- The new storm chase season launches as Reed Timmer and the crew add a third Dominator to the fleet, an armor-plated tank designed to intercept tornadoes. Reed joins the KFOR severe weather team in Oklahoma City to bring unprecedented coverage of nature's fiercest storms to residents of Tornado Alley. Joel Taylor joins Reed for the first chase of the season.

After how crazy his stream's blown up. I watched it go from 40k to close to a million over the last like 10 days. This is setting up to be an historic chasing season.

At 9:55 you can truly tell Reed has more passion for chasing weather and the Kfor team cares more about the tv business. Reed tried to talk about the future models and they laughed at him. Probably why Reed is a solo chaser now, nobody can handle his passion.

I remember the day Tim Samaras died. I was really upset for about a week this video really got me remembering him. Rest In Peace Tim.
Also his teammate Paul. And his son ={ who dies with Tim that day. And then Joel Taylor here who passed away aboard a cruise ship. Terrible. Many losses in the storm chaser community too often. But for the sake of what they love and for improving the info & science for severe weather. You guys are as iconic...and are even more so than the Twister movie (1996) because this is all real!. Awesomeness.
I visited their memorial near El Reno last summer. Def brought tears to my eyes.
i dint know because they canceled storm chasers and then when i found out it really hit me in the gut :( and rip to these great chasers

Love anything with Reed and storm chasing. I paid for and watched all these episodes when they were released. It was worth every penny. Wish we could turn back time and have all the storm chasers back that I grew to love and watch on Discovery and TVN. Thank you for all the hard work and be safe out there.

I specifically miss Storm Chasers on TV which introduced us to Tim Samaris his partner Paul. The Vortex 2 crew that these guys were tryna beat to better warning times and learning the most they could about severe weather and in turn informing us and bettering forecasts for severe weather. Reed Timmer with Joel and Chris. Brandon Taylor & Sean Casey with the TIV team =\ man my brother and I lived for that show!. I was more excited about an episode of that show on TV more than any other show in my life lol. So sad that 4 passed Tim/his Son & Paul, and then Joel. Very sad. And also sad that they didn't get the right to continue storm chasers on TV that show was THE BOMB
Really miss TVN.. I would watch Reeds live streams all the time. He's taught me so much over the past 5-6 years. When I was in high school, I would spend most of my time in study hall watching his tutorials and taking down notes.

Love Reeds laugh, this group of guys is so great. It's on my bucket list to see a tornado, of course from a safe distance, the closest I have come was seeing water spouts off the coast of Va beach.

hello team Dominator, I watched the last episode of Dominator 1 just before Dominator 2 had been completed, now we have three, and the team has grown. I come from a region in Africa Kenya where the weather is friendly, so congratulations Reed and the Dominator team.
I remember the excitement when dominator 1 was coming around! Glad I get to watch this series again, I watched all the time when it was on the air.
Seeing Joel in the intro made me sad. RIP Joel, you will always have a great legacy in the weather community.
The funny thing is when that Tornado came through Moore they weren’t bitching about those Dominators😂

As a 28 year old man, I get anxiety from tornados and even these videos, it’s late October in Alabama and I know we’re fine storm wise but watching this again have me a small amount of that. I’ve watched this series a few times, each time I get better. I’m also fascinated by these storms, they cause a little anxiety and I wanna be free or that since I have a wife and a one year old.

Can relate to how beautiful and destructive a tornado can be. When I see the elegant ribbon funnel descending back into the sky after it’s left complete destruction behind is unreal.

I have always been in awe of storm chasrrs, I agree with Reed they are beautiful and mesmerizing . That's something I have on my bucket list to go on a chase someday . But it's also devastating to see death & destruction they leave behind and those who are effective by the outcome . But thanks to these chasers they give us more time to get prepared for safety , so thank you .

Back during storm chasers I always assumed Reed was the typical frat boy, however after watching his YT channel, tornado chasers and some podcasts, Reed is a total science geek, he was into collecting insects, science Olympiad, tree and plant geek etc etc. I now have great respect for him and his obvious passion, as well as skill when it comes to weather chasing
