      So start with 7:30! then to 7 and then to 6;30. i'm sure it will workout, but don't forget to sleep early as well. otherwise the whole day you'll feel tired.

    Pro tip : you're more creative and inspired when you're tired, so usually at night. When you're tired you're less inclined to discard "dumb" or "weird" ideas, making your thought process much more free to roam around.

      I bet you take a nap? But if you go to bed at 930 its literally the same amount of hours of you get up at 7 and go to bed at 1130 which makes no difference at all. So it truly doesnt matter if you wake up early it all equals out to the same amount of time awake

    I’m disabled af, but getting up early to exercise gives me such a productive feeling. No matter how bad the chair feels, I’m pushing it and lifting weights. It’s my own “fu” to the disability. We’re still getting after it

      Memes should be before sleep I'd say 9:30 to 10 pm that way you sleep laughing and happy and tgen the next day you wont feel like watching them cuz you literally did that before you slept so yeah keep the mornings/afternoons for work and productivity and keep the memes/video games/movies/dates at night

      I found that if I manage to sit up and open my eyes in the morning I instantly feel awake and don't want sleep... But the problem is sitting up... It's so warm and nice lying there... Maybe just 5 more minutes.... 15..... 45.... 180.....

    As a nine year old, I find this very inspiring and even though I may not be able to do all of these things at my age, I still try. As I always remember this fraise and remind me it.
    ‘ be the best version of your self. Even when life can be tough.’ Now even since I’m at a very young, you’ll probably say “honey, you have the best part of your life. Your childhood, nothing should be ‘tough’, well let’s just say, you don’t know me and my life. I do want to be a inspiration for people younger than me when I’m older, so for now I need a inspiration, and that’s you.

      You know what, i m really thinking about this. I'm gonna be a english teacher but the only reason I chose this job is the money issue. I'm rarely motivated to do college stuff but i m generally motivated to work at buildings with my dad.

    Five days a week, I'm supposed to get up around 6AM for work and every week I just look forward to those two days when I don't. And I keep hearing about consistency being key with getting up early, but I never seem to be able to keep it up outside of work. Sometimes it's for the best though, because I already don't get enough sleep. It's tough

    I have had much the same experience. Every action is measured by the sentiment from which it proceeds. If you are more productive getting up early get up early. If you can accomplish more and feel your best staying up a little later do so.

    I recently forced myself to wake up early to the point that now I wake at 5:30 everyday without alarm. I practice guitar for an hour. Off to work. Followed by 1 hour in gym. I usually sleep at around 12-1:30. This routine have actually made me more active.

    So what I'm taking from this video is 1. If you want to wake up early you need a compelling reason and the best one is doing something you love. And 2. If you are inspired at night don't wake up early just to wake up early. Go with it when inspiration hits.
    I've struggled with being a morning person because, as I'm doing right now at midnight, I am most interested in researching ideas, learning and being inspired at night. I think there are benefits to being productive by rising early because for the most part the distractions are minimized. However, if I'm inspired at night and do what I love at night then there's no real benefit for ME to wake up early. I can't think of 1 thing that would motivate me on a consistent basis to wake up at 530am. But I can think of a very long list of things that would motivate me to stay up at night.
    Summary, stay up or get up .. the hours are the same if you are being inspired to grow personally whenever you spend those hours.
    Decided to add one more thought on the subject since I'm up 😉. If you are an employee waking up early to have some time to yourself uninterrupted is a smart and probably motivating thing. Because the rest of the day is not your own. If you own a business, depending on the demands of your customers, your time could be more your own. Therefore, taking the 2 hours between 10pm and 12am to be inspired with no distractions or between 6am and 8am doesn't really matter so much. I think having an extra uninterrupted hour to do work productively in the morning is always great but who are we kidding, it's just an extra hour of work. You are still going to work another 8 to 10 hours regardless. So, why not take a closer look at how you are spending the 8 to 10 hours and be more efficient/productive with THAT time (minimizing distractions etc) and just get an extra hour if sleep!

    Wow..i very much can relate 2 what u r saying..u need to have a strong reason for waking up early..luckily i hv found mine..and even i didn't feel sometime waking up early..my reason drives me..and after it's done..i feel very happy and my will power also increases...it has now become nearly effortless 4 me to wake up early. So it's not that u lack motivation..u just need to find a reason..and if u don't have a reason..try doing what u really like..and as u said it should be something that moves u forward.

    This actually works. I recommend doing something slightly physical like taking a walk. If you wake up early and do something that only requires mental energy, you may fall back asleep. At least this was my case.

    the trick to getting up early is simply sleeping early.
    I agree getting enough sleep is important. in fact i don't use alarms. getting too much sleep is bad though.

    Actually I feel motivated by the idea of going to the gym and improve my health, and also meditate! I have two months getting up at 4:10 A.M.
    I personally recommend you to go to bed at 10:30 P.M. if possible, that way doing all this thing of getting up becomes an easy and pleasant habit, and as Mitch said, try to do something that inspires you every single day!

    Very good video! I am 35 years old and I have read many books in my life about personal improvement. What successful people do and how to use that myself. A lot of it is related to getting up early. It never worked, just made me tired and irritable. In the meantime I understand that I have to follow my own biorythm. Just because I don't get up at 5 a.m. doesn't mean I'm lazy or unproductive. I am an owl by birth, nocturnal. Someone who has his peak performance in the afternoon and likes to be awake until 1 am. Getting up early doesn't necessarily mean you're awake longer and get more done. So why should I get up at 5 a.m. and go to bed at 9 p.m.? I can also get up at 7 or 8 a.m and go to bed at 12 p.m. Everybody has 24 hours in a day. What is important is how I use them. What these supposedly successful people do at 5 o'clock, I can also do at 8 o'clock. Yes, I am not the first one in the office or at the laptop, but maybe the last one. 😌

    I wake up 4:30 everyday. I wash my face, brush my teeth, yoga, shower, meditation, read a book, listen to some podcast, and listen to music... All this before 8 a.m. my days are so productive :)

      Not true.. I have 5 kids 3-16 and I get up at 5am and go to bed at 9:30pm I workout and watch TV in peace and there is no danger of binge watching because I got to get moving on morning routine :)

      What would would be better for your body.
      1. Waking up with energy and using most out of it so that youre tired by night and sleep early or would it be better for the body to wake up and be productive towards the time when youre almost out of energy. But everyone prefers their own style. ( I was a night person too)

    I have to wake up at 5:00am because of work.
    It’s not a job I love and I don’t do it simply for the money, I force myself to get up because I want to start a business.
    Yes I need money for that but if it wasn’t for my mindset to start my own business I wouldn’t be able to get up everyday that early and get to work. 6/7 days a week I do that.

    I'm trying to wake up at 6 am every day, and what has been motivating me is a great cup of hot apple cider (sponsor me Mott's!) OUTSIDE on my front porch. I listen to my favorite podcasts and get some of that early morning sunshine. that itself is my motivation.

    According to me it isn't important for everyone to wake up early like mentioned in the video and i totally agree to it. Personally i like waking late up and working full day rather than taking break in the afternoon to sleep coz im kind of night person but this routine must be different for everybody else. So it's important to find what you are really comfortable with rather than jus forcing something onto you..

    Meditation never worked for me, anytime of the day.
    But i absolutely love doing Weightlifting on empty stomach and then going for a brisk walk om empty roads.

    Hey Mitch this was a great take on the early wake up... I've also struggled with it as I'm more of a night person. I'm thinking about doing 1-2 early wake ups per week to start with the "me time" in mind...
