be awesome. I love the screen since it emulates using a film camera more and as long as it folds down and I can use it to shoot video then I'm all in. Hopefully the video specs match the XT3, and if they do I will switch to the X-Pro. I loved shooting with my X-Pro 2. It made me WANT to shoot with it all the time. Cheers and thanks for the support!

Well GX, you've convinced me to purchase an X-T4. I'm a Sony A7III shooter and use mine professionally, I've been patiently waiting for the mythical A7SIII to arrive but have fallen on deaf ears. I'm buying the X-T4 and running it more in a full frame style for video and then having it as a fun photo camera to run around with. Thank you for the cinematic B-Roll. It's very underrated and you deserve more subscriptions.
WOW!!!! What an awesome review and the content you provided was some of the best I've seen on RUclips. The image quality and video quality is up there with the latest and greatest. Makes me wonder why I would ever need to upgrade.
Thank you so much! I still have not upgraded from my xt3! It’s still an amazing camera today and the image quality (minus the low light) is equal to the A7s3 easily
Your videos are all outstanding, I get such a feeling of excitement and anticipation when you upload it's insane. Keep up the amazing work because I'm loving it.
Amazing video! As a fuji xt3 shooter myself I got really inspired watching this. The images you create in both video and stills are beautiful. And I really dig the sci-fi vibe!
Fully agree with you, I have used my XT-2 for 3 years, and not a single moment, I feel unprepared. I have been in the rain, the snow, the windy and after more than 160,000 pictures taken, I still love it much more than other cameras. (90% of the time, I shoot on 56mm 1.2) The video feature on XT-3 is really attractive, and your good works really push my desire to upgrade really hard. Great video !!!
You gotta love how rugged they are! The video features is what sold me on this camera too, as I was using the X-Pro 2 for my videos before this because of the 4K firmware update they did and the amazing color.
I have to say that the only reason that I've been considering getting a full frame, instead of the X-T3, is the low light capability but damn, after seeing this I don't think that I should be that worried if I end up going with the Fuji...
I own an X-T2 and got a Sony A7r II (both are quite old) and was quite sad to see that the low light capability was not better on the Sony, despite my expectations (but the definition is, of course, a bit better, because of the size of the sensor and the additional MPX)
Nice video and good summary of the strong points. I wish that the X-T3 had just a bit more dynamic range, which is why I am still sticking with my a6500 for now. Granted, the SLOG on my 8-bit sony means that I lose a LOT of color information in the highlights. And I get more noise in the shadows when compared to FLOG (at least in the sample footage I have been able to play around with). If Fuji releases a firmware update that helps increase the DR of FLOG further, then I would probably jump ship.
I haven't noticed a big difference in dynamic range between Sony and Fuji. Techincally with the way you should be exposing S-LOG correctly you end up with a but less dynamic range than you might think. ruclips.net/video/jRI40Gl4I8g/видео.html
Seriously I’m probably not going to change out of my system right now- but these videos are so well done. I enjoy just watching your edits and hearing your opinions.
I use a Canon SL1, and I am surprised at how cinematic some of my shots have been, with the right lighting and right exposure, even a $200 camera helps. It's an APS-C as well.
I finally found you!!! I watched one of your videos time ago and I loved it but I couldn't find your channel again and boom! Here you are. I can't understand why this channel isn't big but I will share it. I wish you could post more often!
Hahaha. I'm glad you found me again!! Thank you so much for the support. I've been trying to find the time to make content more often but its been a little harder than I would like. I'm hoping to ramp up production soon though :)
I absolutely love my XT3, hands down best purchase ever. I previously had a Canon M50, and this was an unbelievable upgrade. keep up the awesome videos!
Whenever I watch a camera gear video, I automatically skip the first 20-30 seconds because I can't stand the obligatory "HAY WUTS GOIN ON GUYS" intro and energy. Well done for being different. Oh and your production and style are good etc etc :p
ya totally, like Cody Blue camera reviews. Reminds me of Bethel Aszuza evangelical movement funded by Talmudic social engineers wanting to spread more Utopian la-la-land fantasy to maintain the Usury status quo through false theology of Televangelists waving capes around "healing" planted actors.
