I've actually done something similar to that five guys burger. Except, I used two grilled cheese sandwiches(on wheat) with green chile and Chipotle mayo. I like my burgers medium well with tomato and onions. But, I went with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions and spicy mustard and used the green chile grilled cheese as buns. It was amazing!

Wish they'd open an In N Out east coast, or more shake shacks. I do have Five Guys at least, and jalapenos are an optional listed topping. Also have the lettuce wrap, which is actually a good way to eat a loaded burger since there's no bun to get soggy.

I tried a double double and animal style fries for the first time yesterday (first time on the West Coast) and it was life changing. The toasted buns are so simple but so genius and really elevate In-n-Out's burgers to a whole other level of fast food.

I’ve ordered the five guys double bacon grilled cheese burger and the employees didnt even know about it. It was great. And two meals with small fries and drink cost $25 each lol.
I’ve worked at Five Guys and I can honestly say that all we do as line cooks is figure out what we can pair together. We made a pickle milkshake and it was delicious.

Moved from Phoenix to Orlando and I miss In N Out so much.
My friends and I used to eat at a sports bar 3-5 times a week. Most of the time we were served by our friend from high school. Over the course of a year or so, she saved our tips separate from the others and announced to us that we paid her tuition to university for a year.

The peanutbutter sauce is originaly from Indonesia. They use the sauce at diner. When The Netherlands colonised this country in the 17th century, they brought this recipe to Holland. In Indonesia they use real peanuts to make this saus. In Holland they use peanutbutter to make the sauce and eat it with fries, bbq, burgers etc.

I used to work at Five Guys and we never did the grilled cheese top cause thatd be a hella waste of time. (And buns)
But we did do patty melts where basically we took the grilled cheese (which is just the hamburger bun upside down) and threw on a patty and whatever toppings.

I feel like the reason that shake shack and in and out are always part of the conversation and that people sleep on five guys is mostly because the previous two are regional. If you talk to anyone from California or new york it generally comes up. You hear about these fantastic burgers that you can only get in one corner of the US, while five guys are everywhere.
There’s a local place in Denton called Rooster’s and they have their own double cheeseburger with two grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns like the five guys one. I ordered it and I never felt happier to eat something in my life.
