Petition for Aaron to show Claire more love by making lots of side dishes 😄
I laughed so much at the end 🤣🤣🤣 Show Claire more love with banchan!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You two are such a great team together, and soooooooo soooooooo adorable 😊😊😊
definitely need a part 2! i tried one at a Korean restaurant, i think it was dried fish with some type of sauce coating, but it was sweet and savory without being overly fishy. would love to know how to make that!
Baby anchovies, I believe. It's my brother's favorite and super easy to make. It's called myeolchi bokkeum.
Yes!! So tasty!!
@@itsbuffy0205 but anchovies are tiny right? these were chunky fish bits, but what you're describing also sounds good
B38twk!p
@@audreymercer8739 I know I'm hella late but the dish might have been seasoned dried pollock.
I love Claire's comments always after the "Mmmm!" *The doggie playing on the floor like a boss was icing on the cake today! I've never tried these, but would like to now! Thanks!
I have to admit; I use A LOT MORE green onions now thanks to Aaron. You guys make me drool all the time!!😋
MORE green onions>Before Aaron and Claire 1 bunch would last me a week, Now I keep Fresh only shop every day for 4 hand full's of them. Green Onions on everything, My girl thought I was crazy, Now we both are Very crazy... Green Onion Crazy.
I know right??!! I keep green onions and put ends in potting spoil and have new ones
Aaron is great at totally describing the dishes and helps you avoid pitfalls. Claire describes the dishes flavor with flair! I love these two❤️❤️
Thank you so much, Patricia! 🥰🙌🙌
OMG. That puppy steals the show every time. Some of these I have made but wad surprised to see how easy the quail egg banchan was. I appreciate your making Korean food so accessible.
Tell me about it! She always steals the show! 🤣
More Korean side dishes to try now let's go!!! ✨
Let's go!!😍
Ohh thanks so much for making this video!! I love Korean side dishes but I only know kimchi and spinach salad. Would love to know more and know how to make them too
You're gonna love them so much!! 😍
Kimchi is the most delicious thing ever
Sieht sehr appetitlich aus! Danke für das Rezept! :)
Ich freue mich. Vielen Dank für Ihre Aufmerksamkeit.😊🙏
You were right, everything did look fabulous! My favorite was the zucchini dish, so pretty & I love zucchini. The puppy almost stole the show there, just like mine, you can't beat a good squeaky toy. Take care guys & have a wonderful weekend.❤
Please try it and let us know how it was Bonnie~!😍😍
@@AaronandClaire I definitely will, am going shopping today.
I want to try the spicy cucumber salad and the zucchini pancakes, maybe the squid. They look so delicious. Ever since stumbling across your channel I have strayed away from Mexican food cuz Korean is new but so delicious. Thank you, Aaron and Claire! I laughed so much at the bleep... unexpected but funny....
Korean food is the Tex-Mex of Asia
It was so cute seeing Hodu acting like a puppy!! Those side dishes were amazing! And I'm loving the commentary of Claire more and more cause she's so expressive! Now give Claire all the love with banchan!!!
Thank you, Thank you! I have been looking to up my side dish game! I am cooking my way through the 9 ramen recipes and my family is eternally greatful!
I don’t know what was more fun- Hodu, who I think is just precious, or Claire with all her adorable sass!
Looks amazing! Now I’m going shopping because I’m hungry. 😄
👍👍👍
This is such a great banchan selection, so many tastes and textures!
Tell me about it! 🤣
Looks delicious! Maybe create an English language book on banchan recipe?
With lots of protein!!
And there, my Friday is complete. Love what was done here today, another handful of things for me to try. Thank you, Aaron!
You're always welcome! Hope you have a great weekend, Tom! 😉👍
Would love to see more banchan recipes please! I had a slightly sweet potato one once - it was SO incredibly good! Your puppy is as adorable as Claire too BTW!
Thank you so much for sharing your culture with us! I am super thankful for your channel! My kids and I usually eat Korean food everyday now! And my son doesn’t like fish, but LOVES the anchovy side dish!
Delightful! Been watching you all for awhile, food prep is so easy, delicious and food I would never tried had you not made it seem so stress free! Claire is precious, and she is so much fun to watch! Keep the videos coming, I’ve got plenty more to learn!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Yeay finally banchan episode.

Your fur baby should bake more cameos, so cute!

That was fantastic! Thank you Aaron and Claire I will be making these.
THis video is so heartwarming. I love you together. You're both wonderful and your dishes don't look too hard to recreate. I've made many i've seen on this channel :)
This was so helpful and you two are so charming. I would love to see what a typical weekday meal looks like.
