were you having pressure in your coolant tank along with the low coolant level? those seem to be the symptoms my truck is having but no noticeable leak
Was this the ultimate fix for the coolant loss? I have a similar slow loss but soft upper rad hose but soot and pressure out the reservoir but only sometimes. Thanks for the video

I believe there was a bit of pressure in the tank, but I didn’t think it was more than there should be in a pressurized cooling system

It was the fix for me. From what I understand it was either a leaky egr cooler or head gaskets. This was the cheaper fix, glad it wasn’t head gaskets.
How did you get the small coolant line off the one next under the intake elbow and the y bridge

what egr cooler did you buy?
Reman unit from the local parts store. Don’t remember if I went with “Standard” or “Cardone”. Whatever opinion they had in stock that wasn’t Dorman.
