  • This one habit will ACTUALLY change your life. And no it's not something like "Be disciplined" or "Motivated" or "Be grateful" This habit is something that is far more important than any of those.
I think all these habit videos are great, but everyone seems to forget about the most important habit that allows you to feel free to pursue the things that you actually want to pursue.
If you cannot master the habit that I am talking about in this video then there is no point of even attempting any other one (I really do believe this)
If you want to get motivated to make these positive changes in your life than watch this video: • This Simple Trick Will...

I know it's been a while and I'm sorry about that. My lead Animator took a leave of absence and it took a while for me to find someone who can make the animations up to my standards (let me know what you think of this style)
I also got pretty busy with my other business (I don't just create RUclips videos, I can talk more about how I make money online if you guys want)
I'm REALLY happy to be making Mitch Manly videos again though. I wish I could upload more but creating videos this high quality takes a long time.
Thanks so much to everyone who watches my videos, it really does mean a lot to me and I'm very grateful that so many people find my videos at least somewhat valuable.
Mitch Manly wouldn't be around if it wasn't for YOU
So thank YOU for watching, and thank YOU for subscribing.

That matters too but in the study of the facts of why good sleep is essential to health and mood, understand that you need to do a separate study of yourself ... how you can FEEL good about going to bed at a good and consistent time. Make your night rituals as big or small as feels good ... facts are great and good to know... but then you gotta deal with your feelings and feel good about self-Captaining your life. Facts can provide a lot of the why’s. Feelings show you how. Compromise with yourself... set up rewards... give variety... you’ll get there. Main issue is our silly brains crave to stay up and watch stuff, learn stuff... but the brain doesn’t know-you’re literally killing your brain and health and memories and whatever you learned today if you stay up past your daily bedtime....but your MIND knows, so you let that take the lead. Try to think of your brain as a toddler kicking a fit wanting to stay up... but YOU KNOW you’re going to have to deal with the consequences of a cranky toddler brain who can’t concentrate or get anything great done if you don’t get them to bed. Watch some Super Nanny clips of her getting kids to bed 😂 but then be cool to yourself with fun rituals you can look forward to !!!

But then my grilfriend left me, my parents seperated from each other, important people died, my dog died and I‘m living in a facade of being a happy person. I have a lot of anxiety especially in ever meeting my Ex again , because since over 1 year I still have feelings for her. Meanwhile I want to make my life a useful one helping other people and showing what really matters in life. But then I come back in front of my mirror and looking in the eyes of someone who has a lot of fear. I just want to be happy again, make my life important and release all the anxiety out of my heart.

Have you ever poured out your thoughts and heart by Journaling? There's something magical about releasing those thoughts and emotions on paper and then reflecting on them.
You seem like you have a big heart for others and I hope you can give that same love, compassion, hope and grace for yourself. It took me a long time and still learning that happiness, joy and love starts within me... and then it over flows to others and the people in your life get to experience them.
Remember, YOU are WORTHY, YOU are BEAUTIFUL, YOU are ENOUGH, and YOU are COMPLETE in who you are right now.... and as you continue your journey in this life, people will come and go, and there will be a lesson that you can learn from your experience with them, but ultimately it's to grow and evolve you to your higher self.
My environment hardly supported what I was seeking, but ad they say, "when the student is ready, teachers will come"
Somehow, I've come across amazing people, philosophers, healers, authors, and more on RUclips that I listen to daily to remind me, to inspire me, to motivate me...
      Dr. Wayne Dyer
      Deepak Chopra
Super Soul Sunday with Oprah with many amazing people as guests
      Alan Watts
      Mind Valley speakers
      Louise Hay
      Dr. Bruce Lipton
      Impact Theory on RUclips
      Dr. Joe Dispenza
And many more including this Amazing Channel.
I've never commented or shared like this before, however I felt compelled, so I listened to my intuition to write to you.
I wish I had RUclips when I was 20 or had a mentor or knew of these people and resources I've shared with you. It could have prevented a lot of tragedies and pain in my life. Even though, those experiences made me who I am today, I had to choose to change my path and go learn and grow from them. If not, I would still be dealing with the same fears, stress and pain.

I always saw the negative side of my life I always think how my problem will be solved. Now when I have a problem i consider it as a challenge that will make me winner or a learner and I always see how some people look at me as a strong person, a smart one and a wonderful woman. Man. I couldn't have needed this at a better time in my life. Lately I've been pretty much trying this exactly and I've wondered if it's working. For months I felt numb and sad but over time I became happy. That might not sound like a lot but I tried to end my life when I was 13, several other attempts too. I hated myself. But I never gave up. I had a daughter and the feeling never left, so here I am now. For the first time in my life I love myself, I love my life, everything that has fallen apart seems to be mending in ways I never thought possible. Never give up, life is very hard, but it is those who persevere and strive for better who see the light that many claim doesn't exist. Please never give up. If I did I would not be here writing this comment. How wild that a video triggered this response out of me. You might save some people with this video. No lie.

