DIY Kawasaki Teryx Door Extensions - dimensions
Dude.... I just did it! I used a fein tool and an end grinder. Thank You for showing how easy it is! I forwarded a link from your video to this video to get you some more traffic: ruclips.net/video/8svxHQfdsv0/видео.html Thanks Again!
Great Video! I have an 06 Silverado 3500 It looks like a chore just to get the cover off.
Hey, you utilize what you got to its potential. Damn straight! Mitch Banner Linville NC
Brilliant
I've seen a full sized camper on a flatbed gooseneck trailer before! The guy had his whole business (welder & generator) on with it! He even had room for the toys (grill & ATV)!
Nice set up 👍
Without the popup
Can I run a basic on and off switch with one wire and another wire to just interrupt the starter wire without having a relay ?
Yep
That plate work the grid is the intake air heater-- if it fails, you may see white smoke.
I have wires running to mine. What are they? 1998 Cheyenne
How did you get the small coolant line off the one next under the intake elbow and the y bridge
Take a look at this video I did on cleaning the egr. Maybe I show what you’re looking for on there. LBZ Duramax egr removal and cleaning ruclips.net/video/KSdtAPQcgmg/видео.html
Label your chemicals if not in the original container . Most important
Was this the ultimate fix for the coolant loss? I have a similar slow loss but soft upper rad hose but soot and pressure out the reservoir but only sometimes. Thanks for the video
It was the fix for me. From what I understand it was either a leaky egr cooler or head gaskets. This was the cheaper fix, glad it wasn’t head gaskets.
i have an old ford i use it as a planter it does not have this either - but i respect good technology that still runs
So pin 87 and 86 need to be wired to ground or just left unconnected?
Both need to be grounded
Do you need to buy a relay to add to get the horn to come one or just splice into the horn wire??
You need the relay because you need to turn the 12v from the the starter wires to a ground signal to the horn.
Most appreciated good sir.
Anywhere I can find the torque specs for putting the valve back on?
Thanks
Dude I'm at a impass I've tried ever damn tool I have and I can't get the passenger side front inner bolt, I get a ratchet on it and can't move the damn thing , driving Me nuts !!!!
Yep, that one sucks to get to. If I remember right, the a/c compressor is in the way of getting to it from the front of the engine. Maybe you could cut/drill a hole in the inner fender to get a straight shot at it?
Nice video man thank you My truck is the second run green sh#@t box
good job!
Thanks for sharing. Great video. I believe I have to do this to mine . I already changed out both sensors 😢
Awesome video!!! Thanks for sharing it
HOW BAD DOES IT HAVE TO GET FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON?
Pretty bad I guess, I did the same thing to a friend’s truck because he had an egr code. His didn’t seem much worse than dad’s truck, but it must have been to throw a code.
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Scratch-resistant Windshield for your 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 750
I’m interested, I’ve been using a half windshield for a while but interested to see the difference a full windshield makes.
@@ThatllDoEngineering Hii, thank you. please share your con tact way
Thatlldoengineering@mail.com
If your egr is clogged up your intake ports are just as bad . Pull the heads for good cleaning studs and fresh gaskets along with egr delete .
Could I just use one of the Sea Foam upper intake cleaner cans with straws work? I know it does miracles for gas engines.
I don’t know that it will work as well as a thorough cleaning but I would think it would help clean out some of the mess
Do you know if teryx wheels will fit in my can am maverick x3?
The Teryx wheels are 12mm lugs where some of the Can-Ams are 10mm lugs. Other than that the only difference might be back spacing.
@ThatllDoEngineering the reason I'm trying to figure out is because my can am don't fit in my toy hauler so I'm trying to buy some cheap wheels I think it can fit
I’ve seen people use golf cart wheels just to get their machine in and out of a trailer, but you might have to drill new holes because they are usually 4x4 bolt pattern where yours is 4 x 137
Did the camshaft sensor cured your intermittent starting problems
Yes
Magic Fingers! Magic Result. I have an LBZ and it is emissions exempt in PA.
were you having pressure in your coolant tank along with the low coolant level? those seem to be the symptoms my truck is having but no noticeable leak
I believe there was a bit of pressure in the tank, but I didn’t think it was more than there should be in a pressurized cooling system
I have the same 1999 4.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV and it has the same fault. Did you only change the camshaft sensor or did you also change the crankshaft sensor?
Only the cam sensor, haven’t done the crank sensor but from what I’ve see it’s more difficult to get to.
Hi .new subscriber . My 2005 duramax keeps failing emissions in CT. Always passed .im so close to passing acored a 48 and 40nis max allowable ...ive owned the truck fornjust acouple of years..passed twice .i cleaned k&n air filter .changed oil .changee fiel filters .ran a chemical fule system cleaner ... im not much of a diesel guy ..my diesel mechanic buddy said maybe my pcv or egr are dirty ..truck has an MBPR exhaust and a cold air intake i forget the brand... and i realized i havent touchee pcv or egr in 5 years and im a contractor so truck gets worked ...any suggestions and help are GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKYOU Frank .
As you saw in the video the intakes on this truck get pretty clogged with oil and soot. Probably worth your time to clean it. If the veins in your turbo were stuck like mine were it would throw a code. I’ve been using Hot Shots every day treatment in my fuel for a while.
Good job
What a mess....this a perfect example as to why it needs to be deleted..I understand some states tie Your hands on it tho..
I have a 09 LMM and thinkin of just deleting the EGR as long as I get someone to re-program the computer then I'll get better flow without all the gunk buildup in the egr, also I know I'll have to get another intake tube from my K&N filter to the turbo
I’d love to do that but need it for smog
Awesome video. I have a 2001 Silverado 5.3 and I seen you spliced the yellow cable from the ignition switch. All this was done before it getting to the crank fuse correct?
I’d have to double check if that’s before the crank fuse, but I believe it is.
Thank you so much I have taken mine off cleaned it everything moves smoothly! Then I'll put it back in and drove it for 70 miles then the code came back on😢 is there a way to test to see if the veins have locked up again without removing the turbo.
If you look back at the 9:30 mark in the video you where I pulled the plunger an operated the veins, you can do that with the turbo on the truck. Oil will come out of the turbo so throw a rag under it.
Are there any gaskets need to do this?
I didn’t replace any, that’s up to you if your gaskets look bad.
Did it fix the problem???
Yep
Nice thanks for sharing, was just looking for some videos of this place trying to decide where to go to do some wheeling (also in a Teryx) and was surprised to see a video posted today!
👍🥰
mine broke off flush. Ended up having to heat the shaft with propane torch, it softened up and then came out.
What dimensions was that camper ? I have a 7x18 car trailer I put my sxs on and I want to do this same setup. But most pop ups I find are way too long.
Trailer is 7’x16”, camper is 8’ long by 6’ wide. Turned sideways it’s barely under the legal limit.
Can you show the inside of the airbox lid? Did you just JB weld the elbow?
Yes I used jb weld on the plastic elbow. I forget what all I used to seal off the tube to under the dash, I believe some aluminum tape was used.
Turtle wax sanding pad … I’ll be doing this on my 04 in the morning
Not sure where you live, but just delete it. More power, better mpg, engine will last longer. Dang, it's been so long since my engine bay looked like that I almost forgot what it used to look like. If you live in a less free state, purchase a large ultra sonic cleaner. It'll pay for itself.
Thank you very much helpful
I had one of those yunk reels laying around but i cudnt for the life of me remember how it’s gotta be routed to all the inside hose piece to spin, so good call on the video man now I don’t gotta go buy another reel for my air line just yet
