    Day 110 of quarantine in Argentina. I would not have done it without these yoga classes, I was practicing almost every day and I am stronger, more flexible and in a better mood. Thank you Candace!!

    This is great!! I have a very tense back (esp lower) from sitting all day at work, and this helps a lot. And I just had an epiphany with my up and down dog - feels so much better now!!! Will also have this video on repeat, thanks Candace!!

    I've been struggling with my posture and sitting up right, while working on the computer. I'm still a student and will probably work at a desk or sitting down in the future, so I'm trying to improve my posture. I searched your channel and this flow is so good! I'm so tight in the front of my body (I'm not a backbend fan, because I am so tight maybe) and this helps open up. I'm adding this to my playlist! Thank you!

    This was totally what I needed Candace. I've been doing some of your back sequence each day this week, as I've been sitting down a lot lately. It is definitely forming part of my regular practice and so beneficial, I've been in quite a bit of pain and this is helping to release everything. Many thanks!

      Leona Devaz So sorry to hear you're in pain. Try some of the hip and hamstring videos, too, as the hips are often negatively impacted from sitting a lot. Hope you find some relief!

    Lovely sequences and practice, thank you!
    I appreciate the clarity of your instructions and fine-tuning of the poses. For example, the reminder to keep the shoulders away from the ears in the humble warrior type poses was very helpful to me (I think it's something you usually do for those poses). I'm someone with long and flexible arms and a tendency to raise my shoulders in cobra and up dog, so I also found the repeated sequence of sphinx, cobra, and up dog to be beneficial for building better habits in that area.

    well, that's a great start to a day of hard labor, thanks. you got any vids for garden grunts and farm laborers? BTW, they don't think yoga is weird at work anymore because I'm the one not hurting after 5 hours;) thanks again.

      Michael Garver Ha! I love that you've started a new trend! Hmm farm laborers probably deal with upper back issues I'm guessing? Maybe tight hips? Brooke Johnson Hey there, no, I don't. I would suggest seeing a naturopath or a doctor. The GAPS diet book talks a bit about bone loss and how to restore it - not sure if that'd be helpful but here's the link just in case: www.amazon.com/gp/product/0954852028/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0954852028&linkCode=as2&tag=yoga06c-20&linkId=HOVSQPLFXOZJIDXL

    it seems that when I attempt wheel I cannot get my shoulders off the floor and my arms to straighten- but feel that my quads and hamstrings are cramping. Do you have any tips for this?

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  9 лет назад

      ***** Yeah this likely just means that your shoulders and chest are really tight - so focus on heart opening practices. And your quads and hamstrings might not be warmed up enough when you practice wheel if they're cramping, so be sure you're really warm when you work with the pose.

    Candace, I am doing your 39 day flexibility challenge to be able to do some basic gymnastics moves like splits, backbend, catwheel, handstand, etc...do you recommend doing the same videos repeatedly and improving at those particular poses or switching it up .. i just feel that if I follow the schedule you suggested on your site I won't get a chance to improve on particular poses plus the videos listed I found tok advanced and even when I modified the moves I felt discouraged ... some tips would be so appreciated!

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  8 лет назад +2

      +Rafeeda Khashmel I think switching it up is important because the more you move, the more openness you'll feel and that will positively impact the poses you've chosen to work on.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  9 лет назад +3

      Apeksha Singh It depends on your level of flexibility. If you feel tight, do a warm up. If you feel ready to rock and roll, jump right into it. Yoga is all about listening to your body, so trust yourself and honor how you're feeling.