I had similar experience recently when I had to take 4 days off from work just to be alone and process my thoughts and feelings. I used to drink every night to feel good temporarily but that had turned out to be the worst mistake because I was having nightmares every night and didn’t get much sleep before work. My feelings were getting worse when I drank alcohol. But when I took some days off and just relaxed at home without doing anything, I just had a realization and felt so much lighter after that. I literally just laid down on my bed or just eat without much doing anything. I don’t know if that helped but I think I was able to find that inner self that just needed to be found in silence. When I stopped struggling and started to accept everything as they were, I felt pain and disappointment at first but after a while, I became lighthearted. I just became very calm and accepted who I am and the world around me. Am I a better person now than before? Not by much, but I have more clarification now than before.

I can't feel negative or positive feelings. I buried everything for so long, I became seriously depressed. I also served in the military where you are expected to control your emotions at all times. When I completed my military service, I was diagnosed with PTSD and the VA gave me anti-depressants. When I take the pills, I can cope with daily life but I am always in the middle - never really happy and never really sad. If I don't take the pills, my emotions come to the surface and I feel overwhelmed and out of control - which is completely unacceptable in my job and family life. The situation gives me racing thoughts, and I feel like a rat in a maze with no way out. I've been stuck in this cycle for 15 years.

Man, this was so relatable,.I grew up having a broken family where my relatives didn't even want to raise me and my brothers. Nobody wanted to treat us as family knowing my father himself was a jerk. My aunt is pretty much emotionally abusive that's it become normal for me to get yelled or scolded everyday. I just so unhappy and I wish they appreciated for me who am I. But instead I was locked up on my room most of the time cause they never trusted me as a child. They don't like seeing me socializimg with other kids because they think it would turn me into a bad apple. I've got no freedom and my mom was scaring me as a child if I refused to obey my aunt. That was almost 20 plus years and I was really miserable.
I finally escaped their grasp when I began to reach college and one of my older classmates told me I need to get away because I wasn't enjoying and living the time of my life. I was really afraid to stand up for myself but I was happy I did anyway. Maybe one of the best decisiom I've made of my life.
You know, even though I'm finally free,.I wasn't really happy first for no reason. I had chosed a teaching career because my mom used to be one and I got no dream other than being free. But when I was became a public teacher, I wasn't really sure myself if I was really happy. Yes, I got a stable job and money,.I finally have also have a girlfriend but everything feels so empty. So yeah I made a stupid decision of quitting my job and everyone loses their mind. But you know, I finally realized something,.I was just following what was my sorroundings have been dictating me, I made decisions because I thought I was doing the right thing not knowing what does my heart really wants. Yes, I was finally free because I wasn't locked up on my room like I used to be, but I realized I was still a slave because I never listened to my heart. I always used to think I'm being selfish if I made a decision for myself but I guess I overdid it to the point that I don't really don't know what I really want. As for today, I'm struggling for being unemployed but I always believed I could rise up again to support myself financially,.I really did made a questionable move but if people ask me if I quitting my job, I'd say no. Yes, I'm having a financial crisis right now but compared to what I used to have, I'm more motivated and more willingness to do something with my life. I finally appreciated that having problems is normal and happiness always depends on you. We wake up every day,eat and do something before we go to sleep. If you can't appreciate everything you do everyday, you'll never be happy. Because what we do is the reality of our life. We make the mistakes that we always idealized things we want in our life can make us happy than things that we have but never appreciated.

i agree with this so much. its better to feel everything whether its good, bad, or anything in between than to run away from it. escapism is exactly that, escaping from something you dont want to deal with. but you cant ever escape something that is within you. you cant run from yourself forever. at some point, you are gonna have to let it out. and we let out those shoved away feelings by letting them resurface and by feeling them. the volcano analogy in the video was perfect when it comes to describing this. only by settling the score with ourselves, can we really begin to feel happy and free. the video talks about how you have a price to pay to become happy, and how the price is everything in your life. i really agree with that. you cant love anybody unless you love yourself first. happiness doesnt come easy. its a battle, a tough battle. you may be tempted to give up, but trust in the process, its all worth it in the end. all your fighting through your demons will be worth it. better days are ahead of us all. never give up, and never stop fighting for what you desire. stay strong, stay safe, and dream big everybody

I can really get behind this theory. I held on to emotional trauma and baggage for years and it totally inhibited happiness for me.

I am 13, and going through a little bit of shitiness like Mr Ben. And when I followed Mitch's advice and just feel without going on to my phone or television, a wired feeling comes up and after that, I feel better. So thanks, Mitch. This video truly changed my life.

Didn’t even think about this kind of situation, and somehow this video plays next in my auto play. Definitely gave me something to think about, and I’m certainly learning to choose happiness.

As strange as it sounds being At peace is the scariest thing to me since I don't experience it often it doesn't feel right and it made me feel really disconnected to everyone and everything

Thank you for sharing this.. this is my own experience in Philippines. My parents always seeing negative about me. Always comparing my life to everyone else. Then my only way is to talk to my self and how to be successful and have my own family someday..
Now I am working as an engineer in different countries and have my own happy family...after a year, they had realized their actions towards me.