This may just be my favorite video review of a camera ever. Hits that needed balance of examining the technical performance of the X-T3, while also demonstrating the sheer level of artistry that can be achieved with the camera. I previously was planning on getting a Blackmagic Pocket 4K as my next camera to upgrade from my Panasonic G85, but my current circumstances and possible job opportunities where I live indicate that I’d be much better off investing in a hybrid camera rather than strictly a cinema camera. To that end, as you point out wonderfully here, Fujifilm is just flat out ahead of the pack. There’s genuine SOUL to these cameras, man!
Just bought a x-t3 and wanted to watch some more reviews on it after the fact. But my god man, you are talented with the cinematography. The edit at the end was absolutely riveting.
I feel like you are sitting in a spaceship in all of your videos. And you, my man, you are something else. I wish, your talent doesn't go unappreciated and you would gain more subscribers. Because this is art in it's truest form.
I have! Its awesome actually. I shot a Sponsor reel for a film festival with the Fuji and anamorphic and it turned out awesome. I might post it here but it may be too different from my other content.
Best XT3 video on youtube. Such good production quality! Bravo. I switched from full frame earlier this year and now have a pair if XT3s, the 50-140, and am working on completing my collection of the Fujicrons. Looking forward to a fujicron/ronin sc video rig. No need for full frame. No looking back.
Thanks! You can definitely get great footage out of both, but I like having the smallest possible camera I can, so for me its the XT3 all the way! Also, cinema cameras dont have IBIS so why should I need it?
I'm a noob filmmaker but I'm learning, I can totally agree with your points. I also think the same, if you take my APSC camera and I take your super high end cinema line camera. Your footage will still be plenty of times greater what makes me think more of an experience and creative hustle rather than fancy ass gears.
A year and a half later, new to your channel, but I have to say it, this is the most engaging and visual camera review that I've ever seen, loved every second of it.
When it comes to photography - do you shoot in raw most of the time? Also, when you do video production with this bd boy, what is your rig setup? Do you use a SmallRig type of rig? Handheld, gimbal etc? I’d love to see more videos by you and I’ve been following for s long time :)
I have my XT3 setup to shoot raw plus jpeg to separate cards. Its a toss up if I end up using the jpeg and just editing it on my phone or wait until I get to a computer to edit the RAW. I don't usually use a rig for shooting since I don't like the extra weight. I did recently get a cage and some mounting stuff for the camera but this will be used for my in-studio stuff only. I also really dont like gimbals out of principal. People use them WAY too much and it really just makes their stuff worse in my opinion; the camera is always just floating around.
GxAce Great advice - I’m guessing due to not rigging, you tend to shoot internally rather than using a recorder like the Ninja V? Also, when you shoot handheld, do you tend to shoot 24P and 60P? Just trying to figure out how other professional shooters using this camera use it - in regards to settings it up for shooting and how they actually use it.
What do you think; do you need full frame to get cinematic looking images?

I'm so glad RUclips recommended me your post.. It's one of those days when the YT algorithm actually worked for me.. Loved the video samples..
Thank you very much! I'm eternally humbled by comments like these. :)
normally I don't comment on any yt-video I watch often, but this video is by far the best xt-3 video I've ever seen!
Well thank you for taking the time! You are far too kind. Thanks for watching!
Just when you thought there were enough camera talk channels :O Amazing camera presence and the most cinematic B roll ever!
Hahaha. I agree that there are too many, but I wanted to make sure I could throw my hat into the ring before it was too late ;P Thank you!!!
dude..
This is definitely the best video from a channel under 10k subscribers, that i have seen this year. Hands down.. really ;)
Congrats!
The last frame is also good, zooming out, with the mics and miscellaneous gear, in the foreground. ;)
What about the music. Did you do that yourself.. did you get it from a service.. Pretty swell, too !
(PS: The slow-motion frames with the elevator doors opening is under fluorescent lights, and sensor banding is severe, though. )
PPS : Subbed, evidently..
XH2 is here waiting for you :)
It always feel good to hear some love for Fuji APSC gear. Been using Fuji gear for over 4 1/2 years and continue to enjoy using all that I have. Thank you for posting this video - greatly enjoyed it.
