I haven't done yoga in a hot minute, and I have been feeling so stressed and depressed lately. I never realized how much yoga helps me until I opened myself back up to yoga through THIS video. I feel more relaxed and at peace with myself than I have in about a year. Thank you so much.
As a former 3rd dan black belt who is getting back into martial arts I find your yoga practices to be challenging but not discouraging if there is something I cannot do. My flexibility has increased slightly since getting back into the swing of things only two weeks ago. I do a lot of the flexability practices because I was never flexible. Thank you so much for all you do. In the tradition of traditional Japanese Karate OSU!
I work construction and recently decided to do 15 mins of yoga after work. I am a beginner in the truest form. Your videos are just the right amount of calm and talking. Thank you for the videos.
Candace, I love your videos so much. I used to be so flexible and a lot of this was easy for me. Now I find I have raised two children and, in my 50s, a lot of that flexibility is gone. Luckily you provide workouts for all levels and I am truly enjoying my practice, remembering and savoring the calm and peace yoga brings.
Thank you so much for this- not only for the flexibility component, but also the space for intention setting. Wonderful moment of mindful meditation for me. Once I memorize, this will easily be one complete yoga meditation practice ☺️
Thank you for including the guided meditation & savasana in your videos. It helped me so much with my practice, even when I'm not practicing with you. Please do more & longer videos of this sort, I really really enjoy them. Perfect
omigosh yoga postures and movements are so aesthetically flattering to the fit body form. This physical technology is priceless whether doing or just watching..beautiful,soothing to behold, and reflective of nature's subtle..graceful power.
Thanks so much for this video! It’s perfect for me right now. 15 minutes is all I can manage with my kids buzzing around me, yet I’m getting a lovely stretch, and creating a consistent practice because it’s do-able each morning. Thanks again. X
I've been using this video every day for the past 6 months. I like it because it's fairly short with a good mix of easy stretches and more challenging ones. I've enjoyed seeing myself make progress, and I hope I can do those vertical splits some day. Thanks, Candace!
Really liked the back stretch in down dog where our hands grabbed the opposite ankle. Felt that right behind the shoulder blades. What a great stretch to use before my morning bike ride. Thanks again for these creative and instructional videos.
Just want to thank you Candice I can do a head stand and the crow now thanks to you and you're awesome videos, so proud of myself! I know those poses are on other videos but just thanking you again, I watch at least one of your videos daily while my daughter naps and I feel so great after even if I didn't really want to do yoga in the first place, but I always want to keep going after I'm done. (:
This sequence was really good.I grow a bit tired of the same ol same that a lot of big vloggers do. My lower back was pretty loud as well. I also liked how it was concise yet still effective.
This is the first video of yours that I've done and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wanted to thank you for the relaxing and helpful video, It was exactly what I needed.
Very nice. I practiced with a woman in Indianapolis 15 years ago and I have been looking for a practice that is similar to hers. This is it. Thank you.
Hi Candace, I use your vids everyday, (thankou!!) i wonder if you could do a sequence to help align SI joints / relieve SI pain, as i have a consistent issue with my hips. Being flexible means i can easily over stretch the joint causing more inflammation....a routine for this would be awesome! Thanks for your soothing voice and excellent tuition! xx
I just love how detailed and specific you are! I want to be a yoga teacher one day and you're my inspiration! Do you ever do retreats in Canada 🇨🇦? Please do! 🙏🏻
Thanks so much for the kind words - i haven't been to canada for a retreat yet. Our next ones are in Greece (triptribe.com/trips/namaslay-yoga-retreat-in-greece) and Kenya (yogabycandace.com/safari-yoga-retreat/) in the summer :)
Thank you so much for the incredible sessions suitable for any time constraints! I could be doing your videos for only 10 mins and I still feel an amazing difference. I want to start doing your 30 day challenges but can't decide which one first haha!! Keep up the great work, you deserve so many more subscribers! Namaste 💖
Thank you so much for this amazing video, I just have a question. If I'm going to do an intense dance stretch after this, should I still do the meditation at the end? thanks again!
This was nice and simple, perfect for today :) Does anyone else have an issue with volume on her videos? I always have to turn it up all the way and it's kind of hard to hear
No, it's the same for me; the video, computer and system volumes are up all the way. At 100% it's clear enough, but definitely not loud enough to be heard at a distance in a large room without somehow downloading the video and messing with volume amping.
I know this is an older video but I am new to yoga so I have been watching your videos a lot lately. im wondering, though, what lacing your fingers the way that feels weird does?
It's just to be "even" on both sides. For example, if you normally kick up into handstand with your right leg, it's good to practice kicking up with your left, just to make sure you're staying "even" with everything. Same with the interlace of the fingers. You always just want to be sure you're paying attention to both sides of things.
Hi Candace, I want to ask, if I'm a petite, stiff lady, is it possible to become as flexible as you are, or am I screwed? I'm NOT flexible in the least bit...
First time I watched one of your videos, at the 5min break: 1 min Is my phone still on? 2 min singing with the song in my head🎶 3 min Okay 3 sec and the break is finished 1 2 3 *opens eyes* Oh shit, she is still sleeping! 4 min Yawwnnn 5 min Waaah! Suddenly someone wakes me up from my nice dreams
haha, the 5 min break is called savasana and it's at the end of any yoga class if you attend one at a studio. it's essentially a time to just totally relax - think of it as a transition period between yoga class and the "real world." :)
It is a key when being a yogee to admit when something is wrong. It is not ever intention for a mistake, but admit them. We are all human and you need to learn to take constructive feedback if your videos are undesirable. I could not complain about alot of videos, but you need feeback. It is okay!
Dear Candace, I have no particular knee issues, but this video has given me 3 days of knee pain in one knee, after both supporting knees made a grinding sound to go into the standing splits. I've done yoga for 2.5 years so I'm not inexperienced and will avoid a painful pose where I can, but when it's a sudden pain in a supporting knee it's unavoidable. While it's been useful for me to learn I can't do this sequence safely, I do wonder whether there are safer ways to make the transition on your video? Going to apply ice now...
I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some knee pain. I would rest, and if you try it again in the future, try to avoid going as deep into the standing splits by keeping a micro bend in the standing leg. I'll be mindful of transitions in the future and offer some alternative options for those who need them
We always enjoy it. Team Candace all the way 💕
Candace, you are a gift to humanity. Thank you
This is the best quick yoga video. Merci. x
De rien! Glad to hear you liked it!!
I haven't done yoga in a hot minute, and I have been feeling so stressed and depressed lately. I never realized how much yoga helps me until I opened myself back up to yoga through THIS video. I feel more relaxed and at peace with myself than I have in about a year. Thank you so much.

SO GOOD
I genuinely like the way you style your yoga, but I wish it was 15 minutes of active yoga, then 5 for closing
Great videos. A little fast for beginners - I was having a difficult time keeping up.

Nah, I'd skip the meditation and wait until after your dance stretch
This was nice and simple, perfect for today :) Does anyone else have an issue with volume on her videos? I always have to turn it up all the way and it's kind of hard to hear
Sorry to hear that - make sure both the RUclips website is turned up and your speakers are turned up as well.

Yes! I’m glad I’m not the only one! My volume is max, but I still can’t hear!
Thanks a lot. It's quite enjoyable, but also challenging for me as a beginner. You look ripped :-bd
