- Raw storm chase mode from Lincoln to Omaha, Nebraska in the Dominator 3 with full #tornado intercept mode. Up-close tornado footage in eastern Nebraska. Severe damage reported in west Omaha down to I80 near Lincoln
Even after all these years, Reed still has to yell like it's the first time he saw a tornado
tornado is always different. so it makes sense to yell likes it's ur first time you saw a tornado but that's tornado is first of its kind and last
I wish I had 1/10th the energy Reed has. Just watching makes me feel exhausted.
I love his enthusiasm!
Also remember it;s probably really loud in the TIV!
Thought about turning around?
Reed, I am the first shift Sergeant for the Omaha VA Police. My entire shift was tuned in today. Thank you for giving us first-hand footage of what was happening. You helped us protect the public.
Thank you for your service.
So good to hear. And yes, Thank You for your service. I proudly Back the Blue.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you 🙏 for your service 💙
thank you for your service🙏🙏
I am one of the youngest survivors of Omaha 75. My house was devastated with me inside. I was left without a scratch. I thank The Lord every day.
This was down the street from my daughter in Lincoln.
There was another one on the NW side of Lincoln that was near me.
Severe damage, emergency crews still checking for people/damage.
Wow! I live in NW Lincoln, too. I was in Omaha at the Zoo with my 2 daughters and my 2 grandkids. I just got home about 1/2 hrs ago, so I missed it. I hope you didn't get too much damage. 😮
I hope everyone is OK. 🙏
Prayers for everyone ❤🙏
Prayers to you all! ❤️🙏🏻❤
I’m so sorry. Prayers for the first responders and people who are suffering.😢🙏
Just imagine being inside a tornado and hearing that classic train wheels grinding against the rails sound and then all of a sudden you come out the back side of the tornado and realize you survived. Must be the most amazing experience ever.
Been through one like that in Topeka Ks at a flimsy roof mall. Really felt like the end … then another came and sounded worse. Miraculous no one got killed!
I really thought your story was going to end differently😂. My brain went to”….all of a sudden you come out the back side of the tornado and you hear the sound of Reed Timmer screaming like it’s the first time he’s ever seen a tornado;you realize you survived…” 😂😂
I survived an EF1 tornado where half my house was destroyed. To me, it sounded like being right next to a massive waterfall. You can't even hear yourself scream. It's just complete sensory overload
@@Sarahsadie2021 🤣🤣🤣😂
Is so extremely rare the silence and the destruction in my casa the sunny blue ☀️ skies. It was a rain wrap tornado.
"You're in good hands"
Hearing Reed Timmer say that gave me the warmest fuzzies. I haven't felt this safe since I was a baby in a blanket being held by my mother.
lol!!
It is crazy how fast those storms move! 🤯
This is why indian tribes had fast horses.
😳
I can’t believe Reed hasn’t lost his voice yet
LOL yeah ..... if you watch the entire 5+ hour chase, you will hear Reed having major coughing fits after extreme yelling, it doesn't seem to hurt his voice ... anxiety/stress ? , adrenaline dumps ?, blood pressure?
His vocal chords can resist ef5 yelling
@@diffrntlytwistd7442 oh really? I bet man, I know I would lose my voice.
Kyle and Steiny from Nelk screaming “No no no no no noooooo” had me dying 😂 not sure the boys completely understood what they signed up for with a storm chasing legend like Reed!
😂🤣💀
Reed sees a tornado for thw millionth time and is as happy as the first time. That is so wholesome 😊😊😊😊
The force of his yelling actually causes tornadoes
I.m glad Reed is not an airline pilot.
😂😂
I'm stealing this oml 😂
during turbulence: HOLD ON!! HOLD ON!!!!
He’d fly into supercells
When the footage is so crispy that it looks fake. If this were another channel I’d wonder if it were real. Amazing.
Very real and only getting worse. From Texas to Iowa.
Very real
Real good footage but get off his nuts ok him and hank aka Pecos have some of best stuff so that any other channel thing stop
@@nobiedupree5916 what do you mean by only getting worse?
I watched it live. Not fake
_Reed & Brian taught me about reading radar correctly_ . I safely seen my first two live tornado's today chasing on my own. 1 in Yutan & the other in Waterloo.
Returning tomorrow once roads are unblocked to help wherever I can. Nebraskans: come together for our communities. Thank you!
