Never Stop Chasing
You all seem much more advanced than the regular weather people. When it comes to knowing, predicting stuff, and precisely where funnel clouds are, chasers must have a personal connect with the weather.
Its kinda like the movie Twister where Bill knows what the storms thinking. Kind of an extra sense some have, everyone has special senses, but alot haven't unlocked them yet
Reed has his PhD and has been chasing for decades.
In my opinion, RUclips has more dependable meteorologists than anything mainstream
Reed is awesome. Been watching him for years! He knows what he is talking about!
He has a Doctorate in Meteorology. This is what he loves.
I don't who I am more scared of showing up in my neighborhood/state Jim Cantore or Reed Timmer....either way you know it is going to be bad if they show up in town ! Great coverage Reed.
And if they both show up then you know it's getting REAL real.
Ain't that the truth!
Honestly the best warning system you can get.
Growing up in Cedar Key, I was taught hurricanes go where Jim goes 😂 took forever for me to learn it's his job to go where they go.
Amazing footage made by Reed Timmer as usual.Great stormchaser🙌
I think you should also thank Brian for the hours of editing, communicating from base and keeping us informed equally.
@@beansontoast5931 True indeed👌
I’ve been watching Reed since he began! He is not afraid of ANYTHING! 😱👏👍
That doesn't mean it's wise if you don't fear anything
@@noobstar5613 Nope!! It means there's "room for dumb moves" at some point lol
Reed's good though!!
Only man I know to intercept a tornado of foot on purpose lol.
Reed is an educated man who is well aware of any potential damger he faces in any given situation. That being said he can minimize his risk some degree by the depth of his knowledge of potential dangers.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he's only been pushing the climate-change agenda for a year now, and has only 10 videos.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Floridian here but not in the direct impact area. Thank you so much Reed for coming to our state to cover this. NSC.
Max surge occurred near low tide during a full moon, could have been even worse if it happened closer to the time of high tide.
One of the best if not the best meteorologists in the US. Also a bit crazy at times taking the big risks. Thanks Reed for being just who you are and having the passion you have in your field.
I agree 💯
Don’t forget the person behind the camera, right?
It’s timmer time
Huge fan Reed! Never stop chasing
that final drone footage was pretty insane considering how those leaves and branches were blowing around!
Thank you Dr. Timmer and crew.
Thoughts and prayers to those in Florida

Nice job Reed. Nice editing once again Brian. Never Stop Chasing ❤
Man the power of wind and waves is just incredible. If you are going to walk in that nasty waster I would wear chest high waders to avoid the nasty bacteria in the water. Something they had to contend with after Hurricane Ian cam through. As usual great video. Fred in Texas
Wicked footage. That must be such an adrenaline rush!
Excellent video Reed, even though at times you scared the shit out of me.
I have been through 5 hurricanes and this is the most realistic and spot on coverage 👌. Reed is the man with the plan as far as I'm concerned with this type of raging weather coverage. The storm surge is so dangerous and do not think you can put sandbags up for that.....Truly a man with no fear who loves the wild side of weather! Me too 😂
This is just amazing weather reporting! Living here in Lake City, Florida and going through several hurricanes and especially the storm of the century in March 1993 this reporting means so much to so many who don’t realize the fury of Water and wind. Thank you guys for putting yourself out there to get this footage💖
Thank you Robin!
Are you guys not wearing waders when you're going into those flood/surge waters? Feels like it would be a lot more safe and comfortable than being exposed to everything in those waters.
Incredible footage, be safe.
Love that little Pecos Hank-y sound track at the end.. one of his?? Great footage as uzh Reed and great voice over Bryan. ❤
Im a fan, of Mr. Timmer's dedication, on location and on point reporting, most notable is Reeds evolution in personal growth and confidence in the profession of weather investigation and storm chasing. I won't tell him to be safe,I'll say keep taking risks keep pushing the envelope, it's fascinating to be part of your audience.
Be well.
