I literally just did the same thing started with the block off plate and then the oil cooling system. I just came back from Harbor freight and bought the pressure kit. Im going to test it out tomorrow morning because my truck is literally leaking around the transmission just like yours. I was about to give up and call it the head gasket until i pulled up youtube and saw your video. Thanks for documenting this. If you have the part number or name for that hose please let me know thanks.
I had my thermostats replaced and now the coolant level keeps going down. I’ve added about 3/4 of a gallon. Coolant levels never fluctuated before the thermostat replacement.

My 05, the exact same thing, thanks for your video!!! It saved me a trip to the shop!!!
What was the name or part number for that hose? Is there a better replacement for it?
Have to check mine tomorrow 🤞🏻
Me too. I’m going to end up installing. Block off plate.
Nope, neither. Hopefully it’s air, but seems like a lot.

Is there pressure in the cooling system after it sits overnight? Is oil milky?
Did it drop on the floor or evaporate from the engine heat?
Ran through motor valley and dripped on floor off bell housing
do you have to remove the down pipe to replace it?
Yes I had to take downpipe off to get the coolant block off plate changed