There was some crazy live footage from you, Connor Croff, and a bunch of other chasers this afternoon. Some of the most photogenic and large tornados, I've ever seen, with such clear live streams.
I watched it go right past my home. It was terrifying. Bless all those that were affected.
I watched it on Ryan's channel, the Waterloo tornado, I hate to speculate but that might be the first EF5 we have seen in years. That thing was an absolute beast.
I'm sorry, what is Ryan's channel? thank you.
Definitely not EF5.
@@TopSecretInformationsRyan Hall Y'all, live coverage of several storm chasers. They were covering Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa on Friday , 8 hours of live coverage, I believe.
I too tuned into the stream from the Lincoln area onward up to Omaha, and watched the same tornado cell pass just west of my location. Amazing work to let us all know what was coming towards us. Valuable work as always. Thank you!!!!!
Good one! The debate and yelling in the background is hysterical
Kid like excitement from supposed adults with driving licenses.
This day will live on in infamy for Bennington and Waterloo, amazing intercept footage!
How bad did they get it? I'm in Norfolk, Nebraska. We got a ton of rain.
What about Elkhorn? Badly damaged.
Minden took a direct hit
@@ronaldrobertson2332 Elkhorn, Eppley Airfield hit really bad. Minden, Iowa is leveled. I watched the Waterloo tornado develop at 243rd st with many vertices & it
grew into a fat stovepipe.
@@EnliveningJusticeSeriously? Around what time was that? Did you get any footage? How bad was the damage to Waterloo? I'm glad you're ok. The reason I ask is I used to drive fresh seafood from the Gulf up in a truck every couple weeks from the Galveston Island, Texas. We have been doing that route for 25+ years. We'd stop at the same places every time. Typically like an Ace Hardware or something similar. There is always a few hundred people that come to each stop. And we would stop in Des Moines/ Waterloo/Cedar Fall's/Cedar Rapids. Then to Chicago, and all the way up to the North Woods of Wisconsin and then drive back. Was every few weeks I'd end up going right thru there. So I'm sad to hear that Waterloo, and anywhere else got hit.
Hit parts of Lincoln (Waverly), Omaha (Elkhorn), and Blair pretty bad. Reported cross winds up to 225 mph supposedly.
Big boy, on the ground for more than 1 hour.
I seen the aftermath in Blair, a tornado snapped through a big pine tree patch like they were toothpicks.
I saw it may be the strongest tornado in recorded history for the US!! Wild that there were no human fatalities.
@@KariN-or3sc The weather stations did an incredible job of warning beforehand. We were warned days in advance of severe weather and given 30 minutes notice before tornados touched down. Truly saved a ton of lives.
@@katiepage8049 I saw the eppley funnel pass by us in CB right before the sirens went off, but I'd been watching that storm while they were reporting on the Elkhorn tornado, saw it intensifying rapidly, stepped outside to take a look and the funnel appeared maybe 30 seconds before the sirens went off. We had some damage in CB as well, but the NWS doesn't have a survey for it on their site, so I'm not sure on that one. Seemed like tornado damage from my perspective, path was southwest to northeast and sporadic, but they're the experts. I'm truly amazed there was only one fatality during that outbreak. I remember the April 27th outbreak in 2011 like it was yesterday, we had debris falling in our yard from 100 miles south of us. Arbor Day was reminiscent of that to me, on a smaller scale
Right on Reed! We are happy you caught those. Stay safe out there. Cheers guys.
Crazy day here in Omaha! Been following you for years Reed! Glad you were here to share in the excitement!
What an amazing shot!! 📸 🌪 Great job Reed & Crew!! ❤
I have been watching you for a while but it’s so crazy to see you chase a tornado 3 miles from me!
That is so amazing and wild! Best storm chasing videographer on RUclips hands down! Incredible footage!
Good job on another Tornado intercept. I like the weaker ones as much, if not more, than the devastating ones. Reed, your tornado-finding skills are on point as always. Thanks to the rest of the team, who are crucial to operations, who we don't get to out and about. Speaking of...if they aren't too shy then you should post pics of everybody involved. Maybe you already have, but I don't pay attention sometimes.
at 4:47 that looks like an old guy sitting in his wheelchair watching the twister outside on a farm field...Midwest Tough...lol
lol That's for irrigation
Keep up the excitement ,loving what you do and the adrenaline rush and research of tornadoes etc ! You rock !
