      I do remember a that the cops can arrest a troublesome child for a night as a scare tactic to straighten them out.
      Playing on this, I think the husband should talk to his sergeant to set up a sting for the wife: have her arrested and slip in how her actions might result in his conviction as well for the crimes letting her stew for a couple of days while imagining her house, trinkets, and child being taken away. Eventually being released as the sergeant berates him stating things like "this is your last chance" and the such.
      Meanwhile, the cop can use this as a teaching moment for his daughter... explaining that mommy's actions were wrong and that there are consequences for trying to steal.

    • @Cerberusx32
      @Cerberusx32 Год назад +7

      Unfortunately, that doesn't always work. Typically, developers will simply throw money at the issue to get their way. Hell, the state I live in, developers will simply kill the protected species in the land they bought and eat the fines. Cause it's cheaper and people are corrupt enough that nothing gets done about it.

    • @animejanai4657
      @animejanai4657 Год назад +4

      Doesn't always work when greedy developers use TACTICS.
      In my city, the protected speicies mysteriously ALL DIED IMMEDIATELY with no known cause. Since there was no more protected species, the land developer proceded with land development with the city officially supporting it. In a different incident in my county, the recalcitrant land owner refusing to sell started to get anonymous hazardous waste dumped on his property. It was reported and he had to keep paying huge fees to hazardous waste removal companies to remove it AND dispose of the contaminated soil. The land thus became extremely expensive to hold on to. The land was eventually sold. In a different country many years ago around the time the olympics were held in Greece, there was a greek farmer in the news since a developer wanted his land. He refused to sell and his farm buildings and equipment were arsoned seven times. The farmer eventually had to sell the farm because it was non-productive.

    I once had a karen order me to buy their child a video game since I was already getting a strange kid one, the strange kid was my son who looks exactly like me. She said there was no way I could even know him since he walked in before me. My son started laughing and told her that it's not possible for us to walk through the door at the exact same time. I had never heard anyone actually use the excuse of them being a good student but this karen said "my child deserves a new game and since you are already buying that kid a game you can get my kid a game and they are such a good student." The employee came out from the back, picked up the phone and a few minutes later police came and escorted her out, she had been banned by doing the same thing to other people multiple times.

Where is the value in a house that barely lasts one generation? Where is the value in a house that can't be passed to the next generation? I am baffled that you seemingly put up with such low standards as though this sort of penny-pinching is acceptable behaviour.
