PTO story- According to Federal law, the business is required to tell everyone hired, including part time workers, of personal time in case of illness! Violating it can result in massive fines!
I report that company to the State Labor Board and state medical services for the HR and the company for not informing the employees of their PTO.
Pallet stack story: When you have a contract with your customer citing specifics, you'd be smart not to violate those conditions.
PTO story: Too many companies can be really shady about pay, time off and such. I hope the OP in this story told ALL of his part-time coworkers about this.
Grocery shopping story: You did a very good deed OP. Thank you.
Neighbor vs grass story: I'd have been "planting" some upwards pointing spikes in the grass for him.
Fiat story: I suspect those Fiats brought back some of the only good memories he had of the war.
PTO Story: I hope OP not only told all the other Employees about the Sick PTO but also the Federal Department of Labor about the Companies failure to tell tell the workers about it or give OP the money for it until he REALLY pushed for it...
Even if a Fiat 500 is a really small car, I'm shure, it's called GRAND theft auto. 😅
My first car was a Fiat 500. The front pasenger seat had been removed so at least one passenger could stretch out. Good days.
The elderly neighbor story is a guy who wanted to buy that property and is bound and determined to drive the owners away, I'm betting. He'll get back and find a way to escalate.
sounds like a big importent contract, maybe the backroom manager in question could get the entire group of store to drop the contract or it might have been at a location that send stuff out to the stores considering op got their demands from the bosses boss and the bosses boss even forced ops boss to go there to.

I and two friends worked for Food Lion when they were in my city and they were a extremely corrupt company. I still have quite a bit of documentation of their misdeeds.
There's a couple of reasons you don't stack to high. First people may have trouble reaching stuff on top. Second the stuff on the bottom might not support the weight above. Third if it falls over a short stack won't do as much damage to people or property.

Trespassing Story - Logs?! You don't use logs as a deterrent. Boulders are needed. Can't drive over or move them... without major difficulty.

As to the first story that boss got a badly needed attitude ajustment. As to the second story that company needs to be investigated and fined. As to the third story op has a very kind heart. As to the fourth story that neighbor learned the hard way to mind hisnown buisness and not tonttesspass. As to the last story the tower should have varified proper ownership. Now the idiot neighbor has a criminal record.

It's sad how men of that generation aren't able to do the simple tasks because their wife always did everything for them.
I learned the basics of cooking from my mother. I'm not a fancy cook, but I can cook good food. She also taught me how to sew on a button. Did that yesterday, when a button came off of my PJs.
It's called "batching" = looking after yourself as a batchelor. No man should ever count on a woman to do "woman's work" for him, just as it's unwise for a woman to rely entirely on men to do traditionally "men's work" for her.