Such a tragedy that Cedar Key faced right there. That storm surge really did something to that town. God bless them. Never stop chasing, Reed!
Don't Die! Reed and Company. I like you guys, ya know? The informed bravery, but still it's bravery and the TRUTH of real time reporting! Thanks.
Breathtaking footages. Stay safe always.
Mother nature is no joke. Water is got to be the most destructive thing there is. Hope they flex sealed their doors!!!!
"Is it burning your legs?"....😂 LOL
Thats pretty dang hilarious
This is amazing footage and the way you staged it in hour increments
That's producer Brian
@@darwinsom957 Well then cudoes to Brian
Ya’llzies Stormchasers are crazy & awesome for creating this amazing footage all the time. We appreciate your hard work Reed-all the love from Dallas,T.X. Please come back alive🙏🏽❤
Hope you stay safe on your adventures, Dr. Timmer. ❤😊🙏
Reed is one of the best storm chasers in the history of storm chasing I would say he's in the top 3 best ever and by the time he's done with chasing he will be by far the number one of all time! And he will have set the bar so high that it might not ever be surpassed by anyone in the future!
Thank you Reed. Always watching your youtube live...I like your new format
Your recaps are always so good
I'm reading your book, and I just got to the part where you covered your first hurricane. (Or tried to, in someone's mobile home!)
I feel like things have come full circle.
really puts it into perspective, thanks guys
Reed amazing footage ! Thank you
Just curious. Did you ever consider what would happen to you if a live power line fell into the water you were standing in during a storm? My brother didn't. May he rest in peace. I miss him.
So sorry for your loss. Since we were so far removed from the inner core of the storm, and with the power being shut off, we had a unique opportunity for immersive coverage of this storm surge. So sorry for your loss
Great editing Brian, (and of course much kudos to Reed and his crew. )
Great choice of music for the video,✌️💖
Thoughts and prayers sent to all in the path of the storm
Yeah....thoughta and prayers always seem to fking fix everything huh?
Thoughts and prayers for the all Red State.
@@smittys3069! Don’t be a crybaby
@@teresav3018 You think prayers actually work? Maybe God is a recovering alcoholic from all that water turned into wine and he had a bender for a few days and said screw those people. 😁
@@Hayyyward ha, love it!
I liked the way you showed us at the end, at 8:55, you operating the drone from your 3rd floor hurricane safe "accommodations"! Thank you for showing us the fury of this storm. Prayers to the Nature Coast in their recovery. I won't complain about the king tide 4 foot storm surge as it crept about 3 foot from my back door and then began to recede, from the creek that I live on in Gibsonton. I prayed so hard and God heard my prayers.
Thank goodness it receded!!
That was really intense. Glad you were ok.
Always amazing footage! Always love y’all stuff! Stay safe!!
Much Appreciated Stay Strong and Safe Brother 🙏
Phenomenal job, guys!:)☺️ please be safe ✌️💖🤩
Wowza . Great footage. Once again. !
As Always, brilliant work by Reed and his brave crew. Thank you!!!
"Oh, dont worry. This part of Florida is safe, we haven't had a hurricane in many decades ... yeh right!"
Why do so many people move to Fla? It's dangerous. Those poor people. Some may have lost everything.
Smart to put houses on stilts as I noticed a few were. Thks to Reed for this exciting footage. He must love what he does. Here in upper SC got a little over 1and1/2 inches of rain with little wind so wasn't bad at all. Was expecting more rain.
We love Florida, however we live inland, would never live on the coast(imo) my sister has a place on the beach & she has lots of anxiety with these storms
Great video Reed, Thoughts and prayers for those having to recover from these storms.
OUTSTANDING footage ! You also got the Cadillac the woman left there to float away for what X is saying is insurance fraud, lol. I am SO glad y'all are safe and I hope the surginators help you greatly with your science. N S C 🙏 TY Team Dom
Reed and team , thanks for a well documented story
Man I love Reed.
Amazing footage! Great job Reed and Brian! Thank you for keeping us well informed!
