Lando Norris this star shines brighter and brighter. He is now second on championship and closing the gap.. wow
Leclerc drove a fantastic race. DOTD for me
Lando fans think winning in a machine half a second faster than anything else is more impressive than beating said machine in a far more inferior car from p6
@@aaronmatthis7824 every fans in a nutshell
@@aaronmatthis7824lando beat his teammate by 26s. Thats definitely DOTD.
@@askeladden450 Lando has been given DOTD just for getting in the car for the majority of the races this year
@@dylanburston7453 sure but he definitely deserved it this time.
At least everyone finished the race today 😂😎
Wonderful, atmospheric F1 race track..The compact setting, with tight tilting fast corners are a visual delight
give leclerc a drivable car and this kid will never lose a race, to go from 6th to 3rd in that track on a ferrari in its current state is just pure magic
Man I keep saying, Leclerc is one of the most criticized drivers on the grid. He has a run of bad races (most of it not even his fault) and people hate on him so much. And when he does mighty drives like the few races, it's almost as if they pretend not to see it.
I've always wished he was in the second Redbull to give that Max a run for his money instead of that Perez, but I understand F1 doesn't work like that!!!
@@guilhermefonseca1562 He's criticised because the expectations are so high.
Looking past the old guard of Hamilton and Alonso, it's the trio of Verstappen, Norris and Leclerc who are the three fastest drivers on the grid with Russell and Piastri knocking on the door to join them.
Norris until very recently hasn't had the car to seriously make a claim, but Verstappen has clearly established himself as the driver to beat. Leclerc, while at times showing flashes of brilliance, has made far too many errors in comparison to Max. And yes Ferrari has also made more mistakes than Red Bull over the last 3-4 years, but Leclerc is being criticised because he is being outperformed by Max.
Is it harsh? Possibly, but if you wanna be the best you've got to match the standard currently being set by Max. And he is not, and has not on a consistent basis
@@jameswhitehorn6432 judging by ferraris recent performances, lechoke is going to be another forgotten name. not his fault but it is what it is.
@@noellanangendo5078
But why do we just accept that? Most cars in the field entirely non competitive, racing at half throttle around tracks made for bikes, with so much unnecessary aero that overtaking isn’t worth trying, F1 is a hollow shell of motorsports potential, every other discipline can get it right, why just accept ~ it is what it is ~ its BAD
Daniel doing a great recovery drive!! Car just isn’t quick enough for points today
Norris saying "simply lovley" after beating max by 23 sec is diobolical
I’m actually surprised someone was able to make an 8:00 minute video about this race.

@@sepg5084 if you are happy just because one driver is not winning its different opposed to not being happy if a driver is winning very easily because the car is way better. Well, Lando bottled another race start, but he pulled it back together in the end!!!
well, the curse never ends i guess😂😂
What could he have done? He didn’t react slowly, his car just couldn’t gain as much pace as Max

Carlos Sainz🔥
What a race from Gasly also he was incredible
This was an exciting race congratulations Norris
What a cool season we're having, I've already imagined Lando's and Verstappen's fight for WDC Title in Abu Dhabi
highly unlikely...only possible if Piastri takes out Max in a race or two
even if Lando wins the last 9 races with verstappen coming 2nd in each race, max would still win the wdc by 7 points. unless if Lando takes the points for fastest lap in each race
i wonder where Lando lost those 7 points...
@@UnknownUser-ig7ew or Max 1 dnf
@@UnknownUser-ig7ewit would be interesting to see how calm Max would be though. We saw in Austria and Hungary he lost his cool and very important points.
It would be interesting to see if he can maintain a conservative, long run mindset or if he will try too much again and maybe lost more points
Lando getting the fastest lap at the last lap with used hard tyres. Impressive, he's starting to look like Verstappen
his car is the only thing special about him
@@TedIsBoredd
What about Piastri?
Same with Verstappen. It's 75% car and 25% driver. McLaren are starting to show that. I am a Norris fan though.@@TedIsBoredd
That car os faster than RB was last year. And that shows the fastest lap. Max is king
@@DeutschlandGermany1 Lol you're nuts. Verstappen is indisputably the better driver, and always has been.
Lando really gaining points on Max like a fast Lion.
You need a lion to beat a lion
Hopefully the last race will be decisive, like in 2021.
Theres only 1 Lion and thats Simba
He would have to win over Max for the next 10 races to win the championship! That means, if Max is second, Lando will have to win 10 races to be equal to Max (70 points).
@kevikiru let's just hope for at least one Max DNF. 🤞
6:57 only💪😂
That was an amazing victory. Congratulations Lando ❤
Anyone else think the amount of smoke from the fireworks as they crossed the finish line is borderline dangerous? It is getting dangerously close to obscuring the view of drivers down the order.
Madness, couldn’t agree more.
Even when it's at other sporting events it seems dangerous sometimes, nevermind with cars lol