They really stepped up their game with this camera, that's for sure! Thanks for watching!
This is the best produced review of a camera I’ve ever seen 👏👏👏 I had a chance to try out the XT3 a few weeks ago and I agree with you, it’s probably one of the best camera available
That is a very high standard to live up to for my next video hahaha thanks for watching!
I have got an X-T3 recently, I am blown away by the build quality, ergonomics and images from it. Still getting used to it and the way it works in specific areas like BKT and which film simulations do what. But it is an amazing piece of kit!
Instant fan. You’re video quality is out of this world. You just gained a sub.
Thank you so much! I hope to only increase the quality as I find more time to make these videos!
Okay, I don't know where you decided that all your videos need to have the aesthetic of cyberpunk dystopian noir, but holy moly am I LOVING IT.
i just bought the X-T3, so when you posted this i knew it was the right choice. you make some awesome videos and i wish you would post more
Thank you! I wish I would too. Real life has been getting in the way recently but I'm hoping to figure out a way to dedicate more time to youtube.
Absolutely blown away by your images!! Got the X-T3 just before the summer and it's by far the best and most satisfying digital camera I've used. Great video!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you are liking the cam!
Best camera I've owned but you just made me fall in love with it again on a whole new level! Fantastic review
Glad I could be of service ;) Thank you!
Fantastic images you start showing from 0:50 !!! Those neon light colors and how each of the scenes looks so cinematic! They could be stills from a near-future cyberpunk movie! Keep up the great content!!
That’s my goal with those photos so it looks like I succeeded :)
Great footage and review. I have the X-T3 for almost a year, but lost inspiration to go shoot on the X-T3. Your review just lit the fire to my creativity and I’m heading out to do some creative work on the T3. Thanks!!!
That's amazing to hear!! Get out and shoot!! :D
I dig your style... it's gritty cyberpunky and yet it feels very warm...
Masterpiece of craft. Just rewatched intro for the third time! 🔥🔥🔥
Wow! You may have just set a record! thank you so much!!
Haha me too! Great job man
Damn.. that B roll was nearly a movie trailer. You have the senses dude! The shots, the tones and the score. Captured me right within the first 5 seconds.. I already own and love the X-T3, but, more than glad RUclips recommended this. You've got my sub dear sir.
Thanks!! I'm glad you dig the style too! I'm glad youtube recommended it to you :) Thanks for the support!
dude, this is the coolest review i've ever watch
Thank you for watching then!
You’re videos are incredible. This one right here is the reason I’m a proud owner of the XT3!
Thanks so much! Its an awesome camera, you should be proud :)
That was an incredible review. Great cinematography and editing. I was considering replacing my Sony a6300 with another Sony, but this makes me reconsider. Although a whole system change can be very costly. Keep up the great work!
It definitely can be costly! I try to invest in manual focus lenses so I can use them on any system :) Thank you for watching!!
Watching this 2 years later and it brings back fond memories of my time with my
X-T3
Are you sitting in a space ship? 😄 Looks awesome mate 🔥
Possibly :) Thanks!
this sold me!! such an amazing well put together video!! subbed!
dude your set design when you speak to the camera looks so cool, id love to see a video of how you set that up
Its too embarrassing to talk about. Soooooo handmade hahaah
@@GxAce thats hollywood baybayyy!
@@ryansulak For sure ;)
pretty sure you actually live in a spaceship ;)
wow this video is just mesmerizing. this is not a product review. this is art.
Hahahah. Thank you!!
GxAce Look how “media division@ does it on youtube. Very unique & moody
a year ago. i watched this video for the first time now 1 year later ive watched it 7 times and.. i still love it way too much i really want to become just as talanted as you are! Your a great inspiration and i love your work. you have motivated me countless times to go out and shoot and create art.
"I hope morning will coming soon"
this video gives me the vibe that after the sun goes down, it will never rise again for a long-time period
Absolutely blown away by both your photography and your cinematography! Loved it.
Thank you so much for watching!!
