Thanks BSS fans! Like if you want George to come back for Season 5!
I love just about everything you do at *First We Feast,* and George Motz has achieved National Treasure level IMO.
Sean is very talented, but Hot Ones sometimes makes an old fella like me say "Who?".
But I never miss a Burger Show or Burger Scholar! I wish there was a Taco Show, or Food Truck Scholar!
But thanks for all you guys do, this channel is the greatest "food network" ever. 😁
Yes, absolutely.
All hail King George!
More seasons and more episodes per season!
I need to know what burger George would make himself if the cameras weren't rolling...
Does he follow a certain restaurant's recipe every time, striving for perfection?
Does he chop up a turkey burger and put it into a salad because his wife is concerned he may overdose on rendered beef fat one day?
Does he make a single with american, pickles, onion, mustard, and mayo like a normal person?
Or does he make his patties with wagyu and caviar and eat it raw because his palette for burgers has expanded beyond any human so far?
These are the questions that keep me awake at night.
Whenever George tries a burger, I never know if he's enjoying it or just burning his mouth. Every single time.
The answer is Yes. Yes he is.
Why not both?
same look he gives when he swallows a man's love potion
@its fine im gay now
@chicas twerk Literally came down here to comment the Exact. Same. Comment.
This show never fails to make me smile
George's enthauistic energy is very infectious!
100% - needed this today to stave off the Monday morning existential dread.
It never fails to make me hungry
This show really is gold.
do you want him to make a saag paneer burger for you?
George must either have the self control of a 4 year old, or the memory of an 100 year old Alzheimer's sufferer, because he burns himself on EVERY BURGER and seems surprised every time.
It's always an adventure to see when and how George is going to hurt himself in a given episode.
He usually burns himself on the griddle too🤣
@@cocktail_dad85 or bangs his elbow against the side wall! or falls on a skateboard.
I think it the former. It looks like it's due to all of the excitement to me
It's like if doc from back to the future decided to open a burger joint.
_Taking a bite of great food_
Normal person: “Mmm this is good.”
George: *primal ape noises*
We need 50 more seasons of George. Ever since watching him my burger game has been elevated!
No, don’t. His hands can’t take so many burns!
I agree. It's amazing how much much better my burgers got since I started watching George.
Eatin at least 3 times a week freshly made smash cheese burgers and I won't stop any time soon

@@54lolman Ha, shows what you know. The man's hands and mouth are clearly just burns and asbestos at this point.
We actually have a fluff and peanutbutter slider at Joe's Hamburgers in Michigan called the fluffernutter. It's sooo good.
y'all better give this comment some love. I wanna see George try this.
This is the most American thing I've heard I think. Unless they fry the entire burger a second time 🤔hahah
Nasty.
We have the Fluffernutter in Massachusetts to. Except it's a peanut butter and fluff sandwich, not a hamburger and fluff
@@TR_89 I was just about to say the same thing when I saw this comment.
As someone who has had their fair share of Fluff Screamers from Tony’s Lunch in Girardville, PA, I can attest to their utterly weird deliciousness. Pairs great with fresh cut fries and a couple cartons of chocolate milk. Can’t believe Motz did it!
thay was the only one I wouldn't try tbh..
That fluff burger with the hot sauce with ground up hotdogs in it - sheer madness
Pennsylvania surrendered to madness long ago.
Never under-estimate the ability of Hobutts to throw weird ingredients together and call it food.
Soupies anyone?
It has It's Always Sunny vibes
With freedom comes danger. Eat at your own risk.
I noticed he didn't really say it was good at all, haha. He just complimented it's quirky features and praised them for trying something different and being able to sell them.
''deep fried bacon'' wow this truly is peak american burgers today
your youtube page truly reveals what a dork you are, kello

WHERE MY STEAMED HAM ARMY AT
I genuinely think I’d be star struck if I bumped in to George Motz in real life. I just want to gush for a moment: Your show is appointment viewing to me, you inspire me to make these gorgeous regional burgers and keep me and my friends engaged and connected about burger history. You are a living legend in my opinion. Thank you for all you have done and First We Feast for bringing this show to all of us.
Yup!
I choose to believe that George, a completely sane person, ate just one of these burgers each day, compiling it later into one episode
he eats a third of each burger. he saves the other two-thirds so he can make love to it in his bedroom later that night
:flips the table:
He made it his job so the burgers get a tax write-off.

As a resident of the PNW, I appreciate the inclusion of goop on this show. Good stuff!
Do you know the recipe for it? A few places say that it has sour cream in it, but I found a forum post by someone who claims to have talked to an ex-employee who says it's actually miracle whip, not sour cream (mayo, miracle whip, dill relish & yellow mustard)
Around where I grew up its typically mayo, pickles, mustard and ketchup. I ask for a side of it for fries
Growing up in Seattle, we always just called it "special sauce". Had no idea the rest of the state was calling it "goop". Ya learn something new everyday!
@@CTSchmidlak Grew up in Olympia+Seattle. It's funny south of Tacoma it's Goop but north of Tacoma it's either special sauce or Dick's sauce
At Dick's in Seattle, they call it "tartar" even though it's not really tartar sauce. I guess it looks like it though.
“This is too hot to eat” - the only time he’s said this in his life.
And still immediately dove in haha
ruclips.net/video/qUAmAES-2o0/видео.html
Right? "Damn, this burger is burning my hands, better stuff half of it in my mouth!"
"This is too hot to eat!" We're all very proud of you George. Please stop maiming yourself on camera.

