I want to pause to acknowledge the large group of fellers all crammed into a vehicle, probably a bit tired, uncomfortable, all recording chaos simultaneously with cameras between each other's heads, hanging out of the windows, to make sure to bring this kind of quality footage to the world. There was a moment 10 seconds in, where I was compelled to paint a group portrait, and I might just do it. lol I was a middle school kid in the 90's when my dad managed to get me chaser compilation video on VHS, and I was hooked! :D Seeing this stuff in hi-def now, must be mind blowing for young kids! I pray you guys stay safe, and thank you for the gritty, hard work! When you love what you do, you do not work a day in your life!

My hobby love of meteorological research and extreme weather always gets me so excited during these chases and I run around with my iPad showing my kids and husband. It’s so incredibly powerful and exciting to experience this even on a secondhand level. And then to analyze and interpret the data they gain afterwards has to be just as exciting. It’s really rewarding for someone like me (whose career is nothing close to science or weather!) to be able to be a part of this for a short time, so thank you for bringing us along!
My grandfather always regretted not becoming a meteorologist, that hobby was passed to my mother and now to me. Mom and I remember seeing Reed's first tornado clips eons ago...good to know I'm not the only one running around their house showing the stream or sharing on Facebook! 😆 My grandfather has already passed, but he would have LOVED being able to see footage and then breakdowns of each afterwards. What a dream it would be to chase with Reed one day!

These tornadoes hit my town in Nebraska yesterday and the town up my street was destroyed we had an ef5 tornado close enough that I could see it from my house

Unfortunately one day Reed wont have it under control and will sacrifice all of these other poor souls lives. Saying “I’ve got this, I’ve got it under control” is selfish. Yes, sometimes he does have it under control but one day the odds won’t be in his favor. I’ve been a fan of his work for years but he’s become more risky/selfish and puts others in harms way.
