Korean Braised Eggs- So Easy, Anyone Can Make It!💛

    Korean Braised Eggs (Soy sauce eggs)-Super easy and delicious!!!
    Ingredients:
    8 eggs
    half an onion
    one red pepper
    5T soy sauce
    3T water
    3T cooking wine
    3T of sugar
    1T vinegar
    1T salt
    Step 1: Boiling eggs
    Pour a moderate amount of water into the pot. Add 1T of salt and 1T of vinegar. Put the eggs. Boil the eggs for about 12 minutes.
    Step 2: Cutting vegetables
    Slice 1 chili pepper. This is optional. Slice half onion. Slice green onion
    Step 3: Boil eggs in sauce
    Add 5T of soy sauce, 3T of water, 3T of cooking wine, 3T of sugar, and eggs. Boil it over high heat for about 5 minutes. Add sliced onions and chilies. And then reduce the heat over medium. Cook for another 3 more 3 minutes.
    재료: 계란 8 개, 양파 반개, 빨간고추 1개, 간장 5큰술, 진간장 5, 맛술 3, 설탕3, 식초 1, 소금 1
    요리 1단계: 계란삶기
    물 적당히 냄비에 부어주세요. 소금 1 큰술과 식초 1큰술 넣어주세요. 그리고 계란을 넣어주세요. 계란은 12분정도 삶아주세요. 차가운 물에 계란을 담아주세요. 계란을 잘 까주세요.
    요리 2 단계: 야채썰기
    고추있으면 하나 썰어주세요. 양파있으시면 반개 썰어주세요. 쪽파도 있으시면 하나 썰어주세요.
    요리 3 단계: 계란 졸이기
    진간장 5큰술, 물 3큰술만, 맛술 3큰술, 설탕 3큰술 넣어주세요. 재료를 잘 저어주세요. 여기에 계란을 넣어주세요. 강불에서 5분 정도 졸이세요. 그리고 불을 중불로 낮춰 3분정도 더 졸여주세요. 이때 양파와 고추를 넣어주세요. 국물이 어느정도 남아있으면 불을 꺼주세요.

      If you add chicken stock, it would be more flavorful. If you also want to add wine, I recommend using white wine.

    Which soy sauce do you use? There are many variations.

      That's right! I usually use Korean soy sauce (Sempio Soy Sauce) or Japanese soy sauce (Kikkoman). Both of them taste similar to me. Hope this helps.

    What brand of soy sauce do you use?

      I used brand of Korean sempio soy sauce jin (jin ganjang). You can purchase it on Amazon or Korean grocery stores. Thank you!