Please stop memeing yourself on camera... no wait, actually, please continue :D
This is easily my favorite series on RUclips. I log in during my lunch break every Monday to watch your stuff. Never stop this series!
But have you seen RLM? 😂 BY FAR the best YT channel.
George should be sponsored by Neosporin burn ointment.
or by gay-boy brand double-reinforced rainbow-colored condoms

He’d just put mustard on his burns
"You make it great; I just make it weird and goofy"
The weirdness and goofyness just elevates the show man, thank YOU for the burgers
I like these episodes, the speed that George has to move adds a sense of excitement. If I had the choice though I would rather these kind of episodes get split into individual ones which dive into the history of each burger. We need more episodes of this show plain and simple.
I grew up on Eastside Big Tom, still my favorite burger. Glad to see it get some major recognition!
I imagine since Olympia Beer went dormant Olympia doesn't get a lot of food and drink mentions. I guess Taylor Shellfish get's a lot of media though so that's cool.
"Don't know what GOOP is? DON'T THINK OF GWYNETH PALTROW!" LMFAO
the word "goop" only reminds me of one thing: your great grandmother. your paternal one, that is
I want to see George combine his years of burger experience, all the weird, delightful toppings, all the idiosyncratic techniques, and make *THE ONE BURGER* that takes the best of all of them and combines them into one angelic eating experience!
George laughing at Dick sauce is why he is a national treasure
I love how he's always suprised that the burgers he JUST made is hot
Surprised lol
Using a "swiss" or similar alps style hard cheese is so good on burgers.
Gives a kind of dry aged funk to the whole proceedings
swiss all the way when you make a mushroom burger.
Agreed. I've been using swiss cheese as alternative burger cheese for years. It's a great flavor for a burger. I don't get it all the time because it's more expensive but either the KerryGold Swiss cheese slices or the KerryGold Savory Cheddar cheese slices make for an excellent addition.
i was surpsrised he reacted like that - every burger place i have ever been to has a swiss mushroom burger - seems like a requirement
Swiss is good but blue cheese is amazing
Yeah, mushroom & onion (both grilled of course), swiss, bacon burger is my fave. Little bit of mayo for sure, a tiny bit of A1 optional (stir 1/2 tsp into the mayo & spread it out - you don't want it overpowering the other ingredients). Jalepeno-cheddar-cheese bun is great, but some big buttery, grilled (hearty slabs of whole wheat, rye or pumpernickel) toast is phenomenal.
George Motz, the only professional food man who doesn't understand food temperature
“You don’t want to burn your nuts.” Truly spoken, George
Every episode with George Motz is an acid trip 🤣 Love it!
That's a weird moment when the deep fried bacon burger is only the second most american burger in the list
whats the first?
Haha true! FLUFF ftw

If this show was just George eating things enthusiastically I would watch it.
George! I went Anchor Bar when the Blue Angels were in Duluth, MN in June. It's about three hours from my house. Last year we took a flight up that way in a Twin Engine Piper Aircraft! That burger is actually really good at Anchor Bar! Love your show!
I'd love to see more Wisconsin Burgers if you got any. Love hearing about a burger from my home state.
That would be interesting. I have an uncle who lives in Wisconsin.
Solly's butter burger!
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest... I did not know that goop was created here, seen and had in so many burgers up here. Just thought it was the norms to be on burgers. Learn something everyday!
Thank you George for sharing your passion with us all! Come back for another season
I love this show. George always has such a great, up beat attitude. His enthusiasm really makes the content, and genuinely makes my day better. Find someone that loves you as much as George loves burgers.
3:09 Swiss cheese has always been my go to, favorite burger/sandwich cheese of all time since I was a kid. I agree -- it's underrated!
First We Feast: "How many nut jokes you think you can cram into that first burger segment?"
George: "Yes"
😂
Deep Fried Bacon Burger. You are mine when I go to Texas, someday. Hallelujah!!! 🔥
Love you George and everyone who works behind the scenes to deliver the magic!!
This guy low key looks almost exactly like the owner of Eastside Big Tom's in Olympia, WA. Dude is super cool, he's always making some new weird creation. Slit bacon wrapped corndog hot dog was one of my favorites. Helped do a burger photoshoot in that parking lot too with a Big Mac onesie and a pregnant girl!
Vastly underrated are cashew nuts on medium rare cheeseburger. I will die on this hill.
Thank you FWF, I know what's on my lunch menu tomorrow!
Always a great time watching George make burgers! Thanks for sharing!
Coming from someone who works down the road from Big Tom's if you haven't had their burgers your definetly missing out! I can't believe a small spot like ours is on such a big channel! Thanks so much for the recognition!!
I wish we bigfoots could get burgers out here in the wilderness, these look so good