I find tornadoes to be beautiful and interesting and at the same time terrifying
How can anybody concentrate with all the screaming and yelling, geesh!
There could be a dust devil blowing a few leaves around and Reed would be yelling DEBRIS!!!!
Craziest chase ive ever seen. That storm just kept planting
Apparently, this is a contender for the first EF five tornado in 11 years
Some people go to Disney world for Thrills, these guys go to the center of the country and chase tornadoes for the thrill of sciences and meterology and the love of weather. Keep up the great work and I hope the people that were impacted by these storms are ok. Seeing stuff like this makes you think just how precious life is and how strong mother nature can be when she wants to be. Keep on chasing.
Jeepers! 😲
Glad you guys had fun! Glad you stayed safe! 🙏 I had an out of town appointment today. It was raining to hard that last half hour to home. White knuckling that steering wheel to keep it on the road... And then l heard the sirens. I don't even live in Kansas! 😁✌️❤️🦋🙏
This is one of those chasing days you'll never forget! Dominating tornadoes left & right! Congrats, Reed & Team Dominator!
❤Yesterday I ve got so exited with all of you guys. I catch the moment exactly with the tornado was amazing thank you❤
I live in the Elkhorn area, and it's completely ruined and my house is totalled
So sorry 😞
Praying for everyone affected! I'm glad you're still here to tell us ❤
@@luv2luv720 thank you very much, luckily they are working to find a way to rebuild, and search teams are looking for the bodies whom unfortunately didn't have as much luck finding shelter😢.
@@rhonda66ful thank you soo much it means alot
@football_fusionist531 no problem! 🙏
Alright folks! Welcome to: How far into the video can we get before Reed is screaming?
Let's! Find! Out!
Edit: 2 seconds, folks! Thanks for playing!
Way to keep your cool, Reed. Sounded like panic in the backseat, which is understandble in that situation, but proved you knew where it was going and that you were in a safe position.
Damn, prayers to those involved 🙏
The thing I love about Reed is that his excitement when seeing a tornado is like he's seeing one for the first time, every time. lol
Dude, I totally agree. Some of these other people that keep complaining, I have no idea why they watch his videos. He's always been intense. And that's why I love him! 😆
I was at the nursing home in Blair Nebraska as a nurse we could feel the tornado shake the building
Blair was wild after 4pm
But only as a nurse could you feel it.
Thank you for keeping me and my dogs safe through this, people like you kept me petty aware of where the tornados were at.
This was THE day to be chasing- great job Reed!
Glad to be able to see this moment in high quality as the stream didn't give this justice.
Dang. Couple tornadoes paste right by my house but my house was left untouched luckily
that is the most classic tornado i've ever seen
The footage from all the chasers yesterday was unbelievable. These storms were made for video. Sadly, a few of them were also very destructive to life and property. Thoughts to everyone affected.
What a gorgeous monster
Thank you for covering this Reed and all! This is my home and it saddens me greatly. I am all the way out on the east coast. Wish I could be there to help.
Y’all’s mood is infectious! ❤😂
Was watching this all LIVE a short time ago. Insane footage from all the teams of the tornado chasers.
I was watching his stream as this was happening. Phenomenal work Reed!!!
So was I, I live only 15 miles from this area, definitely a scary day.
OK, it's exciting, I get that. Why is he always yelling?
Absolutely insane day. Great job as always!
Awesome footage Reed, love your enthusiasm each time! Stay safe out there and big prayers for whomever was hit with this as well as the animals! God bless
This is terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Thank you for helping everyone in its path ❤
I agree. Hahaha. I just wrote a similar comment before reading any. So it wasn’t just me?? Happy to know 🤔
It took a train off the tracks in Lincoln near my son-in-laws job.
Reed’s one happy man. There’re tornadoes everywhere. Lord keep a close and protective eye on the chasers and anyone in its wake. 🙏🏼
Praying for each person in Nebraska. Life can be so uncertain ! Has me wondering where in the world is the best place to live.
Thank you all stormchasers yesterday got a lot of public awareness out and definitely saved lives!
Prayers for all affected with this Sulphur tornado and all those in other communities during our horrible tornado outbreak last night. From your close neighbor in Ardmore,Ok. We also had a tornado that leveled homes last night right down the road from me. We are strong and will come back bigger than ever
I’ve watched you since storm chasers 🤩 and always look forward to seeing you during storm season. Stay safe out there!