That is some amazing footage and boots on the ground errr maybe I should say galoshes on the ground coverage! Dr. Reed you are fearless! I appreciate and admire you!
I had a good bit of damage from Michael, so I feel for these people. God bless you and help you get back to normal.
Thank you guys for all you do! Such great coverage. Stay safe!
Question for Reed. What kept the storm from being stronger than it was, considering how warm the waters are and conditions did show the possibility of strengthening to a cat 5 storm.
The storm was moving too fast.
Idalia, might not be done. Possibility she could whip back around in few days is what I’m hearing. Let’s hope that’s not the case.🙏🏼
I believe it went through an eye wall replacement cycle at the end but also the warm water in the Bay is a bit shallow
Thank you for the reply Reed.
So glad everyone was safe
Reed you always have the best coverage. Plus your knowledge for the area, is the best.
How many of you waved bk at the guys on the balcony at the end, I did
Crazy that Florida gets Tornados mostly in a Hurricane..
Standing in the Winds with No Cover is nothing i would prefer especially when sharp metal parts whirl through the air
😮😮💨
Stay Safe Brother
Dang Reed! You're always getting amazing footage and also very courageous to go out in that so that we can get an idea of the extent of the storm
This is the most comprehensive footage of the Hurricane I've seen, quite a storm surge and winds. Had it tracked over an even more populated area, the monetary and personal damage would have been horrible with Tampa just to the southeast and other populated areas to the northwest. The hurricane stayed strong into Georgia and South Carolina.
I still remember Andrew--I was in Florida just after, in Orlando, and other hurricanes since. I do not recall as many bad hurricanes in the three decades I was alive before Andrew, but also with population in Florida so much larger, risks have risen.
The storm chasers here did a good job reporting, and have done a service for anyone considering riding out a hurricane near the shore--heed their video message, and do not tempt fate.
Lets hope Florida suffers no more major hurricanes this year!
I mean, it feels like just as soon as they finish up repairing from the last storm, another comes along and wreaks havoc on Florida
Your the Timmer!! #1
Amazing footage
Reed Timmer and his team are my favorite parts of a hurricane.
Excelente e corajoso repórter ! Se de dia uma tempestade já causa pavor, a noite fica mais pavoroso fazer uma filmagem ! Que coisa assombrosa aconteceu na Flórida !
That's no eyewall, that a portapotty
NSC. Always at the forefront of severe weather events. 🌪️🌀
Not a storm chaser but a hurricane chaser! Thank you for sharing your intense adventures!
I chase all storms from tornadoes to hurricanes to blizzards!
@@ReedTimmerWx yeah I knew. I was saying ur advanced chaser. I watch all of ur videos.
Thanks Brian ❤❤
Thank You Reed 😃👍❤️
It’s nice to hear “unprecedented” being used in a new context.
Stay safe Reed!
Wow Reed I’m always amazed with your videos!
Good reporting and explanation of the winds. Subscribed
Ty for this video ❤️
You have to respect the power of mother nature! Simply mind blowing!
Excellent intra and post Idalia storm video coverage. Incredible drone footage showed the devastating flood damage
Another great video Reed
There could be Alligators in them waters couldn't there

Anyone know the name of song and musician?
Awesome reporting guys !!!!
Excellent weather report.

I definitely know to watch these YT weather channels than your local meteorologists. Thank y'all.
Your love of weather I'd admirable! Great footage bro! NSC!!!
Years upon years of having this experience. Build higher and stronger that's all.
I believe the graphic at 7:20 should have read Wednesday at noon, not Tuesday.
Great video Reed!!!
what does lucky winner mean???
First time here - Great editing on this matter. Thanks
Welcome! We must never stop chasing
These guys are brave. No way would I be there. Good job!!!
Brillant, per usual, Reed and Brian...
Thank you for pronouncing Steinhatchee correctly 😁
Love what you and your team does! I can tell you guy's love what you do. ❤ hope I can join you guys sometime:)