This video just screams quality my man, amazing
I'll try not to scream it next time. Maybe just a conversational volume ;)
Gobsmacking cinematics at the end there mate, awesome review, makes me wish I hadn't dedicated to Olympus.
Thank you! Most cameras are awesome these days. Just focus on the light and you will make awesome stuff regardless of the camera :)
WOW!!!! What an awesome review and the content you provided was some of the best I've seen on RUclips. The image quality and video quality is up there with the latest and greatest. Makes me wonder why I would ever need to upgrade.
Thank you so much! I still have not upgraded from my xt3! It’s still an amazing camera today and the image quality (minus the low light) is equal to the A7s3 easily
i'm working on my long term review as well. I was trying to be the first one on youtube, but you beat me lol. Awesome visuals as always!
I'm looking forward to your video! Thanks for the kind words!
The production quality on this channel is through the roof.
Amazing video mate, thanks!
Your videos are all outstanding, I get such a feeling of excitement and anticipation when you upload it's insane. Keep up the amazing work because I'm loving it.
Wow! That’s awesome!! I hope I can keep you excited with my future videos
So glad youtube recommended you, best thing e v e r
I'm glad it did too!! Thanks!!
Amazing video! As a fuji xt3 shooter myself I got really inspired watching this. The images you create in both video and stills are beautiful. And I really dig the sci-fi vibe!
Im two paychecks away from getting this camera. I’m so excited 😩😩😩
You are almost there!! :D
Fully agree with you, I have used my XT-2 for 3 years, and not a single moment, I feel unprepared.
I have been in the rain, the snow, the windy and after more than 160,000 pictures taken, I still love it much more than other cameras. (90% of the time, I shoot on 56mm 1.2)
The video feature on XT-3 is really attractive, and your good works really push my desire to upgrade really hard.
@@Baudryvincent really? We hear so much about the low light capabilities of Sony... Another nail in the coffin I guess
@@FilipeSalgueiroo I'm not saying Sony is not good, I'm saying Fuji is pretty good too :)
Best video on the xt3 on RUclips, and I've sure as hell seen all of them. Kudos!
I'm sorry to have added one more to your watch list! ; P Thanks for watching!
Absolutely! All cameras are good these days
You have to show us ur settings for the Fuji xt3 and editing !!!
TERRY CO I’d love to see that as well.
just 24p 1/48 and eterna :) Sometimes 60fps but always 180 degree shutter
I'll make a video about it sometime soon!
Where'd you find the backdrop for these shots, within the first min I was just in awe. Digging the dark dystopia theme.
Its too embarrassing to reveal right now. Sooooooo low budget hahahah
Just bought a x-t3 and wanted to watch some more reviews on it after the fact. But my god man, you are talented with the cinematography. The edit at the end was absolutely riveting.
I'm glad you found my video! I also watch reviews after buying a camera to pump myself up about it haha. Thanks for watching!
Wow This is amazing
Thank you so much!!
I feel like you are sitting in a spaceship in all of your videos. And you, my man, you are something else. I wish, your talent doesn't go unappreciated and you would gain more subscribers. Because this is art in it's truest form.
sick sick sick ! have you got to try any anamorphic lens setups on it yet ?
I have! Its awesome actually. I shot a Sponsor reel for a film festival with the Fuji and anamorphic and it turned out awesome. I might post it here but it may be too different from my other content.
When your video is better than the product promotional video itself
Lovely review and information about this camera. What is the name of the song you have in the background at the end of the video?
Thank you! I'll have to double check on the song!
Brilliant review!
How do you think the XT-3 compares with the X-H1?
Hey Casey, whats a good flat color profile to shoot on fuji cameras for grading in post!
I have a fuji Xt100
@@GxAce Also, another question - how the hell do I attach straps to this - specifically, the Peak Design anchors? :D
Dude, your aesthetic next level. I literally had chills. It felt other worldly.
Wow! That's intense. I was hoping it didn't just feel like I was rambling on for 11 minutes
How did you black out (or remove) the Fujifilm logo?
Just a bit of gaffers tape!
Wow what a way to convince an audience to get a camera! You definitely sold me!
Incredibly talented and your efforts are not unnoticed!
Jade Lively thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement!!