Dude this is easily my favorite new show on the internet! and love watching George make and tell us about burgers!
I'm addicted to George eating his burgers and his delightful personality.
George needs to have more episodes per season. He should also run for prime minister of Canada for 2023!!
Is he Canadian? I know wolverine is so I’m gonna say that’s close enough

Me, a Pennsylvanian: *furiously looking to see how far I live from Girardsville*
Girardville is in schuylkill county about a 25 minute drive from Pottsville where yuengling is lol should def check out Tony’s one day as a road trip
Living pretty damn close to Girardville is peak heaven. You gotta find time to get over there for a couple Fluffs and Screamers
Just order Pop’s Original it’s actually better or stop by Dorkos in Mount Carmel for a Screamer!!
Deep fried bacon

I get genuinely excited when I see a fresh Burger Scholar video drop. Thank you for the content ✌
George: this is too hot to eat
Also George: immediately bites down and burns himself.
This man is a treasure
let’s go skook, that’s my grandfather on the pops original screamer sauce.
that's awesome! what's in the sauce, just chili peppers and hot dogs?
Pops Original Screamer Sauce
I enjoyed your range of reactions in the screamer as you experienced all the different ingredients.
You're like everyone's crazy eccentric uncle! Love tuning in.
This show never disappoints! I have watched and enjoyed every single episode!
I was gonna say that they should release a Burger Scholar blooper reel but then I realized every Burger scholar sessions video is a blooper reel.
I love learning from this guy. If it was a college class I’d come to EVERY lecture
I've missed this! George is the best! Please keep making these.😍😍
I was just thinking about what makes burgers unique in the PNW, Seattle specifically, and I landed on the sauce. It's almost like tartar sauce with mustard added, and no surprise given the seafood culture. It is truly delicious!!
One of these days he’s gonna burn his tongue so badly he won’t be able to taste any burger for a week. Use the magic of editing and let those burgers rest a bit man.
He's grown an immunity.
ruclips.net/video/qUAmAES-2o0/видео.html
What a glorious life he's living minus constantly burning himself
George Motz is my spirit animal
Wow! Pushing George to the brink is something to be commended. Well done, PA...well done. Just take his "recipe" for all the unusual ingredients on a burger...you know you want it. (So sad it's the season finale...Looking forward to more!)
George! Toppings vs bottomings? Is there any history behind that or is it something a burger joint picks and runs with it?
The fluff burger, they were either high, or didn't like themselves the night they invented it.
No it’s just a small town with nothing really near it. It became a popular thing back before pot was a popular thing
I live about 5 minutes from Tony’s, back in the day a pregnant woman came into the shop “Tony’s lunch” in girardville, and requested the fluff on the burger instead of just the hot sauce and the rest is history. It’s a big deal around here but the original doesn’t use the “pops” hot sauce
Pops Original is way better!!!!!
We want more more more videos Sir!
Love this channel and everything you stand for!!!
Thanks for highlighting "goop," George.
It's been around for a while in the PNW. I can even remember being given goop with my burgers by the cafeteria ladies at my elementary school in the 80s.
My disappointment that season 4 is already over is immeasurable. Let's go season 5!
I think this episode has the record for most times George has burned himself in some fashion
But he also made four burgers, so did he burn himself more often per burger? 🤔
I grew up in Olympia WA, Big Toms was always the place we went to for burgers and crinkle cut fries with goop! Whenever I travel back there, Big Toms is always a stop that I make. Glad to see it make it to the channel!!!
I can't wait for seasons 5, 6, 7,.... This shiw makes me happy. Thanks George.
I'm honestly impressed that George didn't make more nuts jokes.
I live about 3 miles from Eastside Big Tom’s in Olympia. Been eating their burgers for over 40 years. #gooplife
Thank you for sharing these amazing burgers with us George
Your reactions are absolutely priceless !
the day in which george doesnt burn his mouth with hot molten burger is the day hell freezes over
Never hit the watch video faster to watch a man burn himself on a griddle
no one loves you. with that comment i now know why
The best part of all of his episodes are when he takes a fresh patty and constructs the burger, to then take a phat bite of flaming deliciousness and goes on the cool down freak out. Epic
This reminds me of a burger place near me but for a completely different and weird reason. It's the 5-8 Club in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. And, while they have some good burgers by themselves, they offer up sweet-potato fries with a dipping sauce of... marshmallow bleu cheese. It has to be Fluff they're using mixed with some bleu cheese dressing. It sounds almost terrible but it really does complement the fries quite nicely.
Deep fried bacon, it's one of the most american thing that I ever saw.
"The whole point of this country is that if you want to eat garbage, balloon up to 600lbs and die of a heart attack at 43, you can! You are free to do so. To me, that's beautiful" ~ Ron Swanson