I love you guys!! Love your dishes!!
Thank you Karen!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Definitely part 2!! I love banchan so much!!!
Big Smiles!! So much love with Banchan!!! I loooooooove Jinmichae Bokkeum!!! Thank you so much!! I have never tried Mechurial Jangjorim...I am going to try this very soon!! Looks savory & amazing! Thank you so much Aaron & Claire!
Let me say some good things about shishito. They have a light fresh green flavour, more like cubanelles than bell peppers. They usually have almost no heat. They are extremely easy to grow - they are more productive in my little backyard garden in downtown Toronto than any other pepper. You can get seeds from seed companies now, but I started off many years ago with a bag of shishito that had a few that were starting to ripen - I let them mature and saved seeds.
Aaron and Claire, I'm really happy to have found your channel. We live in an area with many Korean shops and restaurants and have developed a lot of enthusiasm for Korean food. My efforts at reverse engineering banchan have been edible but not very authentic tasting. Please, more banchan recipes!
My most favorite chef on youtube. Thank you for everything!
The stir-fried anchovies *chef's kiss'. That's my fave!
Ok... gonna prep & cook these soon!!! Thank you!!!! 😁👍
So excited. 💝🙏💝 Thank You Aaron and Clair! Wishing you both very well.💝
Thank you Melissa~😍😍😍😍😍
good preparation, thanks for sharing.
Love Korean food. Thank you so much. Will be making these dishes.
"Or peanuts, not pe***" LOL maaan that had me weak I did not expect that.
Aaron knows how to cook, but with Claire’s exuberant tasting makes your dishes look very appetizing. Will try them all soon. Thanks for sharing.
You're so welcome! Can't wait for you to try! 😉👍
They all looks so good! I want to try these!
I needed a squid recipe for my Bae, and Aaron provided! Thank you, Aaron (and thanks, Claire, for not only convincing me how good the banchan was, but also showing me that they were different in consistency from others I've had and not liked bc they were not properly prepared).
The two of you are a First-Rate team (as if you didn't already know)! ❤️🥗🍲🍜❤️
More banchan please! And storing n reheating tips if made in big batches!
Aaron, you are a fabulous and creative chef. When Claire enters the picture, that's when fun begins. Love you two
Love you more! Thanks for watching! 😉👍
One cooks in the family, the other one then washes dishes. We share chores same way sometimes 😊
I was waiting for banchan my whole Life,!!! Thank you soo much❤️
Got introduced to Jinmichae in college thanks to befriending a Korean student and getting introduced to banchans. I became obsessed. I tried making it once from an online recipe that did not include washing the squid or cooking the sauce. It was the same. Now I have new info and I was actually going to try and make it again so I'm definitely trying Aaron's method.
They look delicious! Good health to you both!
I just made the Oi Muchim and it was awesome. I used the chili pepper powder, not the flakes, I did have to add a little more vinegar (I actually used rice vinegar) as it seemed a bit thick to mix, added a paper thinly sliced finger pepper and sliced my cucumber 1/8" thick as 1/4 seemed too thick for me. I thank you for inspiring me to try this, I have really missed my favorite Korean restaurant, this eased my pain just a little. Those of you who enjoy the side dishes at a Korean restaurant, try this, you'll love it.
Love the way you talk haha funny /encouraging and informative
Love these! More banchan part 2!!!
Can’t wait to try making these!
Wow those recipes look delicious and not so difficult, the cute dog with the squeaky toy was an added bonus
Wow, Aaron! You are so talented!!! All this looks so delicious!
When I was little I always wanted to bring anchovy banchan in my lunch box. My mom wouldn’t let me because she was afraid other kids would make fun of me. Zucchini pancake is the best way to eat them!
Please make more of these banchan videos!! Korean banchan is the best
This came just in time I just ordered some things so I can start cooking with your videos
So happy to hear that!!😍
Love all the different kinds of Banchan's😍
Looks great. Thank you for the recipe😋😋
Thank you for watching!!😍
I love banchans this is so perfect, whenever I go to korean BBQ restaurants I love the side dishes, I think I will be a pro cooking all this😌😏😎👍 thanks as always
So glad you liked it! Hope you enjoy them all~!!! 😍
I have a can of quail eggs in my pantry, definitely going to use your recipe! Thank you for sharing these!
Love this!!
Love your channel Makes me want to run to the Korean grocery store right now to make these
Love, love, love Claire's response to the food, Aaron's fun, informative way of teaching and ESPECIALLY that cute little doggy in the background!!
