    Been doing this morning yoga workout almost everyday for years now! I began without being able to hold any positions for long, pausing the video constantly, and my breathing was terrible. Years later I can finish the video with no problem and maintaining breathe control! I feel so much stronger!

      That's great!! Do you have any improvement in your flexibility and your body generally??

    • @cheyenneslackattack
      @cheyenneslackattack 5 лет назад +75

      Katia Katia yes totally. When I started my shoulders were so much less flexible, my core couldn’t handle the planning exercises, and it was hard to stay balanced. As I learned to focus my breath and worked at it, everything started improving. I’m at a healthier weight than when I started but most importantly, my core looks and is much stronger, as well as my shoulders. I went from having flabby-ish arms to now I look buff as hell because of my shoulders haha. I was already pretty flexible, but I’d say this has helped that as well.

    This is my most favourite yoga video on the entire internet. I have been doing this yoga workout for 6 years with some breaks and could observe my progress. THANK YOU for it! Little tip: if you can't do so many push ups and strenghtening exercises around the 7th minute, simply stay in plank or downward facing dog and breath, just DO NOT GIVE UP. You're gonna feel amazing at the end and will make it one day, just be patient! (:

      Remember yoga is working the mind as much as if not more than the body! When you are doing difficult poses and get the shakes, just stay mentally relaxed and focused
      .
      (Easier said than done LOL)
      Eventually those hard moves will become easier and actually relaxing! Remember she is so stable in the video from years of hard work.
      Do your best, and progress slowly.
      Stick with it guys, trust the process, you can do it too!

    I just need to thank you. One and a half years ago I started to search for how to lose weight. I was depresed or something like that. I haven't loved my body because I was (and still am) a bit overweight. I always taught that people judge me and my look. It was march or april when I decided to lose weight. But I haven't decided it because I loved my body, even because I hated it. Summer was near and I decided I need to change what I don't like. And then I found you. At first I was doing yoga. Because of you and a lot of other people I learned that I have to love my body the way it is. It's only body I have. That time was something very special in my life. I was only 11. You helped me to get out of that depresion, you learned me to love me body and not to care about what other people think about it, you learned me to live freely. Thank you, thank you so much. Now I am 13 and I don't even care what other people think about me. It's my body, my life and they have their own to care about. Thank you and all other people on youtube who helped me. Thank you.

      It's great to see people loving and accepting their bodies. I hope that you are still happy about yourself. I had a similar problem last year because I hated my how my thighs looked, but recently I realized that it's more important that you love yourself and are healthy than how you look. Thank you for sharing this.

    Juliana and Mark,
    First off, I love that you guys actually read the comments, second, you two are amazing and I owe you some gratitude. I have been using yoga, jogging, meditation, and mindfulness to overcome a life long struggle with depression and anxiety. I am a Mom of 4 boys. I have only been doing the yoga part for about 2 months, twice a day. I started with Adriene and "graduated" to you. I enjoy the challenge. Your videos are amazing, the scenery is breathtaking, and even the music is peaceful. We are in the process of moving, but I can't handle life without yoga. This quick video has been my go to. I love the intensity of your work outs. In the past few months I have noticed miraculous change in body and mind. I gave birth to 4 boys......I can see my abs. What?!?!? I have never seen my abs, ever. Oh, and I like my legs for the first time in the history of my life. So....thanks for your part in all this. both of you. Your hard work and dedication is changing lives across the world. Every time I do one of your yoga videos say a little prayer for the two of you, for extra peace, love, and whatever you may need. God bless. You guys are awesome.
    Oh! and another human on another video suggested a donate button. I am going to second that. I don't have a lot of money to throw around, but us poor folk that love and appreciate you guys would have no problem throwing 5 bucks your way just to show you some love, and little bits add up. Maybe Patreon or a subscription on your website with special members only videos? Just throwing that out there.
    Oh, and if you want some inspiration, I would love it if you would do a chakra balancing series. hokey or not, I find it effective.

