  • An instructional yoga video. This is a vinyasa flow video. It is not slow, as a quicker pace is the style of yoga we're focusing on. If you're looking for a slow video, this is not it - check my playlists to find a gentle or restorative routine.
    This is for the yoga people who are looking to move a bit deeper in their practice, so it's not appropriate for people totally new to yoga, but rather those who are new to this style of yoga (vinyasa flow).

    I think this is one of the most complete practices on youtube. You really get every muscle moved and every fibre flexed. Thanks.

    4 months into yoga and FINALLY today got through the whole 20 minutes!! Wasn't very pretty and my breath was crazy a couple of times but I didn't "struggle" and it didn't exhaust me so I call today a step forward! Thank you for the beginner videos. did your 20 min yoga flow for beginners for a solid month before I could get through all of it (of course alternating it with other hatha and restorative sessions) but this video has been a "someday" hope for me. YAY! In a few days I'll look over some of your other total body flows to have a new "someday"

    Havent done yoga in sixth months, this was an excellent flow to bring me to my practice. I could feel all of my old muscles waking back up. Thanks for making the chavasana at the end longer too - I forgot to turn off my autoplay and it was nice not to have to immediately jump up and hit pause on the next video.

    Fantastic routine!!! Not sure if its for beginners though, these are challenging poses if you're new to yoga. I really love the downward dog transitions into the different poses in the beginning. This is refreshingly different! I'm definitely getting my inner (and outer) yogini strength back thanks to your videos and muscle memory! Core strength and twists are feeling great so this was perfect, and I broke a good sweat. :}

    I was sorta not with it last night with a headache and feeling a bit achy. So I started off with one of your "get ready for bed" videos which I did and are always good but I said to myself I needed more but nothing that required a lot of strength.... I did this video and absolutely loved it.... I love the flow and a challenge but not too much. Good for those days when its getting close to "that time of the month"

    Woke up extra early this morning with the goal of practicing yoga before work (I'm a teacher). I did one of your warm-up videos and then did this one. My practice seemed a bit sloppier and stiffer than I usually am in the evenings, but I GOT UP and I DID IT with your help, Candace! Thank you!

    I did this sequence regularly when I went to the UK for a 3month work exchange. It was my first attempt at yoga and I had just badly damaged my ankle falling off a bike. So it was hard and I needed chair support when balancing on my left leg but I started getting better at it and by the end of the period I was mostly getting it right. I like the idea of doing the same routine every day (especially if it’s not too long or requires exertion) because I’m exhausted after work and am apprehensive of taking on anything that requires more concentration than walking/ jogging. Anyway I remember this eventually fell into that category and how I always felt nice afterwards. I’m so happy I managed to find this video again! My mom is also keen to try yoga so we’ll see if this flow maybe works for her. Maybe it’s too hard? but maybe her ballet background will help.... Thanks for making the only yoga video I need on youtube :)

    Yesterday I did your beginner flow that opens with your dog. It was great. This class is more advanced. It moves too fast for beginners and needs more flexibility and strength. I am on day 67 of yoga. I will come back to this in several months. After yesterday I am looking for more of your videos.

      +Barbara Pohland No worries, Barbara - this isn't an easy video by any means. It's meant for people who are new at vinyasa flow so it's quite fast. I would suggest trying this video - yogabycandace.com/blog/2014/6/6/20-minute-yoga-flow-for-beginners - it was created with the beginner in mind, so it may be more manageable.

      Erika Freeman Yeah this is for the person beginning vinyasa which means flow - so it's kind of a miscommunication with the title. Here, try this beginner video (it's actually for beginners, ahahaha) sorry about that!! ruclips.net/video/BdTzZuwGEOw/видео.html

      Erika Freeman the only reason I could is because as a child I knew can this entire city routine a much more difficult version. Now I'm older and hon it's a little difficult but I could do it not for long in my posses. But I'm glad to learn again. Do a search on you tube with the follow phrase beginner flow yoga.. Take your time practice the move. I strongly suggest going to a yoga studio to get help that way they can help you get it right.

    I love your videos so much because they're exactly the moves I'm looking for and they're also the perfect duration. But the movements and narration don't match up so I have a tough time following along.

      Tasha McCrory Thanks for the feedback, Tasha. I was having some technical issues when this was shot - newer videos should match up pretty close to perfectly. :)

    Thanks for this, this was amazing and relaxing. I'm restarting yoga again (for the 5th time?) and I'm amazed at how bad my balance and flexibility have gotten from the months of inactivity. I have officially subscribed. :D

    Candace, I really like your stretching classes. This flow class, however, is not targeted at beginners. It requires core strength, flexibility, and a knowledge of the poses. It will be a lovely class in several more months.

    Nice flow I enjoyed it..not really for beginners though..as a teacher ..90% of my students couldn't do most of this...quite strenuous stretches! Thanks for sharing.

      It was more VINYASA for beginners - ie, people who have done yoga but are looking to start practicing vinyasa style. Hope that helps clarify.

    Maybe it's because I'm biased from watching and practicing with you for so long or that I am still a noobie in yoga, that I can't understand why ANYONE would thumb's down your videos! :P Namaste, Candy! Yes, you have a nickname now...

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  7 лет назад +1

      Haha, thanks Jeanne! I think it's because I stupidly promoted it as a 'beginner' vid and didn't clarify that it's a beginner VINYASA vid... like, not for absolute beginners to yoga, but people who are ready to get a bit more advanced but who aren't at that advanced stage yet. Or maybe they hated it. Whatevs haha.

    As a beginner this was challenging for me. I was concentrating more on each transition to a new pose, for me a bit too fast as a beginner. It definitely looks like a very complete routine and I can't wait to be ready for to start my day off with this routine.