Release Dorothy!
lol.....
You're the man Reed!
Such a beautiful photogenic tornado wow
I love how even after hundred of tornadoes ur still just as excited as if it was you first. Beautiful storm
Excellent job, Reed AND staff. You all did great keeping folks safe. If you ever wonder if what you do "matters", IT MATTERS.
These are some incredible shots, look at how clean the line of the funnel is! Woah they dominated for sure!!
A guy I know just saw this down the road and even got photos!
Insane event. Possibly the storm of the year.
From storm chasers till now you’re amazing Reed, stay safe
I watched this tornado drop from the sky in Northeast Lincoln. It was crazy how fast it spun up right in front of me and then caused damage!! It was way too close for comfort. It seemed like a movie the way the funnel cloud spun and then the funnel popped out of it.
Got a little video after it dropped, wish I had gotten it as it was forming. Was incredible to see happen that close
You lived to tell the tale. Count lucky stars.
I live in Nebraska it was exciting and terrifying
WOW! Saw a bit of the tornado as it was occurring live but this shot is INSANE
This man said it’s about to get crazy … then what the hell was all that screaming for the past 6 mins 😂😂😂
_EVERYONE, STAY CALM!!!!!_
Terrifying!! You are all so incredibly brave. Also, this footage is absolutely spectacular!
It just keeps getting better Reed
Just like watching the twister movie❤ amazing
Omg incredible footage & intercept!🌪️
Masterful footage Reed. 🌪️
Damn wicked intercept(s)!
Sorry I wasn't there to help moderate this LIVE chase.
Never stop chasing!
The raw power of nature is both scary and amazing!
What great communication, screaming the entire time definitely allows people to think clearly
What a crazy storm
The bomb as always man! I hope yall come to sw Oklahoma for tomorrow! I have a feeling we gonna get it! We've been too lucky! Lake Elsworth baby! God bless all!
Great footage! Hope all those involved are safe.
Normal person: it's Christmas!
Reed Timmer: it's a tornado!
You guys remind me of the guy from Twister who started playing the William Tell Overture in his chase vehicle 🤣
Wow - what a beast!
This tornado was at least an EF 2
@@NicholasOklahomanMeteorologistatleast an EF3 or an EF4
@@NicholasOklahomanMeteorologist some people are saying it was an EF5…
@@bamboozeled1227 I don’t think it was an EF 5 but could quite easily be an EF 3 or 4
Hey Reed an Old Man Emu stabilizer bar is what you want to get rid of those speed wobbles.
Some beautiful footage! Well done.
Thank you so much for the live stream yesterday Reed. During the live stream, i couldn't help but overhear that you were having trouble with getting power. I was just wondering if you had checked the DEF fluid before the chase. Low DEF fluid can cause power loss.
Why are tornadoes so beautiful?! Like hauntingly beautiful but I’m also mesmerized watching them!? 😵💫
Meanwhile pecos hank being unphased:
Hank is the Zen Master of storm chasing.
I love his quote from Dodge City tornado in 2016, the tor is forming practically overhead: “It’s like the conception of the gods” lol love that dude
@@mgsls My favorite was his comment about being 'boxed in like a turtle's pecker' when there was a tornado coming right at him, and a truck on the road behind him wouldn't get out of the way so he could turn around and find an escape route.
Yesterday was fricken wild! I've never been so glued to live streams and radar before.
Look at the ground rotation Edgar!
Edgar: OH sh!t!
Some of you just hate watch. Lol.
This is the BEST chaser, period. You can not like him, like others better, but just have enough confidence in yourself to NOT watch his video if all you do is complain.
This is his personality, its not fake or "just for money" its who he is and who hes been his entire career. Plenty of people love his intensity and passion because they can relate... just like I can.
Some of you trying to control another person's emotional response to an intense situation is wild! It shows how miserable your lives are.
If you don't like him screaming on videos, then don't click on his flipping videos, then click again to complain about HIS freaking personality. Goodness, people like you drag the world down.
We love you Reed! Keep up the great work!
Hate watching is actually better than not watching at all lol a view is a view and still helps them in the end
Just wanted to see the tornado footage, heard the guy screaming and instantly muted. It's annoying but it is what it is.
Did this tornado cross I-80? I just drove through Omaha into Iowa and there was a part just a few miles into Iowa where there was obvious tornado damage and a flipped semi in the median