    The poses are NOT advanced, but because she is so flexible she does them in an advanced way....I think what makes it hard to follow is that she does the movement at the same time as she gives direction, it would help if she prompts you a second or two and then does the pose

    • @SMJSelena
      @SMJSelena 7 лет назад +4

      Yes that's exactly the problem. I couldn't figure out why she was still going too fast for me even though I already put it at slower speed. She's already in the next position when I'm barely in the previous one, but it's indeed because she says it when she's already in position so we have to either watch the screen every second (bad for your neck) or rush through when listening to what she says and peeking at the screen every now and then. Maybe it's not as hard when you're more familiar with all the terms though (I know some of them but not all) so you don't have to look at the screen at all. I really love the exercises in this, but I've had to rewind so often

    I am 44 years old male. I was doing this exercise about 6 years ago. I am naturally really unflexible and just in one week doing this exersice daily my back problems disappeared. After one month my mobility was VERY much better. But for some reason I stopped doing it.
    Now it is six years later and my back is killing me again. I have done last couple of days random yoga videos from RUclips, but they just didn´t feel so good and the atmosphere at the videos missed something.
    Today I finally found this channel and THIS video. I just made this first time. It is just so good as I remembered. Can´t wait to see how much better my back will be this time after a week or after a month of daily exercise.
    Thanks a lot for this video!

      Update:
      Now I have done first week this workout. My back is better, but still not ok. The upward dog is the pose that still is painfull on the left side of my back. Problem is in my si-joint. Nothing new there, been here before. All I need to do is keep training and stretching. It is the only way to solve the problem.
      I try to keep updating how situation will progress. For how long it takes when there is no pain anymore.

    It was great, but I'll offer a tip to beginners: I don't think this is a suitable routine for the moment you roll out of bed. You may want to warm your body up a bit before tackling it. Just be careful!

      +Stephanie Jeanne She is in very warm Costa Rica,, don't think she rolls out of bed and does this right away anyways.,,, she's been doing this for years so it looks easy. If you notice she is not talking while doing the moves,, talks you through it. Do agree warm up is needed.

    Thank you for this lovely, flowing, spiritual yoga. It's great for morning or anytime. (Just did it now before dinner). Gorgeous Costa Rican coastline, lovely vacation rental, perfect music, soothing voice, nice speed and flow. I can't believe all the negative comments, but people sometimes just look for flaws rather than all the beautiful qualities about anything. There are tons of wonderful qualities here!!! Oh and thanks for being peaceful, gorgeous and super fit!!! Peace and Blessings!!

    I am so grateful for this video. I live with Ankylosing spondylitis and it is this video that has kept me going through the pain. The excellent balance of core strengthening and stretching makes this an excellent workout…while the music and Juliana’s tone of voice helps relieve stress. I believe doing this yoga workout on a regular basis has been key to maintaining my mobility (and prevented my spine from fusing). Thanks so much for the creativity and effort you put into making such a thoughtful yoga video. It’s made a real difference. 🙏💜

      Thanks. I am vegan and have been for nearly one year and am feeling the benefits of that anyway. I have found myself really getting into yoga too since seeing pros like this girl and have been practising yoga now just watching tutorials like this (though some I am unable to do, I try my best and have got myself a little flow routine now that works for me which uses the kinda basic poses) And actually I am surprised that after only about 2 weeks of doing a 15 min routine everyday plus the gym, I am feeling the benefits and my flexibility is already showing signs of improvement so will definitely keep it up! Thanks for your advice xxAnd the when you least expect it comment is so true! I at first couldn't put my head to my feet or on my knees when stretching (don't know what the pose is called lol ) but the other day I was like oh hey I just did that!

      +Serena Apellido eating animal products does not reduce flexibility. Flexibility has NOTHING to do with eating. Flexibility has to do with training your muscles. The more you train them (by stretching etch) the more flexible you become. It does depends on the person on how much stretching to do every day.