Thank you Aaron for sharing! I'll prepare these banchan soon.
My pleasure! Please let us know how it goes! 😍
Great video! I love banchan - they satisfy my desire to be able to have lots of little different things to taste and enjoy - and these are some great options. Especially the quail eggs; I didn't know you could buy them pre-boiled in a bag! How civilised! And that they last so long in the fridge, too; totally worth making up the big batch.
Although the best bit of the video was when Claire told your adorable doggie (sorry, I missed their name) to be quiet, and they squeaked the ball in an almost rebellious "NO!" 🤣
Great episode. You guys are too fun. :-D
I love this video -- literally!
Well explained and tasty recipes.Thank you.
these look so great!
Thank you for another great video!! Would love to see some more vegetarian banchan or even dishes in general some time as well, most things you have made I have been able to replicate with vegetarian alternatives, but would love to see even more authentic vegetarian things if possible! ^.^
There's a few good ones, look up seasoned bean shoots, seasoned spinach they're super easy. There's also an eggplant one. If you like korean food but are vegan/vegetarian have a look at Seonkyoung Longest, she's Korean but recently shifted all her recipes to plant based dishes only including vegan kimchi :)
We love Banchan from Korean store but not used to eating directly from fridge so warm them up a little. Love Japchae, braised quail egg, stir anchovies.
Your video inspired to make the banchan at home 😋
Please let us know how it was!! 😍😍
Great video. I like these simple, yet delicious meals. Thanks for sharing.
Happy cooking,
UB
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! 😉👍
Love listening to you speak, beautiful language!
I love all your recipes it’s made me a better cook and makes me popular with my Korean neighbors they always want some food
Thanks for the banchan recipes! I always buy the ready-made seasoned dried shredded squid from our local Korean supermarket. Now I can easily make it! :-)
Banchan is where it’s at!! Quintessential Korean. ❤❤❤
Looks delicious 🤤
Thank you for sharing.
Love you both so much! I can't wait to make these in the next few days! Again you have helped me with "What's for dinner"? The fried chicken thigh sandwich was awesome! And if I see spam in my kitchen cabinet I know to fix Army base stew. I keep that sauce and tofu secrete sauce in my freezer at all times. Your sesame seed salad dressing and teriyaki sauce are always in my fridge! Thank you again for all your recipes! JoAnn Sigby
Awww... That's so nice to hear! Thank YOU so much for enjoying our videos and recipes! 😁👍👍
I have also purchased whispering..."msg"! Lol thanks again!
🤣🤣🤣👍
Perfect timing Aaron! I was looking to make Oi Muchim already but couldn’t remember what recipe I used last. I used green onion instead of garlic chives and it still tastes amazing. Thank you for sharing 😍
That must be great, too! 🤤👍
Tried the cucumber salad with thin carrot stripes instead of onions, it still tasted wonderful! I used this as a side for your bulgogi chicken! The combination was heaven, i ate more rice than usual. Thanks for the recipes ❤
Just discovered your channel as I try and figure out how to use my garden’s ingredients. I have zero cooking ability. Your explanations and recipes are so simple - and humorous ! Even I can cook
Everything looked delicious. I'll look for a bag of quail eggs next time I'm at Hmart.
👀👀😆
Years ago I was waiting in line at the corporate microwave, and the man in front of me was heating a bowl of rice that had a decorative school of anchovies swimming in it.
It was such a subtle love letter.
Hello from Manchester uk great cooking as always take care send my love to Claire ❤️
Thank you my friend! 😍😍😍
Hi Aaron and Claire, I tried your enchovies recipe. It turned out well. My husband love it. Thank you very much
So glad to hear it, Maria! Thanks for sharing! 😍
The dog is the star of the show ♥️ adorable
Looks nice, i will have to try :)
Yes! More Banchan, please.
Amazing video! I’ve been wanting to see something like this! Only one question; should these be served hot or cold (I know the cucumber one is typically cold) or is it personal preference?
PUPPYYYYY 😊 also... I want all of these 🤤
Great show
Yayyy … finally Banchan . Please do more Banchan video .
Hi... I love your videos... a lot of fun! May you please share more banchan side dishes but with international ingredients, please? I will try those eggs and zucchini... but without those hot chilies cause I do not have those around. Tyvm!!! And keep on cooking! Everything looks so yummy!
I would go into the Korean market and not know what to buy. Now I do. Thank you!
Oh yeh Cook like Aaron and Claire And please give your little dog a hug. So cute.👍👍👍
